Rated 4 out of 5 by staff can do better Despite staying at this hotel multiple times (~20) and having my employees also using the facility for extended periods of time, there was little care and recognition from the staff. No connection made with the frequency of my stays and no effort to provide the best room possible. Overall still ok, since the Sheraton product in the USA is fairly standardised and Ann Arbor is a great location August 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ignored my reservation request I specified " Away from Elevator" when I made the reservation. However, a room (1110) right near the elevator was assigned to me. When I complained to them, all I got is "Sorry, all the rooms are sold out, please check back tomorrow". Finally got the room switched next day. Disappointing service..... August 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than some other places This Sheraton has refrigerator, microwave and lock and closet space. We were upgraded to the 6th floor, which was nice! We got to enjoy the club lounge.The only thing I would say to improve is the food was ok, not really wowed! When we checked in, housekeeping entered without knocking, which should not happen at all due to privacy and security purposes. The hotel is clean and well presented though. August 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Underwhelmed Having spent Thursday night at Sheraton Heathrow hotel, Sheraton Ann Arbor was underwhelming. The pool is small, the fitness center inadequate, the club lounge, well, is it ok to say a joke? For the price of $400, a lot more was expected given competition in the area August 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Club level amenities need improvement The good: Our club level room was a good size, well kept and clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was responsive and very polite. Needs improvement: 1) the tissue and toilet paper were practically "industrial grade" - very rough; 2) the breakfast offering is fairly spartan - a lot better than nothing, and the staff were great - but no eggs, no cheese, almost no offerings with much protein; 3) while the break room is open 24/7, the computer did not connect to the internet, and there was minimal food and refreshments outside breakfast and the 5:30 to 8:30 PM period. Rated 2 out of 5 by Loyal customers no longer loyal After 3 years of staying here and enjoying it, this stay was less than satisfactory. We had to beg for housekeeping. It took frequent requests to get a working hairdryer and some fresh towels and coffee. The front desk was too disorganized to help out for 2 days running. We had numerous assurances after the first day that this wouldn't happen again, but the second day we were in the same boat. This is WAY too expensive of a hotel to ignore its customers so badly. We finally accepted the credit for one night's stay after all the trouble, but the manager didn't even have the courtesy to talk to us personally. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a reliable place to stay while they are on a busy schedule. It just might take a few days to straighten out any problems that arise. Next year we'll stay somewhere else. July 25, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by poor laundry The poor laundry service really ruined the experience of an otherwise decent hotel. I stayed for an extended period of time and as such had to do laundry about ten times during my stays. 9/10 times it did not arrive on the same day despite the hotel offering a same day service. It became so inconvenient that at one time, the hotel still had my laundry when I checked out. Further, for some reason the top buttons of two of my shirts were damaged, and the third replaced with a completely different button. If you plan on staying here, try not to use the laundry. Rated 4 out of 5 by Recent Visit No bar soap in our room upon check-in. I asked house keeping in the hallway but she had none on her cart. We also had to ask for another roll of toilet paper. 5th floor..... Club Lounge just ok. Only 1 hot food item. Refrigerators are noisy and I could feel the heat on our backs as we were seated close to them. July 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel has a good transportation service The hotel is modern. Drawback are the dark brown colors and the dingy smell in elevator and room. TV selections are not the best. Front desk staff not friendly, except Travis. Shuttle staff makes up for short comings. Jim and Brandon are great. The breakfast is great and the food is hot but a bit costly. Breakfast staff is good. Restaurant staff is terrible. The soup was good but TOO SALTY. July 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Drivers. Housekeeping & Dining GREAT! I will start with the one thing I did not like - front desk staff. Not helpful, friendly or interested in our concerns. BUT, everyone else at this hotel, and the facilities, were wonderful. The shuttle drivers - Breandan and Jim - were prompt and friendly and knowledgeable, and could not have made our journey more smooth. Housekeeping does a great job - the room was immaculate, and the common areas were always clean. The bar/restaurant had great drinks and food, and the staff was charming and attentive. Thanks to almost everyone for a successul and comfortable business trip. July 21, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great service The hotel provided a great service in transporting me by shuttle to downtown Ann Arbor during the Arts Fair. Despite the traffic, the drivers (especially Breandon) were always good-natured and willing to literally "go the extra mile" to provide excellent customer service. We'll definitely be coming back! Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent service & facilities for families I stayed at the Ann Arbor Sheraton while visiting my sister. I had questions about the room and various other needs I would be having as I travel with a toddler. The man who helped me with my reservations was extremely kind, warm, and left an outstanding impression. Customer service is often overlooked and under-appreciated, but the service here was stellar. Prior to the stay, there was a miscommunication on the reservation, and the hotel manager was quick to help and made our stay wonderful. The facilities were very clean and updated. I would highly recommend getting the Club Access room, as it allowed for us to put our toddler down early, while also having the Club lounge to hang out and still be very close by. Will definitely be staying here for future Ann Arbor visits! July 9, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Exemplary Staff Staff at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel deliver extraordinary hospitality. During our 3-day conference, staff were courteous and responded promptly to all our needs. They were close to silent in (re)staging the rooms between our meetings. Our guest rooms were clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. All of the meals were delicious. I will not hesitate to stay at this hotel again for business or pleasure. June 20, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Internet? I have stayed in at least two dozen different hotels during the past year and have NEVER experienced as poor a "WIFI" operation as I did at this hotel. Not only was it impossible to use the internet--I literally never could get a connection to work from my room OR the lobby(!)--my cell service was extremely weak within the hotel. The staff was first-rate and the accommodations were otherwise fine. June 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable stay, great staff. This hotel is great for a quick stay in Ann Arbor. It's located about 2-3 miles away from the downtown, but they offer a shuttle that takes you anywhere within the city limits--a great amenity! The staff was wonderful and the rooms were very comfortable. The drinks at the bar were a bit pricey ($7 for a draft beer); would have been nice if the happy hours offered more than just one drink special. May 27, 2014

The hotel was at capacity, but still managed to treat us well and exceed all expectations. Manager Steve S. was terrific when one of our family had a health emergency. They went above and beyond. Rated 5 out of 5 by We had a great experience We booked two rooms for a special anniversary. We were treated super special. The check-in at the front desk was very very nice; real friendly. We were given an upgrade due to the special anniversary. The staff at the bar for drinks before dinner was pleasant. Breakfast buffet the next morning was very good. So, all in all, we will definitely come back. May 13, 2014
