Rated 2 out of 5 Not Up to Sheraton Standards This property needs an overhaul, with respect to both the physical condition and management. Overall, a very disappointing stay. -Poor housekeepiong: mold in shower, air vents covered with lint and hair. -AC rattles, very noisy. No hot water at peak times. -Key card lock constantly malfucntioning -Consumables (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, coffee) not restocked. Requests to housekeeping not honored. -Restaurant management disfunctional - tables not cleared, long line of customers waiting, no staff in sight! May 22, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Check-in was a nightmare I checked in at 8:15pm,quickly and efficiently, after a 7-hour drive. Unfortunately, after trudging up to Rm #300, I found the room keys didn't work. Three phone calls to the front desk failed to get any staff member to come upstairs with new keys. A trip back to the front desk resulted in an upgrade to Rm #408... and another trudge upstairs to find two more keys didn't work! Received a complimentary dinner while key issue was "resolved". Trudged back upstairs with luggage after dinner to find that two more keys didn't work! Finally got into my room over 90 minutes after check-in. Was this some sort of elaborate prank?? I still can't believe it. May 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice, but maybe time for a makeover The room was fine, but the hum from the outside fans on top of the building right outside the room were a bit loud for sleeping. And the HVAC system in the room seems outdated with the external unit. The tv in the room did not work. Heard tv in adjacent room. The club level service personnel were very nice, as was the hospitality of the front desk May 16, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Frustrated This is the 3rd time staying here. All visits were for University of Vermont. Hotel is conveniently located with excellent UVM rate. Unfortunately 2 out of the 3 visits we were put in a "basement" level room which smelled damp & musty. On the 3 rd visit we complained to management and they moved us to Starwoods Guest floor. As a Preferred Starwoods member we questioned why we were not put there at the start. May 13, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This facility needs updating I was not impressed on our last visit. Our room was dated, the air conditioning was erratic, the design of the curtain over the air conditioner was inane, the bathroom was sorely in need of updating and the look of the lobby was comfortable shabby. I really don't believe our room in this hotel was worth the price charged. May 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by dirty and needs a remodel the wallpaper, carpets in the hallways to guest rooms are dirty, torn, and all need to be replaced, the rooms need to be remodeled you need to put more than 2 bath towels and hand clothes in each room the room rates were to high for the condition of your hotel I expect $100.00 return per night back as the rooms were 100 over priced May 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Always a pleasure to stay here The staff is really nice. Beds are so very comfortable. So are the pillows. The heater, however, was really noisy in our room this time. Breakfast is excellent. Staff at the front desk are really helpful. Great parking. Glad to see that a major renovation will soon be happening. May 2, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by HORRIBLE!!! We stayed for one night last weekend. The "basement wing" is dirty, unkempt, rusty, and moldy. There was mold on our windowsills that had peeling paint, plaster literally falling off the ceiling, dirty "crispy" towels hanging in the shower, rusty electrical outlets that were literally falling apart in two pieces, peeling wallpaper, paper-this walls (and someone was vomiting violently at 4am on one side, a baby crying on the other-no joke) , and garbage in the hallway. It was horrid. April 29, 2013
