Rated 2 out of 5 by hotel I had the impression I was bothering the employees when I asked for something. the breakfast was horrible, as was the wait staff. I left the building and drove to a McDonalds in the city rather than eat there the second morning. the only outgoing and friendly people were the Valet and shuttle driver August 5, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Our Stay We were very pleased with our weekend stay at the Sheraton at Station Square, Pittsburgh, PA. When we made our reservfations we requested a river view room and that is just what we got. It was beautiful and will definitely ask for this view again on our next visit. August 11, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Remodeled Rooms Shortfall Need more hooks in the bathroom. Some rooms have no hooks in the bathroom Closets in the remodeled rooms are not deep enough for a full sized coat hanger. Therefore you have to turn your clothes sideways before closing the door. Glass covers on the desk and night stands do not have the non slip disks between the glass and wood. Therefore it is easy for the glass to move and slide off. May 18, 2014

We had a wedding on the clipper and the two places worked hand and hand with reservations and making our wedding extremely easy, Staff was always willing to help and Toni the van driver was more than helpful with picking us up at the salon, thanks Toni! Rated 3 out of 5 by Experienced some problems. Our food was very good; however, there were no sugar/creamer packets left in the room for our morning coffee in our room. Had difficulty using the room key. Also, our parking receipt was unreadable when trying to validate. The clerk in lobby was unable to help us. August 8, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Below SPG Standards I recently stayed at this hotel and upon entering the room received a smokey smell. This cleared up somewhat after the AC ran for a while, but it was still mildly present. We had unpacked for the most part when I also discovered the bathtub still contained dirt from the last guests' stay. I brought this up to the front desk and they were fairly responsive. Since we we had unpacked, it seemed a hastle to move all our stuff to another room so we did not. We were instead told a make good adjustment would be made to our starwood points. I hope to receive this in the near future... We also made use of the pool faciilities which were fine, but with small kids had to be careful. I am told the pool will undergo renovations and I hope this also means fixing some sharp concrete edges around the pool that one could easily get cut on. Overall below average for a starwood propert though the lobby area is wonderful including the bar there. The staff there was friendly and responsive even though we had energetic children in tow. Rated 4 out of 5 by Baseball The room was nice and the baseball package was great, but the AC in our room wasn't working right. We went to bed with a room temperature of 71 (the wall stat said 68) and I turned it down 5 degrees. We woke up to a room that was 74 degrees. We did not rest well. The baseball package wasn't right and getting it corrected was a hassle. July 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by front desk I believe the front desk gives the first impression of the hotel. If the front desk people are sharing jackets, they shouldn't. The man's jacket was much to big and the woman's jack too small. Didn't leave a nice impression. They were both friendly and responsive, however. August 3, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Great location, terrible room. The further you get into the hotel, the more disappointing the stay becomes. The hotel lobby, front desk and elevator are nicely maintained, but there wasn't anything in my room that wasn't chipped, stained or dented. I was upgraded to the parlor king suite. The bathroom smelled like mold. My girlfriend's first reaction to the room was to check for bedbugs. I was embarrassed. May 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by this hotel has great staff at Front Desk -The bed & bedding were very comfortable. -Noise from constantly passing trains reduced sleep quality throughout the entire evening. -Debra at the Front Desk was extremely helpful and made me feel appreciated for my decision to stay at the hotel. -Wallpaper on 11th floor hallway appeared tattered. -Pipes on the ceiling of the 11th floor hallway were encased with rain gutters? Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location We enjoyed our stay as it was very well located. Room smelled like someone had smoked in it but we dealt with it. We dId not think the bed was comfortable. The air condititioner ran often (shutting on and off frequently) but did not effectively cool room. As a result we did not sleep well. July 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by do not publish Nice stay. We had prepaid the room but found when I got home that we had been charged twice for the room on checkout. I called the same day and spoke with Amanda (Income Auditor) from the billing Dept who resolved the issue the next day as she promised and also followed up with me via e-mail. Many kudos to her! Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Hotel But Music Too Loud Very comfortable rooms and nice public areas but the music through the PA system in the public areas was way too loud. I called the manager and it seemed he turned it down for a while but the next morning in was blaring through the speakers at 6:30 AM. Very annoying. August 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by UNorganized mess This hotel should be used to accommodating a large number of guests coming and going, but that did not appear to be the case. Upon arrival we joined about 30 other guests whose rooms were not ready. We were all trying to check in for weddings that were scheduled to begin in a couple of hours. The staff did get us all into rooms, but we were all rushed to get prepared. In speaking with other guests that had arrived the previous day for the rehearsal events, I found that they had the same experience. While waiting for our room, I noticed a number of guests that were confused as to which elevator to take to their room. They had not been told by the front desk which floor their room was on and which elevator serviced that floor. That should be simple customer service. We did find the room to be clean, accommodating and comfortable. We were disturbed a number of times through the night by other guests returning to their rooms after an evening of partying. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Experience I stayed for 2 nights for a conference. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, location great. Although all the surrounding restaurants were chains, you were walking distance to many local options. Walking distance to downtown cultural district and inclines. July 29, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Good location BUT.. The location is great with nice view of Downtown but the train that goes by is a bit noisy. I really was surprised that the condition of the rooms and even the hallways were not great. I expected more from a Sheraton hotel. I stayed at 2 other hotels that same week and the conditions of the room were better for half the price. I would try a different hotel next time. April 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Hotel The hotel was great, close to many Pittsburgh attractions and the hotel shuttle made it easy to get to a lot of them. The river view rooms are well worth the extra money. The only thing negative I have to say is that the hotel parking was a little pricey. July 29, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Make sure you get a correct response. The location is wonderful. The room was nice, but the air conditioning never turned off. The staff was wonderful until we went to leave. We were told our parking would cost $21. Before we checked out, we asked if our car had to be removed from the parking lot at a certain time so we wouldn't incur any other fees. We were told that we had until 6 PM to move our car before we would begin incurring more fees. So we attended our daughter's soccer game at Highmark Stadium and when we went to leave the parking lot we were told we had to pay more than the $21. We were also told by the front desk staff that there was nothing they could do about it. First off, we did nothing wrong yet we were being penalized for misinformation that was given to us by a Sheraton front desk staff person. Totally unacceptable. Now we were being told that because we didn't use the in/out service we had to have our car out of the lot within 24 hours which of course had passed. We really want to come back to Pittsburgh, but this has soured our entire trip since it was the last thing that happened prior to us leaving. What ever happened to customer service?? There were a few other disappointments, but nothing that turned us off as much as this. August 24, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Very noisy at the moment I did not know that the hotel was right by the train tracks. Although I could bear with a few train runs if the room price was right. Worst of all, we were told at check-in that renovation was going on. After two sleepless nights we were not able to sleep in because there was drilling in the room right above ours around 8 a.m. June 11, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Magnifying mirror in bathroom As I get older, these magnifying mirrors are great to help apply make-up. However, the mirror probably was installed by a guy. It was too high for me to even use and the height was not adjustable. In addition, one of the light bulbs in the bathroom was out so it was difficult to see to put on make-up. July 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Staff A quick overnight-we visit Pittsburgh several times a year-never stayed here before but quickly moved to the top of my list-the staff was exceptional-the room and view great-location shopping and restuarants within walking distance-you can park your car until you leave-walk many places and the shuttle service can do the rest-Can't wait to return! Rated 3 out of 5 by The staff was not friendly Our checkin person was extremely rude and unwilling to listen to our needs. Check in was at 3:00 and the room wasn't ready till 3:45. The clerk was suppose to call us when the room was ready and never called, we happened to check back and see how much longer it would be. Our room had a sewer back up odor in it. June 24, 2014
