Rated 2 out of 5 by Like a Sheraton of Yore Not a great hotel. One of the few un-renovated Sheraton's. Dirty. And a bunch of little things that just bug you: 2 room lights were missing switches, Window unit AC means half of room is hot, half of room is cold, Door handles on stairs are off, stains everywhere. Feels old. I've stayed at many Sheraton's that were older that felt newer. Needs attention. But, in fairness, its a lower category point redemption, so I guess you get what you pay for October 20, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Club Level hotel room We stayed one night prior to our flight. Room and bath were nice in both size and condition. Carpet in the hallway, especially in front of the Club floor lounge area was stained or appeared very dirty. The door to our room could not be closed quietly. The food and drinks in the Club level lounge were good but some had been removed early. People at the front desk were nice. However, upon returning home, my credit card charge for one night was pending with two different amounts on my statement. This was quickly resolved after a call to the hotel accounting office. Also, after having read online that the shuttle does not run to the airport before 10 am, I was informed that it does in fact run 24 hours. We appreciated the close location to the airport and car rental return and did not notice any noise from planes. September 8, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by Very dissapointed The Sheraton Providence Airport hotel goes down as the "worst" Sheraton I have ever been to in my 12 years of travel. I am a business traveler and have been to places like Detroit, but this hotel lists even below the ones in Detroit ! The room stinks as soon as you open the door, beds are creaky and not comfortable at all ! I would not recommend this hotel for someone who wants a peaceful night after a long day of travel and work. Only pros I experienced was that the Hotel staff is friendly. August 26, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by This filthy, old, lazy staffed hotel desperately needs an upgrade or the wrecking ball! August 25, 2016 I have stayed at this hotel many times over several years and have been noticing a steady and obvious decay in the structure itself as well as the obvious neglect with which it's being treated by an inept and lazy management. Nothing has been touched since the 60's. The carpets are absolutely disgusting both in the rooms and the hallways; more smears and gigantic spills than there is carpet and there are plenty of spots where it's just worn and fraying apart creating a tripping hazard. And yet another safety violation... There is a layer of filth on the Club Room kitchenette floor I don't think they ever bother to clean and the ancient refrigerator in use is inoperable, at least 20 years old and a horrid sight once the door is open exposing at least six inches of dirty ice formed under the freezer shelf itself which drips when in a lot of use making the bottom of the fridge sport a 1/4" pool of water. The microwave is much worse and is almost never cleaned. Much to my dismay, I've had to scrub and clean the microwave several times during my stay before I could use it myself. A guest should not feel the need to clean the common facilities just because Management instills such a level of laziness and disinterest in it's staff. The rooms themselves are awful. Everything is falling apart; wallpaper curling in places, huge inexplicable dents in walls nobody has bothered to notice much less fix. I had to have maintenance come to my room several times due to maintenance failures or neglect. I had to have maintenance come to fix the tv iso it would turn on but it was still skipping multiple channels altogether. I was told it every single day it would be fixed by night. I was there for a week and it remained broken the entire time. Another maintenance person had to be called up to bring up a huge grounded extension cord. There is not one free outlet in the entire room that will allow you to use a laptop from the bed. I informed the engineer to please replace the dead light bulbs in my room while I was out one day. That never happened either. Then the toilet started acting up. Not only would it not flush and threatened to overflow? It also made awful gurgling noises and left a very ugly residue of black flakes that looked to me like pipes disintegrating and backwashing into the bowl. So up another engineer had to come to fix yet another broken facility in my room. In previous visits, their fire detector alarms went off for two days at all hours at least three or four times, scaring everyone out of bed and tripping all over one another scrambling down the stairwell. One stay last winter, I had to have the entire heating/AC system removed and replaced the very first night I was there!. Two guys were in my room for at least an hour and a half until 12 pm making a terrible racket while doing so and it was a miserable first night for me yet again.. This awful hotel is falling apart, it shows and nobody seems to care. Management is very young, has no clue how to run a hospitality hotel and are too inept to handle the job. The 'person' I had to deal with this morning is without question, totally out of his league and has absolutely no conflict resolution skills whatsoever. That boy needs to go back to clerking at Cumberland Farms and the job should be given to a professional with experience and the necessary skills to competently run a hotel. I was fed up with the incompetence I'd been experiencing all week had a meltdown in the kitchenette when I discovered a supervisor had instructed the staff to throw away all my FRESH Starbucks lattes in the refrigerator. I'd just bought them less than 12 hours previously. I apologized and admitted that my actions were not appropriate despite my anger and went back to my room and informed the front desk I was leaving a day early and not to expect me to ever return to this hotel again. Oh, the lighting in the parking areas is awful and dangerously dark for a great percentage of the area covered by parking lot. I did complain about it to management explaining how scary it is to walk alone when you are parked far from the hotel and it's pitch black until you finally get to a hotel door that is lit. It's a safety hazard, puts guests in jeopardy and the hotel should be cited and fined for this egregious safety failure. WHATTA DUMP! August 25, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel staff Freddy the front manager was excepitonal in accomodating mr amd my son when I thought I had a reservation But did not. I was driving do from north of boston when I found out there was no reservation. The hotel was full but he kindly opened a room that was closed for painiting the next day and allowed me to stay there at my spg rates. Hospitality is fabulous!!! Thanks Freddy I cannot thank you enough and we are coming back for 2 week stay. August 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff is great/ waiting for renovations Just returned from Sheraton Airport hotel. I agree that the hotel is in need of the upcoming renovations, but didn't find as much to grouse about as others. We were visiting colleges in the area and it was a good base of operations. Beds were very comfortable and room was clean. price was right considering the choices in the area and time of year. Did not eat in the restaurant or use the pool( it was clean and warm enough) Just didn't have time. The staff was excellent. Check in and check out were smooth. Everyone was ready to help. The person who I spoke to the most was Freddie. I would've taken more of his time, but didn't want to interfere too much with work time. Promote him soon. He's a great asset August 3, 2016
