The one issue I had staying was the tv would refresh itself every minute or so which made watching tv less pleasant. I was in rm 926 I believe.
The other comment I would make was that normally when I stay in a Starwood hotel, the club lounge has some snacks available in between meals. As a business traveller you often miss meals and it would have been nice to grab a granola bar or a piece of cheese.

The overall hotel was ok but there was a few areas that needs improvement. The front desk did not show me on the club level which I booked on line. The wireless internet was really slow on the 7th floor. When I turned the jacuzzi would not get hot at all. The indoor pool was to be heated and it was not. The walls in the room seem like it had been painted to cover something up. The good parts about the stay was the parking was free, the breakfast in the dining room was good. The staff was nice and helpful other than getting me to the club level. I think it was over priced for what was offered.

No apologies, no ammenties ever offered at this hotel, not even correct names used. A very nice property except for the outside entrance., but the front staff need training even to running credit cards through.

we waited too long for the shuttle and then ended up taking a taxi. not sure why this is the case.

The hotel underwent a much needed renovation during the past year and I am pleased to say that work hit the mark and made the property much more comfortable and attractive. Great staff, good value for your money. I definitely recommend this property if you need accommodation in the Bush Airport area.

This is a very nice property near the airport. The renovations were great, and the staff was accommodating and friendly. The good was also good in the club lounge and of a high quality.
I will definitely come back here.

I generally stay at this hotel at least once a year. I have always like the rooms, but the recent renovation has made them even more appealing. I always feel at home here.

Room #802 has a problem with the tub draining. Water builds up and takes a long time to drain leaving residue on feet and on the tub. I was too busy to make a formal complaint to the desk.

Hotel was host to 2 very large separate events. The hotel was not staffed to handle that large of crowds from front desk, bell service, carts, maid service. Maid service only place 1 set of towels each day, did not empty trash, long lines for checkin. But the staff keep their cool and was very helpful in resolving all issues, but it was frustrating. Bell service also should not allow people to take the carts, they should escort to ensure carts are returned timely.

A few minor hitches with equipment in room
which were quickly resolved by very attentive maintenance staff. Meals were fantastic! Great variety and quality throughout week long stay. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Will definitely stay here again.

the worst part of this stay was getting to and from the hotel - the shuttle service is HORRIBLE!!!
do not expect the shuttle to arrive on time to pick you up - do expect comments like "it will be right there" and "the driver says he is right there"
Once at the hotel service improves greatly and the Club Lounge is well stocked for breakfast and evening snacks - expect to pay for drinks

stayed here for a business trip for a week, and it was a spectacular hotel to stay at. definitely recommend and definitely will return to this one.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel. The people are so friendly and really seem to care that you are taken care of. my only complaint is that the gym equipment is old and noisy. It tends to be crowded too in the mornings- Maybe a remodel of the gym area and new equipment for 2012!

Before ever arriving I spoke with the front desk and they were always very kind and helpful.
Ms. Connie checked me in and was gracious and kind. Mr. Roger was my Doorman and he carried all my many bags from the parking lot by the pool where I was parked. He also showed be all the amenities of the room. The room so beautiful, fresh, spacious and clean. The wi-fi was easy and fast.
The Restaurant is comfortable. The Hostess and Servers were always gracious. The food was excellent. The Breakfast Buffet is the Best. Every Person working at this hotel that we encountered is very happy to be working here and always wanting to make sure you enjoy your stay. thanks to them We have beautiful enchanting memories with my lifelong friends. thank you

After explaining to Connie the next morning that I could not sleep because the fitted sheet did not fit and exposed the mattress. For hygienic reasons I could not sleep on exposed mattress.Connie was quite unprofessional and very negative. I asked for compensation for this inconvenience,and as this was my 82 room night this year I was disturbed by her negative response. She told me that a manager would call me,which never happened.

The hotel facilities are all clean and provides great comfort - sleeping rooms, conference rooms, restaurants, swimming pool, business center, front desk, lobby. the elevators are spacious, fast and convenient for accommodating a big number of conference participants that they don't have to wait long. The hotel staff are all warm and accommodating. The food served to us is superb with very reasonable price. Our experience from hotel negotiation with the Sales manager up to the end of the conference with the Banquet manager is very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel for meetings, conferences and special events.

We arrived at the George Bush International airport from Cancun we were a little tired. My husband called the hotel and they immediately sent a shuttle to pick us up. At the hotel they greeted us very warmly and had our confirmation pulled up with in seconds. We weren't at the desk more than 3 minutes. We went up to our room which was very nice and comfortable and dropped off luggage and then went down to grab a bite to eat. The service was great he was very quick and the food was good too. When we got back to our room the bed was definitely "heavenly"! We had a nice nights sleep. Check out was very quick and the shuttle got us back to the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight.

This hotel has a nice restaurant with very good food. The staff throughout the hotel is very friendly and always willing to meet your needs. Much of the hotel has been updated and looks great.

We picked this hotel fit it's proximity to the airport & 24h shuttle service to accommodate our overnight & flight schedule. Everything was perfect and we will stay there again. Tks for the outstanding customer service and hospitality!

We love Starwood hotels but this was a bust. We arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM and the hotel was under construction. Why would they put us in a room just above the jackhammer? Well of course we moved into another room (Room 715) and this was just as bad. The return-air vent in the room was SO loud and the air-conditioning was SO loud that it was impossible to sleep and it woke us up from sleep. On top of that the refrigerator in the room had a whistle when it turned on so - to make a long story short - we got little sleep.

It's at best a category 2 hotel, regardless of booking rates/season. Friendly polite staff.
Good location close to airport, but nothing else in area (and as hard as concierge tried, couldn't get a cab on a Thursday night).
Until area developed (restaurants, coffee shop), move further out.

the hotel fills its needs for those looking for a comfortable clean and quiet place to stay prior to flights at IAH. I travel quite often for business and this hotel is comparable to other sheraton's i have stayed. They recently updated their internet and rooms which are much better than they had been in past years

Super Close to Airport. Shuttle Drivers were the best,..the best, friendly and helpful. I arrived quite late on a Friday and I got checked in instantly. Ask for a room that doesn't face..uh..the..weird and super ugly generator platform. Personnel here are top notch. Will return

Charging me $2.23 each time I made a toll free 800 number phone call is outrageous. The in room wifi was spotty at best and unavailable frequently. The room is poorly lit making it hard to read in the room.

In general the hotel was as expected. There was a cleaning rag left in my room, but the room was otherwise clean.
Unfortunately, just as I lay down (about 11:45pm) to try to sleep, a beeping noise started in the hall. I tried to ignore it, but when I couldn't fall asleep for over 30 min, I went to investigate. It turned out to be the credit card swiper on the Coke machine. It was stuck in a reboot cycle which led to continuous beeping. I called the front desk and alerted them to the problem, and he told me he would look into it.
Over an hour later it's still beeping, so I call back to the front desk. He tells me there's no one he can call to fix it at that hour (now about 1:30am). I asked if he could just unplug it, and he says he hasn't even been up to investigate it so he's not sure if he can reach the plug. He suggested I switch rooms. I asked if he minded if I tried to unplug it, before I pack up everything and move. He was fine with that, and it turned out the machine was plugged into a surge protector that I just switched off.
So the hotel is fine, as long as you are competent enough to resolved your own problems, because the staff clearly isn't.
