The room had stains on the carpet and I felt like I needed to wear my shoes when walking on it. The Dresser has to be 30 years old, scratched and marked and two of the three drawer's barely opened. A request for a plugin bar was virtually ignored as I have a breathing machine and needed a extra plug. Was advised the Electrical system in the Hotel is old and can't use a Bar!! This I was told was relayed by the management through the front desk! Room service cleaner left our door ajar and when we returned that evening it was quickly noticed. I reported same to the front desk and they advised that the manager would be notified. Didn't inquire if anything was missing and showed little concern. No follow up by management. Restaurant prices are exorbitant and portions to small. The hotel chain sent a message over a week ago to inquire on my stay and I informed them of what I have written here. No Response.

When I arrived the lobby and check in, they upgrade my room to King suite room in the 21st floor with a separate living room, which is surprisingly awesome. Room is pretty big and view is good.
However, we requested a crib for my 9 months boy when we book the room, customer service said the hotel is out of cribs which is the first time I heard for big name hotels in SPG group. Also my wife feels the water in the washroom is sometimes too cold and sometimes too hot, it burned my wife's hand, although not too bad, but not good experience. The longue is too small, when we went for breakfast, there're full of people there, and the food is lack of varieties, even doesn't have sausage or any kind of meat which surprised me a lot... Parking is $9 which is reasonable.
Overall stay is good, but lack of cribs, lack of breakfast varieties, washroom water temperature problem make my stay not as good as I expected.

I stay at this hotel every time I'm in town for business. Its a great location with many amenities within walking distance.
I'd say the only downfall would be that the rooms don't have fridges or microwaves which is pretty standard for most hotels nowadays.

Had a pleasant stay during a work trip. This hotel is located conveniently near a shopping mall and restaurants. Shuttle service is great.

Everywhere I went there were groups of Syrian refugees. Restaurant, lobby, elevators, outside parking garage... There were always mobs of people just hanging around not doing anything and was very uncomfortable. Kids fooling around in elevators, running in hallways like its their playground!
SPG floor rooms need some work- folds in carpet, chipped paint on closet doors, grout missing in tiles, crooked wall lamps that need updating. I booked this through my company and get reimbursed, so I stayed all 4 nights, but if I was paying myself, I would have checked out and went elsewhere after the first night.
Common areas were poor, no store, restaurant looked shut down with black curtains everywhere.
Outdoor pool, really??? Thank you 1960!!! Was excited to use the outdoor space, but nothing was set up for people to sit out there!!!
As a company with a corporate account I am encouraging them to select a different hotel in the Surrey area to negotiate a corporate rate in the future.

After very stressful business day coming back to our room which was perfectly clean and quiet was wonderful! The staff at this hotel is always accommodating. We stay here twice a year for business and they always exceed my expectations. Thank you!

This is a great hotel. Gave me a suite upon check-in. Great staffs. There is one little thing which hotel staff forgot to do. I just notice that I did not get my "make a green choice" points. If the hotel manager can look into this, that would be really great. I check in on Feb 1, 2016 for 2 nights. Thanks.
