Rated 1 out of 5 by Very outdated room, unreliable services. Room (junior suite) located behind elevator shaft and right under lounge (very noisy day & night), this should be a storage room and not an upgraded guest room on a club floor. Room not clean, some mess from the previous guest left in the room, some of the furniture in the room totally worn-out, unreliable services - asked for wake up call which never came (that's a problem when you are staying at an airport hotel and need to catch an early flight). Yes, the staff at the front desk and in the lounge was very friendly, but there are many better hotel options around ATL airport. December 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this Sheraton From the time of check-in to the time I left, the service was fantastic. They were helpful with my questions about internet access, planning my room service and helping with my transportation. The breakfast room service had a very health option to select and it was right on time. I was on a time schedule in the morning and the staff were GREAT! I've been here before and have always had the same experience. Thank you for making my stay comfortable! December 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel has gone down hill quickly I'm not one to go on these surveys but after my experience this past week at your hotel, I had to say something. I travel to ATL often on business and have stayed at this hotel frequently but have seen it's digression occur very rapidly. The gym was dank and equipment is old. Elevator broke and staff was extremely rude. Desk staff was rude and indifferent. Room smelled musty, the shuttle drivers were more interested in watching TV than shuttling. Other business travelers also staying at S Gateway also complained in our daily meetings about there experience. January 28, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel has dropped off the Sheraton radar I stay here when I cannot get a room at my preferred hotel because I am always disappointed in this Sheraton. The rooms smell of the old days when smoking was allowed. The a/c has not worked properly in the last 2 out of my 3 stays. The room's carpet (& even a lampshade) are soiled/stained, light bulbs burned out, and most recently, the bedside clock could NOT be set or adjusted - it just blinked, so I unplugged it. Room decor is very dark and uninviting. On the positive side, the bed is comfortable and bath towels are clean & of very good quality. Also, transportation to the airport is timely & reliable. Hello all, I have been having a platinum status and have been visiting this property for past few years out of necessity, during my stays I have experienced the following: This past stay on January 25th I had made a reservation well in advance and did not receive even an SPG level floor but a handicapped accessible room on a lower floor with no room to place my toiletries on the counter and a very dirty dusty room at that rate. Also any time I stay the heat or AC is never working correctly. After being a Platinum Status member for so long, any time I visit this hotel property I can always count on nothing more than sub standard customer service and accommodation. The hotel is run down, not clean, and has an un courteous front desk staff. On this next to last trip of the 25th of January 2012 because of our accommodation we were told we would get an additional 1000 SPG points as there was nothing they could do because at 11:30 at night they had rooms that needed to be cleaned but nobody to clean them, and looking at my account they never added the points to my stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Experience! We stayed here in May because of proximity and transportation to the airport. It was comfortable and the staff members were personable. We walked back in this October for another night stay before flight and the clerk, Ashley, immediately recognized us from previous stay. Wow! We were shocked; that has never happened anywhere we have traveled. October 17, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what I expected from Sheraton 1. Carpet worn and pulling away from edge of bathroom tile. 2. After running 8 cups of water through coffee maker in room and crud coming out each time, I gave up and went downstairs to microwave water. 3. I would rather be charged more for a room than feel as though I'm being nickel and dimed for Wi-Fi. 4. On a good note, the bedding was very comfortable. I did get a good night's sleep. Rated 5 out of 5 by Customer Service I have stayed in very nice hotels and some not so nice. This hotel was nice and clean. I was quite impressed after staying there for a day the next afternoon the clerk welcomed me by name! she smiled and was professional and friendly. The 1900 Bar restaurant downstairs had good food. I was beyond impressed with our server Sally. She was gracious and kind and went beyond her job. (Give that lady a raise!). This type of customer service is a breath of fresh air and not seen very often these days. Thank you for a great stay! February 1, 2012
