It was an accumulation of little annoyances that made the experience negative. For the most part, staff were friendly and tried to correct problems expeditiously. My key demagnetized twice. It never worked on the parking gate as it should. The conference sandwiches were soggy and the bread stale. The continental breakfast was limited to danishes which were uncovered. I saw a fly on them so I didn't eat any. Breakfast buffet was limited. I get better choices at lower end hotels. The biscuits were stale. They ran out of cantaloupe and Yo plait Light. The water had an unpleasant taste and affected the coffee which tasted terrible. The Starbuck's Caramel Latte was not made correctly. I know, since I drink it all the time. The fitness room was great! My iron leaked and the ironing board rocked back and forth. The ice machine on my end of the hall was broken. Not enough restrooms for the people attending the conference. One restroom had one toilet. Another had only two. I finally started going to my room during breaks to avoid the long lines.

I stayed with a convention group, and every one of the staff members was polite and friendly and conveyed to me how much they enjoyed working there. The rest of the hotel facility is also excellent, but the most striking detail for me remains the hotel staff.

i stayed at this location for my masonic convention. I truly enjoyed the facility and food!!!! The only issue i had was the housekeeping. I did not receive enough towels and she did not vacuum enough.

Room was across the hall from very noisey ice & vending machines, and had a 1-1/2 inch gap at bottom of door that did not shield the noise. Room was cold, but the HVAC would not deliver any heat; I had to turn it off to maintain a barely tolerable temperaure.

was very professional throughout our stay

This hotel met every expectation of mine except the room amenities need to be upgraded. The rooms have no refrigerator or microwave. I was at the hotel for a convention and stayed for several nights. It would have been nice to have these items in the room.

Keep this hotel in mind when you want to have a place to rest before or after a long flight or trip. It is nice to get a clean room, fresh linens and nice staff especially when you are tired.
We always use this hotel to break up longer trips.

The bathroom in our room was just about worn out and needed a lot of maintenance. The toilet wasn't attached to the floor securely and the vanity was badly worn. In addition, the closet door in the bedroom was off the track. This room was way over priced.

We arrived to a very nice guest service hostess. My check in was smooth and the hostess was very knowledgeable in her job. The entire staff was courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Hotel staff was fantastic, rooms were very clean and nice, pool was great, shuttle service back and forth to the airport (and marta station) ended up being a critical element to all of our activities we enjoyed while in Atlanta. Thanks very much!!

very nice room and comfortable bed.
price quoted was $109 but the bill was $152. the 40% difference for taxes and fees for anything sold should NEVER be left out of a transaction like it was. that's a colossal difference.

Had a great time at the hotel, staff was really friendly. However, I did not received the point for choosing the “Make a Green Choice” Program. Front desk assured me that points would be given, but I'm yet to see them deposited in my account!

The lounge/ dining room was a little slow with orders,etc. Though the rest of my stay was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly at the front desk. There is no complimentary wifi though even in the front lobby which was a huge damper on my trip.

There was no hot water, which made taking a morning shower an adventure. When checking out I informed the the desk clerk of this. His response: "oh I'm sorry. should I leave it all on the credit card?"

Free shuttle running all day.

I feel that Internet should be free to all persons staying at the Hotel. Most of the lower changes offer free Wi-FI as a calling card for business. While Sherton is on a higher scale, this feature should be at not cost to is patrons.

Friendly staff, older hotel that has been fully remodeled. Can watch airplanes land from the room windows, but no noise from them. Nice lobby with free internet access and a number of computers. Really nice indoor pool and outdoor pool.

a renovation would be great; the carpet and walls tell the age. the room was very warm when I checked in; it improved. the flat screen is very nice; additional outlets would be helpful for the business traveler with multiple devices.

When checking in I was not asked if I needed help with luggage. Ususlly I would but I was traveling with two small children by myself. Would not have been so upset if they werent so interested in the other employees conversation.

This hotel has a good location close to the airport and is easily accessible from major highways. The reception staff were helpful and the only downside was the restaurant not opening on time in the morning for early departures.

No service directory in room. No mention of in-room dining hours at hotel web site. No TV station directory. At check-in was advised NO SPG GOLD BENEFITS because I was redeeming an award for stay.

My family and I enjoyed our most recent stay at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, Atlanta, GA.
Front desk staff was courteous, food was great, rooms were comfy and clean. Hotel staff in general very welcoming.

I found the breakfast charge for coffee to be outrageous and excessive. My entre was $12.99, and $4 was added for coffee. That's 30% of the bill! Yes I know it is advertised as "Starbucks", but still it is just black coffee.

Have been staying at this hotel once a month for a few years due to business. Lately have been disappointed in staff curtsey and attention. I am a SPG Gold member and always stay on a Tuesday night but cannot remember the last time I was able to stay on the club level. In the past few months have had trouble with keys and had to make more than one trip to the front desk...have had trouble getting internet in the room so could not do work needed to be done...have been put in a handicapped room twice and had to request to be moved. This last check in and issues was handled by a a woman at the front desk who acted as though we were interrupting her day by standing in front of her and breathing! Usually we eat out but when I did ave occasion to eat in the restaurant it was not an enjoyable experience as the staff had to searched for and the food was tasteless. Have in the past requested and recommended this hotel because it is clean and convienent and very quiet considering its proximity to the airport but after the last stay I will now be requesting another hotel.

I'm in Atlanta once per month to buy and sell cars at an Auction. This Hotel is very close to the Auction but so are many others.
The service is great and the rooms are nice. Add to that a very good breakfast and location.

Dirty carpets in room and in hallways, NOISY, thermostat did not work, no recognition as a Starwood Preferred Guest. Staff stated that they would be at capacity so switching rooms was not an option. Stay elsewhere!!!

Bed comforter appeatgreared like it has several stains like they had not been washed since last guest had stayed. en at end of second night so i did not call it to the attention of the staff, we stayed three days total.
