Rated 1 out of 5 by This one of the worst property This property is poorly kept. The cleanliness was the worst I have ever experienced. The room that we were assigned had unchanged bed linens, extremely dusty, and poorly cleaned bathroom and sliding door glass. The bed linen had body hair from the previous guest. The bathroom had hair on the floor , room and hallway smelled musty. The sliding door was so grimy you could not see out, along with a disgusting balcony. As a business travel (75 nights) leisure(15 nights) this is the worst stay I have experienced in 25 years. May 17, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good hotel for short people I had a king room on the club level. The shower head was lower than any other hotel I've stayed at. I am just over six feet, but had to bend over considerably to get under the shower head. The club lounge offered decent a decent breakfast and evening snacks. Parking was free but it was difficult to find a space. May 19, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth the money After taxes our room came to almost $200 dollars for a king bed and a pull-out sofa bed. I have 2 teenage girls. When I asked about a pool - yes you have one but how nice - it was empty when we stayed. There was also no WIFI (unless you pay $10 a night) - no breakfast unless you pay $10-$15 a person . The toliet paper was as generic as they could find and the towels were ratty and frayed . We had one small shampoo and condidtioner in the bathroom for 4 people. Then we were told we could use the other hotel's pool - we go over there and it is so cloudy and murky the girls didn't want to get in it. The only thing decent about this place was the pillows. Rated 5 out of 5 by THIS HOTEL AND HER STAFF JUST EXCELLENT I AM SHORT OF WORDS ON HOW TO EXPRESS MY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE IN THIS HOTEL ESPECIALLY THE TIMELINESS OF RECEPTION GIVEN BY THE STAFF. ALSO THE READINESS TO PUT THINGS IN PLACE WHEN A NEED ARISES. THE SHUTTLE SERVICES. INDEED, EVERYTHING IS QUITE FASCINATING. April 19, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Service Ordered room service at 8 pm...waited an hour & was told they'd send it up....waited another hour...no food...when I called front desk, they explained that hotel was full and only one person working room service..why didn't they know that they were going to be busy? Don't they check their reservations? Terrible service, cannot get connected to wifi either...worst Sheraton I have ever experienced!!! November 1, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not recommended The hotel is farily dated, but otherwise looks OK. I could not get the internet to work in my room and the staff was not able (or willing) to resolve. The workout room was small and the equipment was in a poor state of repair. Some of the treadmills made so much noise, it sounded like they were ready to fall apart. January 11, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Guest Service I stayed at this hotel and had ordered room service and expected it to arrive in the time slot I had checked since I was on a time schedule. It did not arrive so I called after an additional 5 minutes and they said it would be up in 10 -15 minutes. Needless to say I had to cancel and take time to pick something up on the run. Also the lobby is very nice, but the rest of the hotel is 1970ish looking and the halls smell. February 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful hotel and friendly staff We stayed here a couple days after we had to work in Godfrey, Illinois. We usually stay at the Sheraton City Center, but we will stay at the Chalet from now on. They had lots of balcony rooms and the property was beautiful. We brought our dog and they accommodated for him nicely. The room service was pretty good, I was disappointed in the shrimp scampi, but the steak sandwich and the burger were very good. They didn't have mini fridges in their rooms, which was a minus, and I hit the bed frame that was sticking out 3 times, resulting in a bad bruise on my ankle. We were also disappointed that the pool was ice cold, we had been planning on spending most of our time there. But overall the room was spacious and well decorated and the bar was nice too. We will stay here again. August 30, 2012
