Rated 3 out of 5 by Sheraton Hong Kong Tower Room deception I have been staying in this hotel for over 15 years and I want to report that the level and status of this hotel is not worth the rates. Sheraton Hong Kong used offer many upgrades and extras to its customers however slowly and over time they are no longer. The lounges at even the Towers and especially the Platinum lounge or not worth going and I caution on the food quality . The wine is not anything you would expect to get at a much level lower hotel . My current stay I thought I was upgrading and paying to a tower room and they moved me to the exact same room on a 15ht floor o(one floor up) . When I complained they said they were overbooked and had to open up some regular rooms so they could accommodate the situation . They said anyway the tower rooms on the higher floors were the same anyway and I still received the upgraded amenities like free suite press and breakfast in top floor . This was to me poor logic and not any value for the extra charge. They were very rehearsed in there response so I was not the only one they told this to and seems to be common practice. .Do not pay the upgrade and go to a nice bar or lounge instead. . Platinum status means nothing . I was traveling last time with another first time no status SPG person and she was upgraded on Check in to a suite harbor view and I was told at same time check in no upgrades were available. I think this hotel has policies which just teach there employees how to explain why they can not do something more than helping or recognizing loyalty. Rated 3 out of 5 by Wasting time Wasting time during change of rooms, I was given three different rooms during my stay,I was told all is ok to go 17 floor, but on my return I was told that room jot available so had to change again to 10 floor October 20, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Health Club Not only the health club is small and lacking of equipment but the worst part is that in a so called 5 star hotel they have this policy of not 24 hour operation not even considering the jet lag factors and exercise options of many of their customers traveling from different continents. Also 0 flexibility from the attendant on duty and the hotel manager on duty. September 19, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Service Standards This is my preferred hotel in HK. I love its location and convenience. Rooms are spacious with generous light-flow. Platinum recognition is always excellent. And most importantly, they have maintained consistently high service standards. But this time, while being checked in, I felt a slight lapse in service. It was noon, my upgraded room would not be ready for another two hours and I was told to leave my luggage with concierge when the associate could have called for concierge assistance. She wasn't rude, just matter-of-fact and a bit abrupt, rather than warm and apologetic. In most hotels, this would be fine. But I have always felt that the Sheraton Hong Kong was at the top of its game. Anyway, once we got our room, everything went smoothly throughout the stay. This is still my favourite hotel in HK, and I would definitely recommend it to friends. Service is particularly stellar in Housekeeping, the breakfast cafe and Executive Lounge. September 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Location, Room Condition, and Service Location - Close to TST and East TST station, walking distance to waterfront and Star Ferry Terminal. Also only 1 stop from Kowloon Airport Express station with Shuttle bus Room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. Outdoor pool is small but good spot to enjoy the city view at night.
