Rated 1 out of 5 by Not to SPG standards Stayed in this hotel twice in the last 4 weeks as it is the only SPG option west of Boston. The hotel claims to have been recently remodeled but it is closer to a Red Roof than one of the newer Sheraton's. Staff was overwhelmed and although acknowledged SPG paltinum stauts, found it easier to put me in a room off the lobby that was part of convention meeting rooms, rather than override the computer for SPG level. Doors dont close properly, fould odor in the hotel. Starwood needs to close theis for a year and do a complete rebuild rather than room b room remodels. November 16, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Staff is completely disinterested in guest satisfaction. This hotel is mediocre itself but the staff is beyond disinterested. No recognition for platinum at check in or offer of platinum check-in options. Took 2 tries to get my key to work. Food service was slow. After check out called for copy of folio and it took 2 days to receive. The front desk here says they cannot email one (unlike every other SPG property I've ever stayed at) so you have to wait for some bookkeeper to email. Sent him email requesting why their system is different then other SPG properties and no response or apology from multiple inquiries nor would he write back with the General Managers email. Disgraceful treatment for any guest let alone a platinum March 10, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Housekeeping Services Housekeeping in Room no - 376 on 30th Aug 2014 - Two housekeeping ladies came in . As they entered the room, one was wearing rubber gloves which are used for cleaning toilets and bathtubs. She did not care to remove them while making the bed which is very unhygienic.The sheets were not changed even after 2 days. The ladies did not clean the sink, the toilet and the bathtub . Also they did not care to vacuum the room. Did not care to dust the furniture in the room. I am very disappointed with the housekeeping in this hotel. Making a bed with dirty rubber gloves on is very unhygienic. Once they are done cleaning somebody's bathroom, they should remove their rubber gloves before entering another room . August 5, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by A horrible experience! We checked-in our room almost around midnight on the 19th of July, the first room we went in is not cleaned - bed are used, bathrooms are dirty. Then we were given a second room, when we got in, there was a fa blowing the carpet in the middle of the room and the carpet was wet. So we were finally given a third room. The room was at least clean, but many facilities does not work, including the ironing board. The second night, around 5:30AM, the fire hydrant went off, all the guests went out, and there was no explanation given later on. No appologies given for any of these horrible experiences, certainly won't be back anymore. July 23, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel should not be a Sheraton This is by far one of the worse Sheraton hotel properties. The reception was friendly (this is the only positive). The elevators took me 2 minutes (not kidding) to get to the 6th floor. At first the door didnt open (there was a hotel engineer in the elevator with me...he said the elevators are temperamental...) The bathtub faucet was leaking (could not get it to stop), and the a/c unit in the room made a very loud rattling noise all night long. This hotel has not been refreshed...it severely needs it as well. The lounge said they could not get any more fruit because the lounge was closing in 30 minutes... just all around, not acceptable. Rated 3 out of 5 by Not happy with Mgmt Traveling on business - I wanted the lowest rate to be submitted for expenses so did the prepaid room. A few days later, the company I was visiting told me they had a corporate rate which was $54 less expensive than my prepaid rate. I called and asked if anything could be done such as perhaps getting the difference as a voucher towards the restaurant or room upgrade and was told no. I called and left a message requesting the same with the hotel general manager but my phone call was never returned. Even if the answer would be no, a return call would have been appreciated June 22, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Met my expectations I stayed here for one night while attending the Supermegafest conference. I used the train to get to this hotel from Boston and was worried that they would not put pick me up on time. I called when I arrived at the Framingham station. They promised that someone would pick me up very soon. The driver arrived in 10 minutes and I was brought to the hotel around 10am. I was hoping that a room would be ready for me but I had to wait until 1:30pm. They were super busy, so I wasn't surprised. This was my second stay at this hotel and the staff is definitely friendly and accommodating However, from my room, I heard a lot of noise from the corridors and others rooms. I wish they would renovate the doors and door frames. Both were cheaply made. The WIFI worked super fast in the room. The restaurant was too crowded, so I did not eat the hotel during this visit. Rated 3 out of 5 by Bit of a mixed bag... The hotel is a little dated - the lobby has been updated and is nice, but the rooms and elevator cabs feel a little tired. That being said, for the price, we were pleased. Service was spotty. For example, we were given access to the Club Lounge, which was nice. The attendant there was excellent, extremely friendly and went out of her way - during Thanksgiving, it should be noted! Also, we needed a mini-fridge brought up into our room. The front desk was very responsive and had someone there within 20 minutes. That being said, the maid skipped cleaning two nights in a row, despite us not having opted into the green program. We complained and the customer service person gave us some points, which was nice. Just would have rather had the room cleaned without asking. All-in-all it was a bit of a mixed bag. We were glad we stayed there and were well rested, but in the end it could have been better. November 30, 2014
