Rated 5 out of 5 by Recent Hong Kong Stopover We recently had a three day stopover on the Executive Floor at the Sheraton Nathan Road. The staff were extremely efficient and solved a lost luggage issue very quickly. The breakfast lounge was fantastic, but the lounge for evening drinks was disappointing as it is simply too small to cater for the number of guests and the hors d'oeuvres rather ordinary by comparison to those we have enjoyed in other Sheraton Hotels. We ended up in the boardroom on our second night which was rather clinical and lacked the atmosphere we were hoping for. Staff did their very best under the circumstances which we really appreciated. Efficient friendly service Focused on trying to assist With so many different cultures to cater for this hotel does it extremely well A credit to management as things flow smoothly If you don't enjoy the experience of staying at this wonderful hotel it may be you at fault May 1, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by unacceptable I am over 15 years deSPG partner is not the first time I go to the Sheraton HK This was the last and I was not treated as having the hotel spg A lot of bureaucracies to up grade and the availability of better romm I had to pay for this in the executive floor when that is a privilege throughout the chain is platinuim March 13, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but I was majorly disappointed in the requirement of a deposit. We were not prepared for this so the 4000 HKD deposit was more than expected by a lot, I understand the need to swipe a card just in case but to actually put an hold on a credit card is outrageous. I have never had a Sheraton do this and I think it is basically calling the customers thieves. However the rest of the stay was beyond wonderful. I can not say enough good things about the hotel in general lots of good customer service and if it were not for for the outrageous deposit this would be a perfect hotel. March 16, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Do not appreciate platinum memembers well The hotel has nice club lougnes, but not open to Platinum mumbers. Instead, they use two hotel rooms to set up a very crowded lounge with very little food and drink options for platinum mumbers, this has been the worest Sheraton lougne I have seen, it totally should not happen at Sheraton hotel. Their other buautiful launges are almost empty, but they want to keep them to charge big dollors. Very disapointed... January 23, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to stay Location is near the harbor, across the street from a major museum. Nathan Street is a very busy place, with lots of upscale shopping and restaurants. A high quality movie theater is one block away. The only negative is being approached every few minutes to buy a watch, have a suit made, or get a massage. I was approached several times, one asking which hotel I stayed at. The hotel is high class. Very attentive staff and everything is top quality. Great in-hotel restaurants. Be sure to dine on the 18th floor and get an amazing view of Hong Kong. March 22, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by good location, poor check in staff The location is very close to metro, ferry and bus lines that will take you anywhere. Nathan street is too loud and crowded, but can be avoided. The staff at check in was horrible - it took me over 30 minutes to check in because I was using a combination of free night awards and paying for other nights. I almost walked out I was so frustrated! April 22, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by 2 things Service in 2nd floor restaurant has gone down. The more experienced and tenored staff still delivers good service. Tbe newer assocuated need more training. I waited a long time for coffee after sitting several mornings - almost every morning and always had to ask for attract attention to ask for refills Newer associates in Club Lounge also need training especially drink preparation. Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel has great staffs As a traveler, I often stay in this hotel when come to Hong Kong. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. I stayed here during end of July with my friends which came from mainland China and it's the first time they visited Hong Kong. The front desk staff especially Ms. Hazel LU serviced us well when we arrived at hotel, Hazel also told them the tourist attractions, transportation, local delicacies and etc. She also recognized us when she met us during our stay and inquired if she could do anything for us. Sheraton Hong Kong hotel is always my first choice when I stay in Hong Kong. August 13, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Horrible taxi's at the hotel I stayed at the hotel for one night and although the hotel is good, it needs to pay closer attention to the taxi services it provides for its guests and to train valet better. I had a map printed out with me which I showed to both the valet and the taxi driver, and valet explained in Chinese to the taxi driver where I needed to go. The taxi still managed to get completely lost for an hour and I missed an important meeting. The taxi # was PF3763. The hotel should make sure that competent drivers transport their guest and that their valets don't put the guest in taxis where the driver does not know where he/she are going! I don't need this review to be published but this is my way of filing an official complain. January 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Central location great staff We were upgraded to an executive suite which was great! The room has a lounge suite and the bath and shower is separate . I would not pay double the price for this room as it is not as special as other spg hotels. The platinum lounge is not welcoming I don't enjoy it. It is just a converted bedroom. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is great! April 17, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by unpleasant stay firstly, i have a platinum membership; i applied for a room upgrading using my credits to a suite room around one week ahead for a business purpose but the request was not met without explanations. secondly, i arrived at 10:00pm, when i got into the room and inserted the key, the air conditioner made a big unpleasant noise; i was tired but i had to wait for 15 minutes in order to allow the hotel staff fix the air conditioner. I did not even receive an apology. October 31, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by short stay I often stay at the Sheraton HK when in town because of its central location. The hotel gives excellent service that cater the needs of the traveller (very friendly and efficient, such as:: check-in, check-out, concierge, restaurants etc.) The Club level is rather simple but good enough for a quiet drink. Rooms could need an upgrade to a higher luxury level (rennovation). Ceilings ar low and furniture rather old, however still comfortable. Otherwise it's the hotel to stay if you are looking for an efficient, highly professional but friendly service on a reasonable price level. March 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by a Huge drop instandards I have been staying at the hotel on a regular basis for over 20 years. My most recent stay is the first time I have had reason to complain.. the service throughout the hotel's lounges, restaurants and bar was abysmal. Our visit to the Japanese restaurant required us to phone the front desk to tell the restaurant staff we required service. There were several of my colleagues who stayed at the hotel and all reported the same sort of fall in standards. As an aside I stayed in the Towers and as usual the staff there were excellent. Rated 5 out of 5 by SPG ELITE RECOGNITION Staffs are very professional and albeit, a little bit 'serious looking' as it seems to be a hotel that primarily caters to business folks and professionals. So if youre looking for a hotel where most of its guests are businessmen, a place where you dont see too many 'kids' running in the lobby, or a hotel where high end shopping is right outside, then this is the hotel for you while in HKG. Having said that, that means the level of attentiveness they provide are exceptional and on the dot. What you want, they provide to you without the endless chitchat. Another reason why I love this hotel is because of the benefits they provide to its SPG elite members. Expect (in my case at least) to have suite upgrades even confirmed before check-in. I tend to request the same room everytime I'm staying at the Sheraton Kowloon, and most of the times, I get the same room suite that I want (and if i didn't get it, I've been assigned to another suite anyhow). Buffet breakfast is free for platinum members and other perks as well! As an example, I had an early flight, so ordered room service late at night, I got it for free as I didnt utilize the buffet free breakfast. Anyways, long story short, If you're a platinum member with SPG, then this is the place to stay while in HKG as I have never been allocated a non-suite room even if I used cash&points or free night awards, etc.. Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel Needs Improvement I am a gold spg member and this hotel while they have lanes for gold and platinum check in don't even use it. I stood in line for 20 minutes before I got service. I also called ahead and requested connecting rooms with my co-worker. The person on the phone took the request and when when we checked it, they gave me a blank look like they never heard of the request. It was lights on but no one was home. Wireless internet in this hotel is extremely lacking. Speed is extremely slow and always drops. It is a waste of money to have to pay for wifi that does not even work. July 24, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs work The location can't be beat, that's for sure. I was however, very disappointed with this property. I paid extra for a "Towers room" and would never do that again. The room was small, outdated and the bathroom was the most impractically designed bathroom I've ever seen. The breakfast offerings in the lounge were weak at best, with some of the staff indifferent and slow to greet guests and serve them. Aside from the location, which is hard to beat I wouldn't spend what is charged for this property. I"d still recommend this property however, purely on location. December 17, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location The staff at check-in counter are very friendly and helpful. Room is at reasonable size with great harbour view. Extremely good location with easy access to any transportation and shopping. The only comments are the service level of the cafe in 2nd floor. Staff talked loudly with each other during breakfast time. The other comment is the odd layout of the SPG Platinum lounge, no privacy and seating too close to the other. But after all, was a good stay. March 17, 2014
