Hotel offered upgrade to executive suite for $50 extra per night, plus free wifi, access to special lounge and included continental breakfast. Well, I thought the breakfast was pretty good, food was tasty, fruit especially so. But what else did I get for my upgrade? 1. HDTV? Not!!!!!! R U Kidding? No HD in this day and age? 2. Wifi painfully slow or not working at all. Had to sit my IPad on a desk near the window, otherwise no signal. Worst wifi of any hotel I have ever experienced. 3. Had to call room service to get new towels because room cleaners took all the used towels after first night and did not replace.....yikes! 4. Lounge too small for breakfast.....lots of people showing up for the food, not enough tables. 5. Bathroom kind of small for what I would think an executive suite would have. Other than the above, beds were comfortable and room was fairly clean. Great desk service and great shuttle service to Universal Studios and CityWalk. .....All in all, was okay. Had a great vacation. Would I go back? Probably because the price was the best I could get of all the hotels in the area and if they remain competitive, I would return. July 1, 2013
