The best part of this experience was the ocean view and the valet team. The valet team was awesome, polite, helpful and always friendly. The rest of the experience was mortifying, disappointing and embarrassing. When making the reservation asked (gold member status) for early check in due to a wedding we had to attend locally. They told me that can not guarantee but would do everything possible to accommodate the request since it was a valid reason. Well, arrived at 12:30 and was not accommodated, the receptionist was a robot, just telling me that the request was not guaranteed. She told me the room was vacant and that housekeeping was aware. 1 1/2 hours later (2pm) the room still wasn't ready. Finally 2:15 we were able to check in (3pm is check in time) The wedding was 3pm. The room was a old square box cinder block room at the end of the outside walkway. Small, the lamp was falling over the TV reception was terrible and the air conditioner did not cool the room. As I invited a friend who was also attending the wedding to stay I was embarrassed that the room was no better than an old side of the road motel. I did not have time to ask for another room as we had 15 minutes to dress for the wedding in a small room that barely two people could move in with the two full size beds. Such a disappointment. I have never been so upset in my life at Starwoods The photos on the web LIE, my room doesn't look anything like those in on the web. I will never stay at another Sheraton hotel. The room was terrible, the service was less than acceptable at the best. I am not a happy person and the day was ruined, I could not wait to check out. This hotel is an old rundown disappointment based on the room assignment I received. .

The Bathroom had hair behind the door, in the tub & around the toilet. There were beads on the floor near the bed & the telephone was really dusty & gross. The chair at the desk was very worn & ready for the garbage. I used my slippers the entire time, was afraid to walk on the rug. Furthermore there was a musty, cigarette odor that was awful. Since I was only staying overnight, did not bother to change rooms. Assumed the others were no better.

We have stayed there 3 times so far. The location is fabulous, Right on the beach and minutes walking distance to where the action is. Check in this time was quick and easy. The bartenders at the beach bar are fabulous and friendly. The food is five start for being on the beach. Never a problem getting to get someone to wait on you while sunning in the sand. Pay the little extra and stay in the Beach tower, it's well worth it. We traveled with another couple, and whoever got to the beach first got 4 chairs together. One morning the attendant Rudy, would not allow them to get set up because we weren't there, even though they had our room number. I got the chairs together myself and went back to get towels. Rudy refused to hand me towels, said I had to wait till he set someone else us. It would have taken him 10 seconds to hand them to me. It most definitely put a damper on my day. The other thing to watch out for in cleaning service. Although the girl that cleaned our room did a great job, she never showed up till after 4 pm. A few days we were off the beach early than that and didn't have towels to shower and go out. I'm guessing they clean the people that are checking out first, but in any case, they need to hire more people to be able to have your room serviced at a decent hour. The pool is pretty, but it in Dec when we were there, there is no sun by noon so don't pan on laying there. It's not a 5 star facility, but it's clean, has most anything you could want and is on the BEACH. I know we will be back.

Gorgeous ocean view from my room and the staff with whom I interacted were very professional. However, the furnishings are cheap and dated and the bed comfort is marginal at best. This hotel needs a total makeover!

Very disappointed. we booked a non refundable HOTEL room two months in advance required to pay in full. One would assume they were an exceptional facility with such a stringent payment policy. When we got to the hotel it was after the check in time and the rooms were not ready yet. We went to the outside bar to sit and wait; they called us 20 minutes later and we walked back inside to stand in line for another 15 minutes. Afterwards they were unsure where our bags were. I told them who I gave them to and HAD A CLAIM ticket!!!!! the attended at the claims desk hadn't looked through the pile of 6 or so that was right in front of him. We book a hotel room and we were brought to an outside MOTEL style room. They need to say it is renovated to a hotel and there are old motel rooms. we also told the attendant it was our honeymoon several times and they never even acknowledged the occasion with a congratulations! We will not return to this location!

The staff was very welcoming after a long airport day with delays etc. The view from the room was spectacular-ocean and intercoastal! My only regret was that there was no refrigerator in the room and unfortunately, the ice machine on our floor was broken. Due to our very late arrival, we did not feel like venturing to another floor to get ice. We got drinks from the vending machine which could not be kept cold.

I just spent Thanksgiving vacation with some of my family at this hotel, and once again, the staff went above and beyond my expectations. Vivienne, from the VIP desk made sure my niece's 16th birthday was special. Monica and Patrick at the pool bar sang for her and kept us in food and drink. Rudy, Jackson, and Anthony kept us happy at the beach. If you love a relaxing beach hotel, this is the place to visit. The location of the hotel is perfect for families.

I do not know if it is your HR department or your PR department, but ALL of your employees, from the valet guys always ready to give directions - even if I did not ask- to the maid who did our rooms - always willing to serve - all had the best disposition and helped with a smile. I was also the wedding planner for the wedding that took place Nov/30 and the Banquet personnel is also included here. Hats off to you! This is rarely seen nowadays.
