We arrived at the hotel at around 1:30pm 12/4. We were told the room wouldn't be ready until 3:00. We said fine that we'll check-in after dinner.
We checked-in around 7:00, went to the room, which was at 65°, I set the thermostat to 74°, and watched the TV. After a while we noticed the vent was still blowing cold air, and the temperature still showed 65°. I turned off the thermostat, and went to bed.
The next morning before we left for the day we left word with the front desk of the problem with the heater, they claimed an engineer would look into it.
When we returned to the room around 7:00pm on 12/5, the temperature was 65°, I again set the thermostat to 74°, and the heater continued to blow cool air, temperature fell to 63°. We called the from desk, they said they would send up a portable heater, and an engineer.
There portable heater arrived shortly after, the engineer arrived after a while. He claimed the unit had a stuck vent. He opened it and the heater started heating the room. I brought the temperature up to 74°, then turned it off.
The next morning the heater again failed to heat, so we used the portable heater to supply heat before checking out before 10:00am.

THE ENTIRE STAFF INCLUDING PARKING HOUSEKEEPING AND FRONT DESK ARE HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. ABOVE AND BEYOND EXPECTATIONS.
HOWEVER I HATE THE BATHROOMS WAY TOO SMALL CAN HARDLY TURN AROUND.......

The Sheraton Universal is not only close to Universal City and City Walk but close to major freeways linking most of Los Angeles. Great resort for families with children--pool, hot tub, etc.

I found the hotel to be very comfortable and clean but most of all the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in the Los Angeles area.

we had the best time at the Sheraton...staff and stay was the best i ever experienced....there were 13 of us and we all have only good things to say... we were treated like vip's for sure

From start to finish this hotel was a great stay. The room was comfortable with a great view. The location was perfect for a day at Universal Studios. The front desk was a notch above.

my experience this time was not good.
checkin after 5.30 is unacceptable and the club room was dirty and was the worst of any SPG hotel I have stayed in.

...especially the concierge who was working on 3/10 -3/11. I can't remember her name, she was Chinese/ oriental...EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. She deserves special recognition!

We arrived a day early for our vacation and the Sheraton was able to accomodate with 2 rooms for my family. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. We'll definitely come back.

The service was great but our room was awfull specially the bathroom. The shower tub was flooded, ventilation fan is not working and mold was found all over the bathroom ceiling.

Staff tries very hard. The room is lacking. I has and executive suite and it did not live up to my expectations. Lacking in amenities. I would not stay at this hotel again.

My room was on the 19th floor and a wedding party on the 21st floor went late and was very loud. Got very little sleep big problem. Next time I would stay on a lower floor.

THis hotel is high priced but if you have the money to spend it's very worth it. So close to universal and the staff was some of the most accomidating I have seen.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area. All the staff from concierge to valet were perfect. As far as I can tell, nothing was out of place.
