Things I liked: GREAT military rate, bed was very comfortable, room itself was nice and clean, and our dogs were allowed, which was a huge plus.
Things I didn't like: coffee maker was dirty where you put the water and had a hair in it, shampoo and conditioner were mediocre, drink and food prices were outrageous, and very disappointed with the high price of wifi, I'd like to know how they justify the cost per day, when I doubt it costs them very much, if anything, to have it available.

I asked 3 different people on 3 separate occasions to fix the sink in our room AND to turn out the lights in the adjoining meeting room that acted as a bright night light in our room. No one would do this. No one would take responsibility to fix the problems. No one of your front desk people or manager cared enough to respond. The moral of the story is if there is a problem a visitor has at this hotel, NEVER expect anyone to address it and likely only offer a feeble excuse or "sorry"!

We stayed for one night last weekend.
The "basement wing" is dirty, unkempt, rusty, and moldy. There was mold on our windowsills that had peeling paint, plaster literally falling off the ceiling, dirty "crispy" towels hanging in the shower, rusty electrical outlets that were literally falling apart in two pieces, peeling wallpaper, paper-this walls (and someone was vomiting violently at 4am on one side, a baby crying on the other-no joke) , and garbage in the hallway.
It was horrid.

I worked with Sarah Murray to pull our event together. She met our every request happily and was so organized and communicative before during and after. The staff in banquets, led by Jim, were accomodating, kind and helpful. The AV crew was second to none. Right where we needed them with a cable, clicker, and expertise to make everything flawless. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and the shuttle service for our guests was flawless.Thanks to everyone at the Sheraton!

From the rate quote i was given when I asked for the UVM discount being $40 higher than i found on my own. To the room we were given at 8:30 at night being dirty with unmade bed and trash in the room. The room was upgraded to the club floor which was already closed ( open to use but refreshments closed) Tub in my room was very dirty. Walls around the elevator had chocolate or something all over. Used the rest room in the conference center the nect day and all stalls were dirty.

I reserved 2 rooms on the Club Level, we were celebrating my 40th high school reunion, my daughter's 32nd birthday and my 2 grandaughters 1st trip to Vermont. The rooms were outstanding - connecting rooms (king bed for me, 2 double beds for the girls). Most comfortable beds and bedding. The maids kept us supplied with towels galore!
We had a slight problem getting the free Wifi and had to have that adjusted when we checked out, but overall it was beautiful. Loved the pool!

Although we were warned there would be construction, we had no idea there would be hammering and sawing right next door to our room beginning at 7am. I cannot believe this room was rented out given its proximity to the obnoxious construction project.
On top of that, the housekeeper walked into our room in the morning while we were still there.

After a day of being poked ,examined, stressed, and etc. my wife found that there was no hot water for showers or etc. Upon calling the front desk they stated that THEY knew and it was being taken care of. We stayed up as long as we could but still no hot water or options other than to wait to take our showers in the morning. At 6:00 AM we were awaken by a garbage truck which aparently dropped the container it was trying to empty. Yes things do happen, but not unnoticed

The individual fan coil unit (heater) in the room is so old and so loud it made sleep difficult. The noise level is unacceptable for a hotel room. The units should be rebuilt as new or replaced.

stayed here due to a tradeshow 10/22
I was disappointed in receiving an older room...it looked tired...wallpaper, tile bathroom floor need attention. There was also something on bathroom door and on wallpaper near the tp holder that grossed me out.
However with the above said, the food was fine, the employees were great and the rest of the hotel(common areas) looked like they were in tip top shape. The grounds outside were clean.
Vast improvement over last year's visit!

I like staying at the Sheraton: comfortable, friendly, decent rates, etc. However, I have to confess I was very disappointed to hear construction at 8 AM SUNDAY morning, the day of the time change!!! It would seem to me that given daylight savings that one could have waited until 10 (perhaps 11 in the new time) before beginning construction, particularly on a Sunday!!!!

I made our reservation and specifically stated we had two rooms WITH DOGS and one without for our National Specialty Dog Show hosted by your facility. I called back multiple times to clarify everything was correct. I spoke with Ben the first of March to assure all three rooms we booked could be at least on the same floor. My room was on the Club Floor (with dogs) and Ben moved the other two to the Club floor also. I rec'd confirmation of our reservation showing these changes. At our arrival we were all placed on different floors due to availability. We understood and were told by your employee, Bill, that one room could be moved the following day to the club floor to be close to us. We signed a pet agreement for our room (on the Club Floor). We also upon entering our room, called back down to the front desk and asked for a refrigerator as we feed our dogs raw food. The maids delivered a refrigerator a few minutes later - but were frightened by the dogs and my husband had to take it from them and hook it up. TWO days later we were pulled from our dog show and accused by 4 of your managmenet staff of lying about having dogs in our room. They stated that we were told when checking in that we couldn't have dogs on that floor and we swore to them that we would not!! They told us we had to move out of our room. This was the most embarrassing, poor displays of customer service I've ever experienced! If someone had just approached us and explained things in a professional manner - instead of accusing us of lying and trying to pull one over on your hotel, we might have been upset at the poor communication and inconvenience, but we would have been far more understanding that mistakes can happen. I have worked in upper managemnet for many years. Part of our continued training is to have good customer service and recovery. Although, your front line staff is very polite and accomodating, your managment needs a refresher on how to handle situations like this in a better manner.

My room was shabby. The wood on the outside surface of the door was peeling off, wallpaper was puckered, and carpeting was threadbare. It smelled musty. The furnishings looked dated and the room service menu certainly was -- I called in my order and was told that the food service information in my room was "way out of date" as they hadn't had the item I ordered "in a long time". The computers in the "business center" didn't work. This hotel needs a total renovaton.

The staff at your hotel are excellent. I had breakfast in the hotel 2 days and the wait staff were very attentive. I had food and drinks in the resuarant lounge area twice and the service was incredible. Dave in that area made recomendations and did a great job serving me. I'll be back to see Dave again. When you are traveling on bussiness you look for a place to stay where you feel at home, your staff made me feel that way. Keep your staff they are great. Thanks Mike

We checked into the hotel last week for one night. Our room was on the third floor of the C building. The room was fine but when I went to get ice from the other side of the floor I almost got sick from the terrible smell that I encountered. Luckily we were staying on the other side of the floor. Not sure if it was wet carpet or what but it was BAD. Overall the carpet in the hotel is badly stained and in need of replacement.
Not one of my better Sheraton experiences.

During renovations this hotel did not staff appropriately to counteract the loss of the Starwood Preferred lounge during construction. Service in the dining room was very poor at breakfast and the staff could not handle so many additional people. As a Platinum level for many years in the SPG program I am disappointed in this hotel.

We paid over $200 for this room plus an extra $20 for their club breakfast. The room was not worth $200. It was a standard-sized room, the furniture was dated and lacked attention to detail in the maintenance and cleaning. For example, the brass and glass coffee table had crumbs and spills accumulating in the crevice between the glass and frame. Also the air conditioner had a hard time keeping up with the heat which was hard especially since our room was on the fourth floor.
The next morning when we went for our "club" breakfast it was continental - fine, but a half an hour before breakfast was over, they had very little food left because they had run out of most items. So for $20 my husband and I had two bags of trail mix and a couple of cups of coffee. We will never stay at the Sheraton in Burlington, Vermont again!

I used my SPG points for a free night at the Sheraton in Burlington. Although the staff was very nice and accomodating, it did not compensate for the crappy room I was given. I was expecting a 2 double-bed room, so I was thrilled when I was told I had been upgradedto to a 2 queen-bed room. Until I found out that the door key was not working, the phone was not plugged in and the AC did not work. Some nice guy tried to fix everything, but still the door key did not work, and the AC fan (on auto) ran most of the night with enough decibels to wake up an army. As for the hotel itself, no vending machines (on my floor) even if advertised...and a nice pool filled with screaming kids: how about family hours and adult hours? It would also be a small plus to have real glasses in the room, instead of those flimsy plastic glasses.

Only there for one night and a business meeting. Facilities and my room were top shelf. Everything in the room appeared to be recently renovated and everything worked as it should.
I was a little disappointed with the breakfast buffet. I'd give it a C at best.

I was pretty pleased with most of my stay. Do like to commend on a few points. When I made a reservation, I asked to have a refrigerator in the room for medications that have to stay cold. This happened last year also. No refrigerator was put into the room. Another point; your billing is very confusing. The way it looked, I owed you $ 418,00 while I only owed you $ 123.00. Maybe that should be addressed. Overall the staff was very accommodating. Thank you.

I have given up on the Sheraton in Burlington, VT. I have stayed there for years during a conference (at the conf. rate of $200). If you would like to see pictures of my room, you can find them on "Trip Advisor" as I am warning others to avoid the Burlington Sheraton. Holes in the ceiling, patches made out of styrofoam, missing closet door, lock hasp missing from the door and tired beat up furniture (room 188) to name a few...AND this is just inside the room!!!!

The room reeked of sewer gas throughout the stay, and the bed sheets were stained. Candy wrappers were found on the carpet by the nightstand. Very disappointed there was no refrigerator. Matthew and Kelsey were charming on check in, helped me make reservations for future stays and directed me to parking close to my room. Very grateful for the breakfast coupons, service and food selections for this were outstanding

We stayed at the hotel this past weekend booking 2 rooms and paying top dollar !! VERY disappointed the room was very musty smelling , no room service , no elevator and VERY dated. When inquiring if
there was a UVM discount since we were there for my sons family weekend at the college we were told no. After looking online there seems to be a discount that we didn't get. The biggest problem was the price I paid for what I got , will never stay here again !!!!

I've learned over the years not to expect too much from a Sheraton, and the Burlington Sheraton met my expectation.
Bed was truly awful. I would have shifted to floor but didn't bring my sleeping bag.
Hoping for a better bed next time, but I plan to bring a bag with me (my daughter likes the pool).
Food and common areas are both good.
Pool great for kids, but good luck finding a towel.
If you can sleep on a super soft mattress, you should be ok at this hotel.

I was presently surprised at the lobby and staff when first entering into the Sheraton this past weekend. Everyone was friendly and the lobby was clean.
The problem came when I got to my room. The hallways are dingy and the rooms are too. It was clean enough for a one night stay, but the rugs are stained, the door to the bathroom had a dent in it, and it was extremely outdated. What concerns me the most was the sign to the hallway, saying "preferred starwood guest." If these were the preferred rooms, I can't imagine what the other rooms looked like!
I would have expected A LOT more from the hotel based on the price that we paid. I have stayed at many other hotels (I travel at least once a month) and for the price, it was not worth it.
I will not be returning when there are cheaper, cleaner, and brighter options in the area.

The public areas of the hotel were nice, but the room was terrible. The window of our first floor room looked directly into the pool area seating, so the drapes had to remain closed. The 2 small dim lamps did little to light the room - it was dark and unpleasant. Too dark even to read a book. The decor was awful and dated. The one chair in the room was dirty. The only nice feature of the room was the beds which were comfortable and had fresh, modern bedding.

I was supposed to be on the club floor but arrived early and accepted a different room. It was very shabby and needed repairs. The light bulb was out on the desk lamp - I told the people at the desk on the first day but nothing ever happened. And I was there for four days. There were very few plugs in the room and they were mostly inaccessible unless you moved furniture. To be fair, they are planning a renovation. Still, this wasn't a great experience.

The rooms were old and in need of renovation. Fortunately I'm told, a reno is imminent. The first room had mold in the bathroom. We called the front desk and were moved immediately. We had one meal there, food was excellent and service friendly. We were also surprised that there was no hot tub near the pool. Overall, I'd say the problems are all with the facility; not the staff. Staff was friendly and professional. Looking forward to upcoming changes.
