Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice place to stay Our rooms furnishings were very new and nice. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The room was a nice size. We had breakfast at the Hotel which was pretty good. The best was when I asked the Concierge if we could stay longer than the check out time and she gave us an hour and a half after the 12pm checkout time. That was really helpful in our case. Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm and Friendly hotel This hotel is my favorite around this area. It's close to the shopping malls, restaurants and where I work. The new Metro Silver line is just a stone's throw away which makes it very convenient to travel to DC. The hotel staff is great -very helpful and always smiling. I would recommend this hotel to all friends and co-workers! Keep it up!! August 14, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Have suggestion Was informed upon checking in that I needed to walk back out to my rental car and place a parking receipt on the dash to avoid having car towed........I am a frequent guest at this hotel (Platinum) - suggest providing me with a pass that I can carry with me or risk losing my business as I find this a HUGE inconvenience. Rated 5 out of 5 by 5-9 August 2014 My stay at this Sheraton was great. As usual the staff was very responsive, polite and professional in every way -- the main reason I choose this hotel for my multiple trips back to the Tysons Corner area. (The new metro stop close-by makes it that much more convenient to the DC/NoVA area.) There was a lot of activity in the hotel during this stay -- a huge pen convention which brought a lot of people into the hotel, but also created large crowds in the lounge area which overwhelmed the one staff member there as he tried to accommodate many specific requests of some of the people. (Not his fault, but he was very busy.) Also, this stay there seemed to be more loud door closings later in the evening, and a lot more loud conversations audible through the walls and doors... maybe because a lot of the people from the pen convention were older and/or spoke with loud voices...? Rated 4 out of 5 by Good experience marred by hallway noise Overall, the stay was good. The staff was helpful. Unfortunately, there were lots of door slams, either from the staff door, or from other guests. The floor ice machine was loud and probably needs a door in front of it. Toilet flushes from neighboring rooms were also an issue. The hotel is a good one, and with fixes of these issues could be a great one. August 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A good stay We stayed at the hotel when we visited DC with some friends. We find the room while spacious, the temperature control was ineffective, which caused very cold at night. Club lounge was superb for their food, drink and staff. Check-in and check-out were speedy and courteous. Recommend. August 8, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Went the extra mile. The room was lovely and comfortable. We had trouble viewing our special event that was being streamed on the TV. They made every attempt to fix the problem, but were unable. The hotel was full so we couldn't move, but they did comp us brunch the next day to make up for the inconvenience. Very nice. Rated 3 out of 5 by Average We stayed in a tower room. Pluses: fast elevators, indoor pool water actually warm. engineering/maintenance response timely and friendly, lovely bedding. Minuses: bed too hard for comfortable sleep, THIN, THIN walls, LOUD, LOUD toilets (can hear them flushing in other rooms), fridge rental extra ($15 per stay) and no guarantee of availability, hot tub water the same temperature or COLDER than pool water, tower design puts EVERYONE close to elevator or ice machine which can be convenient but also noisy. Rated 4 out of 5 by front counter Front desk personnel need more training. It took multiple passes at getting my invoice correct. The transaction was a very easy - remove the cot because one was never needed. So they took it off from one day..... but there were three nights. So they had to do the fix over again. WAY too much work for them. Also, they didn't tell me the total price, just handed a receipt. Had they told me the invoice total, I would have known it was wrong and they would have not printed it and completed the transaction and just fixed it right at the beginning. It happened twice. Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice but Average There was nothing bad with this stay, it just didn't stand out as above average. The room was clean with the exception of my trash can by the desk not being emptied before I checked in. There was a piece of masking tape on the inside window frame that had obviously been there a long time as it had become dry and brittle from the sunlight. The room was very dark. I don't know why Sheraton is obsessed with the color brown. When I looked in the bathroom mirror, it was like looking at a sepia photograph with all the brown tones in the room. August 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff I have been staying at this hotel for over a year and the staff is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Leo at Brix and Ale always makes our team's stay fun. Although I tell him, it will be more fun if they add good sushi in their menu which we know is beyond his control. Jose at the lounge on the 24/F is the best. He greets people who come in by their names. He remembers everyone and knows what they need! He makes this place home. The shuttle drivers in the morning are great. Kevin who assists with luggage also is dependable. Ashleigh at the front desk and the manager in the morning are always ready to help. August 2, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Room maintenance In Room 117 the bathroom exhaust fan did not work (or was disconnected?) and the bathroom got very foggy so that I couldn't see in the mirror. The sink drained very slowly due to the stopper barely opening. Overall lighting in the room was poor but especially the bathroom. July 30, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay!! This is my favorite hotel in Tyson's Corner. The staff are so helpful and friendly in every way from the time you check in to the day you check out. They always greet you with a smile and go out of their way to help you in any way possible. The rooms are spacious, super clean and the beds are just heavenly. The hotel is also located very close to the shopping malls. Also the Metro (Silver Line) is just a stone's throw away so getting into town is a breeze!!
