BEST HOTEL FEATURES:
great location for business travellers
great pool, steambath, sauna and relaxation area
HOTEL FEATURES to be improved:
BREAKFAST TOO POOR (no muffins, no danish pastries, no edible croissants, no probiotics drinks AND capuccino only with extra)
GYM: Weights lifting exercise machines UNACCEPTABLE for Sheraton standards & almost no free weights!!!

The hotel is pretty good and I got upgraded to club level which is very nice. However staff starts at 6 am in the club level lobby and love to chat loud when seeing each other in the morning. A little bit more consideration for the customers would be nice especially on a Saturday morning. The carpets were being vacuumed by 8:30 am !!
Planes start flying into Bogota at 6 AM and the hotel is below the flight path.
I stayed 4 nights and most of the staff is very friendly. English language is very limited !!! The guy in the bar cannot keep up with the customer demands so it would be nice to see some help there. No alcoholic drinks at club level !!!

Just finished staying at this hotel for a week on business. I wouldn't call the hotel awful but it does need a few things upgraded to get up to the Sheraton standard. Things that I was irated about was the hotel has no ATM. I got in late one night and couldn't even get peso's to tip my bell hop. The front desk will not convert money because theymdon't carry that much cash on hand. When I called the hotel to tell them I would be VERY late due to,plane delay the operator REFUSED to,transfer me to,the front desk then she could not understand English. I had to three way a call from my daughter-in-law who is from Colombia to make sUre they didn't give my room away. The Hotel enterance.........my driveway to my home is bigger and more impressive (which isn't saying much) Personally beds were way too hard, the shower design for my room #726'was a joke. The shower door only opens halfway and on one side. The shower head is on that same side of the door opening yet the hot/cold knobs are on the other side of the shower. So you have to get in to turn it on and if your not REAL fast you'll get hit with the shower water (see picture below). I understand that not every room was designed this way as we had 7 people here with rooms however THIS one was reserved for PLATINUM members like myself....I pity what the people get that aren't so SPECIAL. OH another thing about my favorite shower. I,leaks and when you get out there is a puddle of water on the floor which is why I presume they put a drian in the floor.....REALLY?? I did have problems with the Internet but they came up and fixed that immediately with a portable hotspot. Breakfast was very impressive in the restaurant or the "club floor".
Bottom line I would rate this hotel slightly below STARWOOD standards and above average for normal hotels because it is very clean

The hotel staff especially in the hotel bar and Chimney Restaurant were excellent. Stay was booked through the SPG website and all requirements were met for a SPG stay. Hotel is denying the SPG stay with no reason given.

front desk staff rather young and poor knowledge of english.
club floor lounge is a joke, for the premium you pay to stay on the club floor you should get better value for money.
i stayed in this hotel when it was still four points and that is a more the servicelevel one can expect, not that of a 5 star sheraton.
although i made my reservation via spg site the hotel should have all my details but still they got several things wrong and kept addressing me as Mrs although my profile clearly states Mr as gender!
my platinum for life status was certainly not recognized and i feel this hotel does not care much about the SPG programme.
i had a late checkout but invoice could not be printed as the system did not allow this?! i was promised to get a copy via email the next day but 3 days later i had to email myself to request the same.
gym and spa area should be neater and better maintained.
only positive thing i can think of is the proximity of the aiport (if you don't mind the noise...)

This hotel doesn't meet the SPG standards. Attitude of the staff is very poor. Even on check-in at the SPG member checking I was directed to the other side in a unprofessional way.
Room was far from clean and under the bed hasn't been cleaned for a long time.
Good is the free parking facility under the hotel.

Lounge room has no staff at night time (9:00 pm).
Dry Clean Service NOT professional or knowledgeable.
Front Desk Staff and Quality Control Staff not serious when it come to guests complains and situations and/or taking it serious and solving these.
They just let it go under the rug, the guest is gone the problem too... They do nothing!
