Rated 5 out of 5 by lalatralala A great place for families
I loved the staff and the activities they had for my grandchildren. I brought both of my daughters with me, one has two children and one is not married and no children. Both had a great time. The relaxing pool, bar and proximity to nightlife fit one. The fun at the pool and the proximity to wonderful amusement parks and museums made it equally wonderful for my married daughter and her children. A great place for anyone.

Beautiful resort and rooms. However the person below or above me would come in and slam the door so hard it shook the whole building. I really don't know what they were doing? It would be 10:30 pm at night and slam and the whole bedroom wall would shake. I don't kniw if it was the laundry, sliding doors to patio, etc. The first night tbe banging and closing of doors was repeated over and over and it made me so upset I called the front desk.. it seems to me places like this need to really make it clear to guests there are others right next to them, below and on top because so many guests just don't seem to get it and have no consideration for other people. It makes me not enjoy going on vacation as I pay a lot of money for a non-relaxing tine having to listen to other people's slamming of doors, or walking around like neandrathals and basically thinking it's okay to make a lot of noise as if they are in their own home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Great pool area for every age person
As always the resort was great ! The pool area was wonderful - something for every age person. Hot tub was wonderful. Food and drinks at pool were also very good. The location is so close to all the shopping and entertainment you desire. But when you are at the resort, you don't even know you are in a large metro area. So peaceful, beautiful landscaping, great relaxing. We had the one bedrrom unit with small kitchen which served all our needs. We cooked in when wanted and all was fine. Nice balcony for private outside relaxing. Wonderful visit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TomSue Great Place, Great Staff!
We have been owners since 2002. We also own at the Westin Kierland. Both great places, but somehow feel more comfortable at the Sheraton. Location is great, rooms clean and comfortable. But the tiebreaker between the Westin and the Sheraton is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Westin is great too, don't get me wrong. But we see some of the same people here year after year, and they remember you. Very friendly, very courteous. Just nice people. Front desk from Doug to all of the women, very nice. hats off to Mo who seems to work the pool area. He is always very friendly, talkative. Make him a manager or something - ha ha!

Great accommodations providing quiet, well maintained rooms. Staff extremely hospitable and friendly. Excellent value for the price! Located close to everything you wish to see (Barrett Jackson, Phoenix Open, Diamondbacks Spring Training, Music Museum, Frank Lloyd Wright Museum, Kierland Shopping/Dining, etc).

this facility is sub-par and should be avoided
we were badly misled when we booked this
the pool was closed and we were told we could use pool "across the street"
it was in fact a 9 minute drive and there was no where on this property where you can sit in sun except pool area which they kept locked

The grounds and the room were excellent. The layout was very nice. They upgraded my room which I appreciated! The only disappointments I had is they claimed to have a complementary breakfast but it was nothing more then a weak selection of donuts, bagels, coffee and orange juice to make matters worse is my wife and I were standing around looking for coffee cups that were non existent....after about 10 minutes of waiting for the bartender to give us some attention.....he does a half way look for some and states"I guess there aren't anymore" he doesn't go and find some, he doesn't call for someone to go and get some he just leaves us standing there looking stupid, its sad that one staff member can make the whole organization look bad but they can! I also called the concierge several times one morning for a restaurant recommendation and as instructed I left a message to have my call returned and it never was. The only message I received from the concierge was to encourage me to join them for their so called breakfast in the lounge which we know how that turned out. A side from that it was a very nice stay and I would recommend them and I would stay there again.
Thank you Vartan
