Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Sheraton I've stayed at this property twice and both experiences have been wonderful. The staff have been incredibly friendly, I've been acknowledged as an SPG Platinum member and upgraded, the parking is plentiful and free, the Club Lounge has an excellent selection of food and beverages, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the hotel is in an easily accessible location, just off of I-495. I highly recommend this hotel! July 5, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fine but not worth the price! I was at this hotel for a conference for three nights. Overall, this hotel is fine but I felt for the price it should have been much nicer. The rooms I had were a bit worn down and the heating/air was not responsive to changes in the temperature settings. The staff never recognized me as a SPG and moved my room after 1 night to accommodate a student group without offering any compensation. My second room was not available until after 7:30 pm the second night so I had to wait around in the lobby after the conference was over for the day, not ideal. June 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Staff!!! The staff here is a model for the entire hospitality industry. I have stayed here several times and I wouldn't hesitate to return because I always feel welcome here. I am treated like royalty at the front desk like my business really matters. They are genuinely kind, respectful, and personable, and show that they are ready to serve and are happy to do so by their warmth and their smiles. They are very professional!!! Rated 2 out of 5 by Service Sucks. I called to verify shuttle service as I would not be driving. They stated I could be picked up at the Metro. They never showed and I had to walk in the heat with my suitcases. They then later refused to do any shuttle service to the metro saying that is not a service. Their "green choice" service is a mandatory two days and it does not say that on the card. It also mean absolutely NO maid service, not even the removal of garbage, which is stated in very very small print on the bottom of the card. They overcharged my card saying that it was "just a hold" but never informed me at check in time. I will never stay again. May 29, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Customer Service Room was clean but very, very dark. Bathroom is little. No refrigerator in the room. I called ahead because I am insulin dependent and asked for a refrigerator to be put in my room. When I arrived, no refrigerator. I called the front desk to ask again, the response was "it will be a $15 charge." What? You certainly don't advertise that. My business partner had one in his room at no charge, but I was going to be charged to get one for my insulin. May 23, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by You had me at "bonus points" Offer for bonus points SPG pulled me in. Convenient to Silver line. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Generally the hotel probably needs some updating. Elevators are noisy, so if that bothers you, see if you can stay far away from them (the shape of the building might make this difficult) May 20, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Lackluster Experience I stayed at the Sheraton Tysons for a convention. hThe bed was very comfortable, the shower had amazing water pressure, and the room itself was fine. Unfortunately the good experience ends there. The experience that really bothers me is the treatment I received (and saw other receiving) in the bar/lounge. 1. It was almost impossible to get service. Half the time myself/someone in my party ended up walking up to the bar to order, and even then would wait a long time for any kind of acknowledgement. 2. When reminded about a drink ordered 15 minutes prior, a bartender actually rolled her eyes at me. Front desk staff didn't seem to care when I complained. April 4, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by FILTHY HOTEL 1/2 EATEN FOOD IN FRIDGE.. BUGS IN ROOM. CANDY ON ROOM FLOOR.. OLD ROOM SERVICE FOOD IN HALLWAYS FOR DAYS. ROOM STUNK HORRIBLE AND WAS ON A SEPARATE 3 FLOOR PART OF THE MAIN HOTEL WITH AN ABSURD WALK. GROUP OF 200 KIDS ON MY FLOOR. NO LIGHTS IN BACK PARKING LOT. HOTEL HORRIBLY MAINTAINED.. COFFEE SHOP CLOSED 2 DAYS DUE TO LOW OCCUPANCY?? REALLY? March 16, 2016
