After taxes our room came to almost $200 dollars for a king bed and a pull-out sofa bed. I have 2 teenage girls. When I asked about a pool - yes you have one but how nice - it was empty when we stayed. There was also no WIFI (unless you pay $10 a night) - no breakfast unless you pay $10-$15 a person . The toliet paper was as generic as they could find and the towels were ratty and frayed . We had one small shampoo and condidtioner in the bathroom for 4 people. Then we were told we could use the other hotel's pool - we go over there and it is so cloudy and murky the girls didn't want to get in it. The only thing decent about this place was the pillows.

Ordered room service at 8 pm...waited an hour & was told they'd send it up....waited another hour...no food...when I called front desk, they explained that hotel was full and only one person working room service..why didn't they know that they were going to be busy? Don't they check their reservations? Terrible service, cannot get connected to wifi either...worst Sheraton I have ever experienced!!!

The hotel is farily dated, but otherwise looks OK. I could not get the internet to work in my room and the staff was not able (or willing) to resolve. The workout room was small and the equipment was in a poor state of repair. Some of the treadmills made so much noise, it sounded like they were ready to fall apart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Caveman2 A pleasant surprise.
Prior to attending a convention we were registered to attend at the Westport Chalet, I read the reviews posted by prior guests. Some of those reviews are downright nasty and caused me a bit of apprehension.
I am happy to report that our entire experience with the place exceeded our expectations. The staff (from housekeeping to management) was admirable, caring, and efficient in carrying out their duties.
My only dissatisfaction was with what I consider an exorbitant price for the breakfast buffet. That dissatisfaction was eliminated by a one-time complimentary breakfast offered by management.
I feel it appropriate to mention that my reason for the stay at the hotel was for a convention for blind people. I am sighted and was blessed to see the compassionate manner in which various staff members dealt with the special needs of the blind attendees. Superb!

Staff was friendly, but accomodations were disappointing when compared to how wonderful everything looked on the website. Suite did not have a fireplace as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jimmy A very nice stay
Stayed with my dad ay this hotel.
The club lounge is small but the food offering was solid good, and the lady in the lounge was really friendly and helpful!
A great location near the airport.
The price is always very good.

Loved the location, hotel was nice. Property was a little old but well maintained! Staff was great! We needed to change rooms as we added an extra person and they could not have been more helpful. Gina at the front desk was GREAT!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jackie51 This one of the worst property
This property is poorly kept. The cleanliness was the worst I have ever experienced. The room that we were assigned had unchanged bed linens, extremely dusty, and poorly cleaned bathroom and sliding door glass. The bed linen had body hair from the previous guest. The bathroom had hair on the floor , room and hallway smelled musty. The sliding door was so grimy you could not see out, along with a disgusting balcony. As a business travel (75 nights) leisure(15 nights) this is the worst stay I have experienced in 25 years.
