I was very disapointed as this is the second time it happens .. no power in the bathroom to plug my hair dryer. it was repaired the next day.. and they did not propose me any solution.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and each time I do, they make up rules as they go. I stay at a lot of starwood properties in a year (over 75 nights) and never have a problem with them following the program rules consistently. This Sheraton seems to just do what they want, regardless of the loyality to the brand.

- Did not feel recognize as a member of the SPG program.
-I was given an handicap room for a 2 nights stay even when I asked if a better room would be available, I was told that no other room were available...Great way to honor an SPG member.
- I had to remind them about my program advantage with Delta and SPG.

Convenient location, but for the price, I'd expect at least real beverage glasses, not plastic cups.
I didn't find anything about the room that was out of the ordinary to make it a "Preferred Guest" room.
If I come back for the NSRA event next year, will probably look for alternatives.

This hotel is sort of on no man's land. It's not near the airport and it's not near downtown. Being near a Michael's and a Petco is not what I usually expect from a Starwood property. There aren't any cabs really in Burlington so being far from either of those is a challenge. There is a shuttle they say goes anywhere but after waiting 30 minutes and having it go twice to the airport instead of downtown, I gave up and walked. It's a nice walk, at least.
I stayed over in the building past Tuckaways and it's darn loud. I had an early meeting and came back for a nap only to be woken up with doors slamming for at least 30 minutes as each door slams super loud and clearly a big party was going in and out.
Signage is totally confusing, too. The room numbering doesn't seem to make much sense at all. The staff didn't provide a map (of the property or the area which would have been helpful) so I wandered around and finally had to come back for help.
It definitely feels more like a motel than a Starwood. The $179 group rate was reasonable. The $300 second night rate was WAY overpriced. Also? They made me actually check out and check back in since I had one night at a reduced conference rate and a second night at full rate. Very odd.

The hotel common areas are fine and refreshing. The rooms are extremely in a sorry state. From old and smelly carpets, to coverlets and furniture, stuff is very dated.
There are no special amenities. Internet is extremely slow or not working.

Our room was old and quite run down. We were the last room next to the exit, down a long hallway and the safety latch bracket on our door was unscrewed on one end! The bathroom was old, with mildew on the tiles and broken closet doors. There was alot of noise from the floor above and 2 of the lightbulbs did not work. The hallway leading to the room had paint peeling and loose carpet, which continued into our room. Finally the sheets were old and pilly, rough to the touch. The room was quite expensive because "of the season" which I understand, but one would expect a room to be appointed to reflect the price and the enthusiasm of the "season"..I am a Starwood Member and quite disappointed in this hotel's attention to detail, I feel like I was just dumped into an old room. I feel I should have just stayed at a less reputable hotel and saved money!. We stay here because of the consistency of quality, but not this time! We stayed only one night, so did not change our room. Would stay again becuase it is close to my daughter's school, but with great reservation.

During our vacation in Vermont, the hotel was the least talked about part. That's a very good thing. Nothing went wrong, everything was clean, staff was politie, pool was gorgeous, and location was ideal.
Will use again.

This hotel has great areas to gather and discuss upcoming business, current events, and sports. The Hotel looks brand new and the room was confortable and quiet (just like it should be). Unfortunately the night staff (Eddy) was unsatisfactory. I called down to the desk several times and no answer. I called your 1-800 number and they advised me to call the desk with my cell phone. I finally got Eddy and asked for a wakeup call but I did not receive it. It was bad enough that I was already late in the morning, Eddy was not at the front desk to check me out; I had to wait another 10 minutes for Eddy to show up.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times over the last few years and the room rate has increased every year. The rate is too expensive for this hotel. I will be looking for a different hotel in the future.

This hotel needs some work. The walls are damaged from what appears to be water. The carpets are pulling up and stretched. The room was dirty. What more can I say. We were very disappointed in this Sheraton.

The room had a funny odor. Tiles were broken in the elevator. Restaurant service was extremely slow & there was very limited choices for food.

Located half way between the BTV airport and downtown Burlington, this property was/is in desperate need of renovation and refurbishment. The exterior renovation has been completed and it looks good. The room we stayed in was still old. It smelled terribly bad and smoky. We were told that the hotel was sold out and no other room was available. It seemed busy but I did not quite believe it. The already refurbished lobby and lounge look great but the receptionist was not caring about us being unhappy with our room. I was neither impressed with her nor with the room. The club lounge is rather small and breakfast consisted of the bare essentials.

This hotel is in a convenient location, close to the university, hospital, airport, and shopping. It's a very large complex with a lot of walking involved to reach your room. The rooms, while comfortable, are a bit noisy. I was woken one morning by my neighbor's alarm, (my room had no clock!) another morning by next door room service. Fans may be used to drown out the noise, but that is just another noisy option. Housekeeping failed to clean my room one of the 4 days I was staying. Since I travel a lot, I always work out while away. However, this fitness center is one of the worst I've seen at a Starwood property. The treadmills and equipment are all facing a blank wall rather than looking out toward the pool. It was also icy cold in there! Overall, I would recommend this property for the convenience, but there are definitely some details which need attention.

The overall facilities are very nice and the staff is exceedingly friendly. Housekeeping needs some improvement. There was broken glass under the sink credenza and when I moved the ottoman it had a lot of stuff under it. Also the hallway outside our room (199) all the way to the end was full of stuff (lint, toothpicks, small pieces of trash) for the whole 24 hours we were there. Not sure if it is this room only, but you can hear every movement of the people staying above you. That being said, I would still stay there again due to the close proximity to downtown, the friendly staff, and the overall value.

I checked in at 8:15pm,quickly and efficiently, after a 7-hour drive. Unfortunately, after trudging up to Rm #300, I found the room keys didn't work. Three phone calls to the front desk failed to get any staff member to come upstairs with new keys. A trip back to the front desk resulted in an upgrade to Rm #408... and another trudge upstairs to find two more keys didn't work! Received a complimentary dinner while key issue was "resolved". Trudged back upstairs with luggage after dinner to find that two more keys didn't work! Finally got into my room over 90 minutes after check-in. Was this some sort of elaborate prank?? I still can't believe it.

We arrived about 10:00 pm, after a 4 to 5 hour drive from Boston. (We left the Boston area as early as possible. It was rush hour and there was rain.) The reservations had been made two months earlier and the hotel was notified the day before that we would be a late arrival.
The first individual at the check-in desk, neglected to inform us about some important information about our room. (No elevator access at all, our room was on the third floor, and no offer to help with our bags. That said: there would be lots of steps, the hallway was about 90 degrees and the room's air conditioning wasn't working correctly.)
After we went back to the front desk for directions and help, the second individual at the check-in desk was patronizing and rude. We were also told that the hotel was completely full and that there were no other rooms available.
The bellhop - who finally came to help with bags and take us to our room - made an incredibly rude statement to us on the way to our room. Noting that the hotel was full and that we had just arrived, he wondered if we should have considered arriving earlier than 10:00 PM.
This begs the question: does this comment mean that those who arrived earlier that day got better treatment from the hotel staff (and better rooms)?

Room 121 is buried in undergrowth and for the type of stay we had was comfortable, clean and practical, but if I had been on a normal holiday- I would have wanted a view, AND DAYLIGHT. FOOD: Tuckaways - Service lacked Sheraton standard, manager was RUDE and is being reported to World Travel Market Hotel organisers & Vermont Tourism. Items frequently unavailable though food was good quality. Conflicting information about booking tables given. MORNING breakfast area lacked simple menus - buffet provided for OHS was far better. INVOICING - Assumed we had access to e-mail in hotel. WE DO NOT on phone, had to look at hotel system to find bill.

We literally spent four nights and days at the Sheraton Burlington earlier this month. Our son had broken his leg, and we became fixtures there while waiting for his appointments and pending surgery. It is not normally the case that one stays at a hotel the entire time, but we sure logged some hours there.
From the first five minutes, the front desk staff offered extra pillows, got us a wheelchair; everyone bent over backwards to help us in our miserable situation. The hostess at the brunch helped us get take-out to bring back to the room, the staff at the pub was helpful in PT recommendations, and all three bell hops were super helpful in helping us get around including picking us up at the hospital after my son's surgery and we had a flat tire in our car....no, not making this up. The next morning at our departure, the bell man even returned our wheelchair to Fletcher Allen!
The entire housekeeping staff cleaned the room on our schedule, when we could get my son out of the room!
This is the type of service that one remembers. It truly was unsurpassed! Please Sheraton, spend some $$ and upgrade the carpet and facility at this location. It would be well worth your investment. We will be back at the Sheraton for our son's graduation next May. Thank you all for your excellent efforts on our behalf. A+

Hotel is in an excellent location for local sites/downtown Burlington/waterfront. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel has been completely renovated in a very tasteful decor. I would recommend this hotel for business and/or pleasure trips.

Once we reported issues the staff was very responsive, however there were issues. No water pressure, left coffee request on door knob and no one ever picked it up, air conditioning had to be fixed.
