Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but disturbed sleep Nice hotel. I would have given it more stars but we were woken up 3 times between 4am and 4:30am on our second night there with wake up calls, that we did not ask for. We had 2 small children with us and could have used a quiet restful night's sleep. We had to finally get up, turn lights on and call the front desk to ask them to stop. I think we would have gotten better rest sleeping in our car that night. Other than that, we appreciated the extra space in the bigger accommodations of the room and the view of the mountains. Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has EXCELLENT STAFF The Sheraton Fairplex has bent over and beyond their professional help with me the last 4 times I have stayed there. The staff has been excellent to me and provided me with much help. The hotel is very accommodating and easy to get to with a lot of added comfort. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I personally want to thank the staff for all their help they gave me while I stayed with them 11/9-11/11. I GREATLY GREALTY GREATLY appreciate all your help. Front desk was just amazing especially Melissa C. Thank you thank you thank you. A big thank you to Tim too. We will be back to stay with you all soon. November 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bow Wow This was a business stay. Hotel is a nice property. Staff pretty much below average. Had to call front desk 5 different times to ask then to ask my neighbors to quiet their dogs. They barked and whined all night long.. Staff called me after the call to tell me they handled the problem, all the while the dogs never stopped barking. After the 5th time, I had to go to the adjoining rooms ask ask myself. When I checked out I was asked how my stay was, I told him, and he said thats too bad, and have a nice trip home.... When I got home and I checked my CC info they charged me for bottled water in the room, which I never used. What a crappy thing to do... I will NEVER stay here again. April 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. GM, Timothy is pleasant and demonstrates he really cares for his customers as he stops by and asks if everything is okay. Night shift team member, Danny working front desk alone on 8/22 and had a small line of people waiting to be attended. He was extremely kind, acknowledged everyone in line, and did not let the pressure of the line intimidate him nor did he rush the customers he was attending. We were extremely impressed by his professionalism and his calm and assertive manner to take control of the situation and attend everyone patiently and single-handedly with not rushing. All the customers stayed please with him. He was excellent! All the of the staff was kind and friendly! August 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A very well trained staff This hotel has very well designed suites with doors that close off different sections for privacy. Everything seems very thoughtfully planned. Although I slept in the bed next to the bath, I never heard the plumbing, which was much appreciated. The staff members were unfailingly courteous and helpful. The fact that it is a completely non smoking hotel made me feel safer. I love the fact that the hotel is both pet friendly and very elegant. The piano music heard in the lobby adds to the relaxed and classy atmosphere. I look forward to staying here during my next visit to Pomona, and so does my Doberman! October 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good hotel Nice quiet location. Helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and included a refrigerator, coffee machine and a living room with a nice sized desk. There were some cheerleader camps (one group left and another one came in the next day.. so this appears to be ongoing events) at the hotel that were a bit noisy, so be aware of events like that they may be occurring if lots of activity in the halls is an issue for you. Things calmed down, mostly, at night so it wasn't a huge issue. Their breakfast buffet was pricey.... I think $14.95. More than I want to pay, since my expense account limits me to $10 for breakfast. So, be aware of that. I had to eat elsewhere because of the price. August 5, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Honeymoon Horror!! I provided my son and new daughter-in-law a lovely wedding night at the Sheraton Fairplex in their corner suite, top floor. I ordered and PAID for this room over 2 weeks in advance, including a late arrival guarantee. When they arrived at the hotel, they were told their room was not available, they would need to be "down-graded" to another room. The hotel staff member would not budge. So they called me and I got on the phone with the hotel. They agreed to refund my money and gave them a free breakfast as well. They ended up having a lovely night, but started very disappointing. Rated 4 out of 5 by second time around! For the second year in a row this hotel was the ideal choice for my daughter and I while visiting my grandson at a local college. There was a large dance convention happening at the hotel that weekend, but once on the club level floor, you would not have known that. The club level suites are perfect for a mother/daughter trip and the restaurant in the hotel is quite nice, so much so that we made our way back there for a number of our meals, enjoying one of our lunches on the outside patio. This year, too, the weather cooperated and we were able to relax in the pool area and enjoy that amenity. While there are a number of competing hotels nearby, we suspect that this one will again by our choice when we return to the area. October 28, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by I do not recommend this property We have been SPG Gold Members since 2008 and never have been treated so bad. We got 4 rooms for family, in which we shared with family that Sheraton is nice place to stay. Well, I was very embarrassed. Supervisors/managers spoke and treated us disrespectfully, mislead(lied to) about some charges, But please note that not all Sheraton's are like this one. Just stay out of the Fairplex, Pomona hotel. Rated 3 out of 5 by The Room was very noisy For the two nights, we had a lot of noise I kept trying to figure where it was coming from and after not sleeping, It kept stopping and starting. It was an over worked refrigerator, rumpling. Unfortunately it wasn't until after the manager was off shift that I was able to reach him when he came back and I was back in Sacramento. They said they would check it out. I only hope to visit another time when I can enjoy a mini vacation away from home. When you spend money on a hotel as the Sheraton, you always hope the comfort and rest will be peaceful. June 26, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not sure we'll stay here next year! Had prepaid for two rooms for two nights. The 1st night one of the rooms no one had stayed in and the hotel was actually going to charge us $50.00 more for the 2nd night because one of the rooms was vacant. Keep in mind that the rooms were prepaid in full!!! Then the hotel misplaced our credit card. They had told us that credit cards left in bar go to the front desk for security reasons yet our card was nowhere to be found. Called card issuer and reported card lost/stolen. So have now wasted 20-30 minutes already. Having breakfast and guess what they bring to our table. Yep the credit card that was just cancelled. Talk about lack of communication amongst hotel employees. Hotel is very nice but did not feel like we were very well taken care of at all!!! October 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great staff, something up with rooms When we checked in we were told that the type of room we reserved, 2 Queens, was not available due to rooms being serviced. We were given a King suite which worked out fine and they gave us complimentary breakfast tickets, which was great. Late that night when we came back to our room for the night we realized that the carpets were wet, like they had just been cleaned. The blanket for the pull-out bed was also dirty. Overall we actually had a great stay. The staff was friendly, restaurant was great, and the grounds were beautiful. March 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by A little Disappointing i have stayed here in the past and always been extremely happy. with the exception of Jammy at the front desk the rest of the staff left me Flat. I had problems trying to get the shuttle set up for the airport the person who answered the phone did not know what was going on put me on hold twice and after five minutes on hold i gave up. I still have not received my points for choosing not to use made service. I will be back i hope it returns to my previous experiences. The food at the restaurant was great the service not so much July 31, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs some help We stayed at the Sheraton last weekend for one night. The staff was very nice and attentive, but a couple things about the hotel need some work. The bed sheets in our room were clean, but also some of the roughest feeling I'd ever slept on. We didn't expect that at a hotel of this quality. Also, the breakfast brunch was horrible. The eggs were soggy, the potatoes were cold , the bacon was all under-cooked and even the coffee tasted like it was left over from the night before. Very disappointing, especially for $15 a piece. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great size rooms I've always liked this hotel. We do a lot of work out of the fairplex and stay at the Sheraton. It is very convenient and the staff is always great. A real bonus is the size of the rooms. We like to end the day with a night cap with about 4 or so people and the rooms in the Sheraton are great for it. The separate living area from the bedroom is convenient for the small gatherings. Always look forward to staying here and now the combination of Delta and Starwood points really make it beneficial. Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor customer service I reserved 2 nights and an error was made and the staff advised I was only booked for one night and there would be no room available for me the 2nd night. I was treated patronizingly and I was not satisfied with the explanation of why the booking error (not mine) was just my tough luck. When they did finally agree to let me stay in the room I was told I would be charged approx. $100 more (the walk in rate) which was not acceptable. I know hotels have flexibility in their rates for extenuating circumstances, but all I got was the same statement repeated over and over. I'm not certain any attempt was made to listen or understand me. When I called for the reservation, the dates were repeated back to me as I always ask that they be, so I should not be the one to be asked to be understanding of the staff error. November 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by room cost The day we checked out we were told by one of the girls at the desk we would have been eligible for a discounted rate since my husband spent 23 yrs in the navy and is retired military, there is a different rate. I asked if it could be adjusted (this was before she charged my card) and she said she couldn't but reservations might . I called reservations and she said it had to be done at booking, well if no one advises you of discounts how wasI to know. Not happy, not good cust service January 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by All Staff!!! I have to say I have never had such wonderful help from "Ana" I don't know her last name, she is the manager I believe for the front desk. She was truly remarkable. My son and have had to stay at the hotel for 2 months due to unforseen circumstances. We have paid cash everyday for our room and Ana, helped when there was a slight problem. Also, Stacy has always been very very helpful! Under these difficult circumstances these ladies made it livable!!! We have spent well over $8000. June 26, 2012

We had each staff member of the front desk and SPG lounge ask my daughter about our plans in California. We actually had nice conversations. Great to be engaged by Alex, Daniel and Melanie (sp?) who were all amazing. The accommodations were fabulous and relaxing! February 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to stay The rooms are spacious and very clean. I love that there was a mini refrigerator and a microwave in the room for my convenience. The customer service is great and the hotel staff is very helpful and courteous always. I recommend this hotel to you whenever you're staying in the Pomona area. This hotel is great for events also; I do a lot of event planning at the Sheraton Fairplex and room reservations for guests visitors to my place of employment and we are always very happy. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay - great club loung This hotel is great. The staff is very eager to please. I upgraded to the club lounge and was not sorry. The club room was huge, super comfy, and the breakfast and snacks were great. My hotel suite was very clean and comfortable as well. More pillows that I could dream of. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. I also like that they provided ALL the bathroom options (mouthwash, cotton swabs), not just shampoo and lotion. Great value. July 3, 2013

Front desk check in - "Danny", late in the day - arrive after 9:00 PM - no reservation on record, found the reservation at a neighboring Sheraton - "Danny" called the hotel - updated the registration to the Fairplex and I was in my room within minutes! He was patient with a tired traveler (me), and the line up behind me was getting large - held a professional poise, and customer service focus - serving both the client and the business - August 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Customer Service I had the pleasure of staying here for about 2 weeks February 2014. The customer service is by far one of the best I have ever experienced! When you check-in there is a young man by the name of Danny that will "hand" you your key with both hands! This may not seem like much but it is the little things that count! The smiles at the front desk welcome you coming and going! This is an older property; nevertheless, it is well maintained. The suites are roomy and airy with a wet bar, microwave and refrigerator. The housekeeping staff is courteous and thorough. This is one of the few hotels where housekeeping have a mop, broom and vacuum on the cart! The club lounge is well managed and stocked on a continuum. Tim, one of the club lounge managers personally took the time to have a dialogue with my entire family. He let us know that the fruit served is "home grown" and gave us a tad bit of history about the area. Members of his team Alexandra and Jenny were attentive, remembering our names, printing off directions, and catered to our needs without fail. Even days when the club lounge was extremely crowded they were able to greet and mingle with a smile. We have stayed at numerous SPG properties in the past and to date, this customer service stands out among the best, if not, the best! March 12, 2014
