Staffs are very professional and albeit, a little bit 'serious looking' as it seems to be a hotel that primarily caters to business folks and professionals. So if youre looking for a hotel where most of its guests are businessmen, a place where you dont see too many 'kids' running in the lobby, or a hotel where high end shopping is right outside, then this is the hotel for you while in HKG.
Having said that, that means the level of attentiveness they provide are exceptional and on the dot. What you want, they provide to you without the endless chitchat.
Another reason why I love this hotel is because of the benefits they provide to its SPG elite members. Expect (in my case at least) to have suite upgrades even confirmed before check-in. I tend to request the same room everytime I'm staying at the Sheraton Kowloon, and most of the times, I get the same room suite that I want (and if i didn't get it, I've been assigned to another suite anyhow). Buffet breakfast is free for platinum members and other perks as well! As an example, I had an early flight, so ordered room service late at night, I got it for free as I didnt utilize the buffet free breakfast.
Anyways, long story short, If you're a platinum member with SPG, then this is the place to stay while in HKG as I have never been allocated a non-suite room even if I used cash&points or free night awards, etc..

This is our third stay at this hotel, all be it over a number of years. Not much has been updated. Overall, the room was very small, we were not put on the SPG floor and the breakfast area battled to cope with the guest numbers. Also there was very limited or no service at the pool, one reason we decided to stay here again (as previously this was great) The location is great but it is very expensive for what you get (no free wifi)In future we would look to stay elsewhere, as no benefit for returning guests.

I stayed in recently remodeled room in Sheraton/HK. I welcome a more modern look and feel to the room. I like the TVs on the wall.
But, lost ability to plug in outside devices, I think.
Also - sorry - but I hate the new desks. I always spend a lot of time working at the desk. This one is terrible. I keep hitting my knees when trying to get close enough.
Optical mouse does not work on glass desk so have to find a piece of paper or something (Mouse pad would be nice add)
Lighting seems somehow overall worse. Not enough and not flexible enough.
Oh - and I cannot resist commenting again on the Platinum Club Lounge. the original on 9th floor has no view. Claustrophobic atmosphere. The temporary Lounge in 11th floor is obviously a little awkward - but at least I appreciated the windows.
And, great staff. Very responsive and friendly.

Excellent and efficient service from the moment we arrived in our taxi to the moment we left. I got upgrade for Platinum membership. Room is really nice and clean. Their attention to details is impressive. Staff is courteous and efficient. Breakfast buffet at the Café is gorgeous, with a lot of choices, very clean and appealing. We stayed for 5 nights and received surprises for our anniversary and my birthday. I have stayed in a lot of SPG hotels all over the world and this is definitely one of the best.

We decided to try out Sheraton HK for one of our redemption nights. It can be seen the room -- especially the bathroom - was meticulously designed (or upgraded) to provide the max. service to hotel guests. It was very clean too. Room decor is good, except the carpet can be seen as "old". Seeing how much effort the hotel has put into to "upgrade" it, it's a pity - and surprisingly so - that staff at the Cafe did not quite live up to its par. We were told the tea buffet is "good" and my husband went down to try it but found it TOTALLY unacceptable, worse than any fast-food stores. He said it's not even worth HKD50. It's a shame that while the hotel has paid so much attention to "upgrading/maintaining" its room facilities but has not shown similar interest in the food service provided.

I have stayed in this hotel since 2005 and this round is the worst. The internet speed slows down to a crawl for the 4 nights that I stayed there. Every night is the same. The hotel should do something to this.

This is my property of choice when visiting Hong Kong. Located within easy walking distance to public transportation, great restaurants, interesting attractions and shopping. The restaurants located in the hotel are world class and views of Hong Kong and the nightly laser show are outstanding (make very sure you book early for a table with a view)!! The staff are exceptionally helpful and well trained. I would recommend this property for all occasions business and leisure.

I was staying in a room on the 9th floor and after coming back from work on friday evening at 7pm was subject to loud noises from the floor above. I understand that there was renovation work going on in the hotel but that is meant to stop at 6pm! I was awoken on Saturday morning with the same banging sounds and would have hoped the hotel would respect at least the weekend and not allow work on Saturday & Sunday. A very disturbing stay!

Stayed in a Towers room with my husband for 3 nights.
Check in was efficient and friendly, bags were taken to our room with a minimum of fuss.
The room was clean with a great view of Hong Kong harbour.
We used the laundry service and had our laundry returned the same day.
Breakfast was well presented with a good range to choose from and service was excellent.
I would not hesitate to stay at the Hong Kong Sheraton again and will recommend this hotel to our friends.
Staff were all very friendly.

The online SPG staff was able to accommodate my request to a suite upgrade prior to my long stay from the US. This was greatly appreciated as I was staying for 18 nights in Hong Kong. The property had a bit of wear but was undergoing renovations to address this issue and I believe I will stay at this property next time I visit and hopefully, in the newly renovated rooms!

I experienced Room Service on a couple of occasions during my stay. I placed a breakfast order as well as a dinner order. The staff (order taker) who handled my order to the service staff that delivered my order were excellent.
The quality of the food for breakfast and then for dinner I felt surpassed the a la carte breakfast experience I had in the Cafe.
I would utilize Room service at the Sheraton Hong Kong again.

We stayed only overnight while on our honeymoon, but we were very impressed with what we experienced.
The SPG recognition (gold at the time) gave us a great view of the harbor in a very nice room
We dined briefly in one of the restaurants (I forget which one) near closing hour due to our late arrival from the USA. The food was pretty good and well priced.
The hotel is well located on Nathan Road in Tsim Tsa Shui, close to public transportation and an inexpensive cab ride from the airport.

Stayed for 5 days and felt at home. Great service. Doormen bell staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to take care of me.
Will return in a couple weeks and looking forward to it.

We stayed for 4 nights and overall the hotel is clean, staff are friendly and location is good and convenience.
We can stay in our room to enjoy the night music symphony (really enjoy the moment)

Lots of competition in this town so this is a good hotel if you only go starwood (the other option is the W) but it isn't as well priced for the amenities as some of the hotels in the area. Breakfast is just OK and expensive. Location is good.

I travelled to Hong Kong quite frequently but this is my first time staying in Sheraton. It was definitely the best decision that I have made. The facilities are well maintained and the staff are friendly and professional. What left the deepest impression is the attention to the smallest details by the hotel staff, from the time I arrive till I check-out. They even prepared a birthday cake for my wife!
Kudos to the team for making our 5-day stay a much memorable one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bomba Great hotel but lost my laundry
We loved the hotel. Made our first time stay in HK great except the last night when we found out our laundry was missing. It took a while for them to realize it was missing and to meet up with us. After having a few discussions with the management, they finally compensate us. It still hurts since we just bought the shirt and for a hotel like Sheraton, I didn't expect my laundry to go missing. Makes us a bit worried to send our clothes for laundry in a starwood hotels.

This hotel is well positioned and from some rooms, has a great view of the famous harbour. It is very well managed from a conference or meetings perspective. I wondered about the very "business like" attitude of the check in staff on the SPG desk but otherwise everything was very good.
Internet was OK but it seemed my devices somehow picked up the wrong transmitter for wi-fi and it was slow and intermittent. I would have appreciated a wired solution instead.

I have been staying at the Sheraton Hong Kong since 1980, of course with the odd stay at other Hong Kong hotels along the way. Position is of course important but for me it is the staff the ultimately make the real difference. Betty on the Club floor is just such an example...her professionalism is equally balanced with her friendly and "always helpful" demeanour. Our last visit was no exception...thanks Betty, just wonderful!

99.99% of the time, I stay at this SPG property while in HKG due to their excellent platinum recognition, whether using free night awards, cash and points, SPG50, you name it. Always upgraded to one of their suites.
Keep in mind that this is a business hotel. So if you are looking for a 'party' hotel, best go to the other SPG property in Kowloon....
Only thing that I personally think needs improvement is their room service menu. Not a lot of choices....

RECEPTION STAFF NOT OVERLY FRIENDLY OR OBLIGING AND I FELT THAT I HAD TO CONVINCE THEM OF MY ENTITLEMENTS AS A PLATINUM LEVEL GUEST. AN UPGRADED ROOM (AGAIN) DID NOT HAPPEN AND THE ROOM WE STAYED IN WAS PARTICULARLY SMALL AND INADEQUATE. JOHNNY HOWEVER IN THE PLATINUM LOUNGE IS AN OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE, EFFICIENT AND COURTEOUS AND EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE. THE LOUNGE IS A POOR EXCUSE AND IT HAS A BUDGET MENTALITY WITH WINDOWLESS WALLS AND A VERY SMALL AREA.

I have stayed here a few times now and I am constantly blown away by the focus on customer service. The staff call me by name, and its little touches like the staff remembering even between trips how I like my breakfast and arranging it just so every day. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the executive club lounge is great. Overall I always feel welcome and valued at this hotel, and will choose it over others for that reason.

The location is excellent, underground connect to shopping mall SOGO and some famous tour points, such as Avenue of Stars. From this hotel can take the MTR can go anywhere. Even bad weather, still can go out shopping or eating in I-Square or K-11.
Hotel has GYM can relax and swimming and sauna too.
We have a great time and will come back.

I suggest you improve on the signs that lead to the hotel lobby especially when entering from the Sogo store and tunnel . After leaving the tunnel and entering the lower level of the hotel signs are needed to find the lobby.
