Sure this hotel is not in a touristic area and it does not have a water front but it has some of the best staff I've seen in a hotel. The best thing about the staff, and management, in this hotel is they listen to the client. Not long ago I wrote a note to the manager complaining about an issue. I got an answer the day after and sure enough, the issue was solved. I tend to use this hotel a lot and I think a lot of people who discovered it, tend to do the same because I see a lot of familiar faces when I am there. People only return to a hotel because it is good.

The bed would have required some deep de-odorization (smell of previous guests). Cleaning of bathroom was not systematic.
This being said the reception and concierge are of valuable support. Special thanks to the wellness team.

Actually I'm choosing hotel because of the great location in Dubai, I always find the Front Desk staff are helpful and friendly.

I've been coming to the hotel for years. I had heard of the noise coming from a discotheque from colleagues who had stayed but never had experienced it myself. Until this stay. The constant thumping lasted until late at night (early in the morning). Never mind that I did not ask to be moved. How can a hotel continue to charge guests if this problem persists year in and year out?

Rated 4 out of 5 Limited WiFi
This hotel is nice, but my colleagues and I groused about the 4 hour limit on the WiFi and the weak signal in some of our rooms. On the plus side, the lounge downstairs was a very comfortable place to stsay while working online, and there are even a few desktops there. We stayed at Four Points by Sheraton the next trip through Dubai, in large part because that property has unlimited WiFi, but the trade off is that there was no lounge there.

The Sheraton Deira is like a second home. I visit there regulary and am immediately recognized and greeted by a large number of the staff there which makes one feel welcome. The staff are also very quick to respond to requests and are kind and polite. I regularly recommend the hotel to those I know.

I would not recommend this property, as they enjoy insulting SPG Gold guest (and no one has the decency to intervene, not even their General Manager or Front Office Manager). After complaining to SPG, they corrected the light which was hanging in my room, and it took them 3 days to get me a rubber mat in the bath tub). Even after staying 5 nights in this property, they did not correct the water pressure in the shower. They repeatedly kept arguing that the water pressure in the shower is as per SPG standards, which I don't agree (as I have been an SPG Elite tier member from over 6years now)
