Rated 1 out of 5 by cashflow noise in room & more
There was a horrible noise sounding like a dryer or helicopter. We asked the front desk to look into it, but never heard back.
The front desk called at some early hour saying that they did not have a credit card on file, yet all the charges showed up on my online banking?
The fancy dining room was closed at 7:30 on a Sunday. However, it was way too hot in the bar/lounge/restaurant, so we had to eat in our room.
Then after check out, we took a ride and left my trailer in the rear parking lot. When we came back someone had decided that since there was an empty parking lot the best place to park was in front of the unhooked trailer. I am not 100% sure, but I believe it was an employee of the hotel.
SO much for a romantic getaway to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We live in King of Prussia, next time we will stay at the V Casino.

The hotel stay was fine. Loved the bedding. Pillows are fluffy. The heating unit a little noisy. The shower had great pressure. Where it needs improvement is in food. Its overpriced and not that good. A glass of white Riesling 12.00. The breakfast was cold and potatoes not done. Eggs were those powder type. This was on a buffet. The dinner the night before was very good. But overall need some improvement in food. Service from staff was first rate though.

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding that we were attending. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, and clean. We would recommend this hotel.

I asked to be placed in a newly renovated room (I was aware from a prior stay that the hotel had begun renovations). While the look was improved, I was not impressed with three things: (1) the bed, which I assume was new, was not as firm as was the case during my previous stay; (2) the vanity in the bathroom dwarfs the space and is very limiting, (3) the location of the toilet paper holders is actually comical from the point of accessing them.

The beds are very comfortable, very "homey". The staff is amazing! They are all very nice and kind. They treat me like family, they make sure I am happy. The Shuttle takes me wherever I need, when I need it. No one gives that amount of care to customers. All customers.
There is something I DONT LIKE…. that recently they cut down so may wonderful, beautiful trees! It gave the hotel charm and differentiated it from so many other "cement-city" looking hotels. . The trees added to the feel and "homey-ness" of the hotel. Who cuts down old gorgeous trees? Shame on the person that made that decision. They should have to plant a new tree where each tree was taken down, and then some. Seriously. It set that Sheraton apart. Appearance is very important. Now one sees yet another commercial business from the road. It looks similar to the Hampton next door. It no longer looks like a pleasant "second home" to stay in while you are away from your "first home".

Rated 3 out of 5 by KMcG No Double Bed, Charged for WiFi, no Fridge, bad TV picture
1. I was staying at the hotel with my daughter because of her tournament. I wanted a double room. I didn't need the front desk telling me that I ordered a single KIng. There is NO CHANCE that I did. As it turned out, my daughter was ok with the temp bed. I would not have been.
2. The idea of charging for WiFi is a joke. We stayed at six hotels in the past AAU season. Yours is the only one where there were separate charges for WiFi.

I do work with QVC and have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel several times this year. Each stay gets better and better. The highlight of each stay is most definitely the staff. I'm always greeted with a big smile at the front desk - and the van drivers are excellent. Because of our around-the-clock shows on QVC, the team at The Sheraton are so accommodating with cleaning the room and all of my other needs. Thanks so much to the team!

Rated 2 out of 5 by miko3624 Hotels needs a makeover
I stay at Sheraton Hotels throughout the country. This hotels is in need of an update. From faded carpet throughout the building to a shabby breakfast in the club level room. It appears that no one has bothered to keep this property up to date. It appears to be frozen in time. There was only one elevator that was working and it was full of scratches and the panel behind the buttons is in utter dis repair. This property needs some help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kadish0930 It's the little things
This is the only Sheraton where every room on the club floor consistently has every bathroom amenity supplied (great job housekeeping). Is it raining during your stay? Grab an umbrella right by the front entrance. The infused water and treats await guests in the lobby at all hours.
It is the little things that you'd expect at a historic city hotel or sprawling luxury resort that always impresses me with Sheraton Great Valley!

Rated 3 out of 5 by sm81 Could use some work
I was staying for a wedding and when I reserved the room I couldn't even get an early check in as the wedding was the same time as check in, unless I bought another night. That's ridiculous. At $120/nihgt (this was the wedding rate) there was nothing spectacular with the room and they don't even have a mini fridge. You could request one though which I did and it was small dirty, beat up and wasn't even cold. Not worth the money to me.

I stay at this hotel a few times each month for business. Every member of the staff goes above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. From the front desk to the restaurant to the shuttle drivers to the concierge 5th floor everyone always has a smile on their face and is a hard worker. I also appreciate when the front desk staff puts me in a suite whenever possible since I'm a light sleeper. Thanks for always making my stay comfortable!

I recently had the opportunity to stay the Sheraton Great Valley. I had a phenomenal experience with the friendly and helpful nature of the staff there. Some of my luggage had been lost and I needed several things for my trip. The staff helped me get all the things I needed for a successful business trip without hesitation. Eric at the front desk was particularly helpfyl. All in all, the people at the Sheraton Great Valley are great.

Well kept, lodge-like hotel on the far west side of Philadelphia south of Valley Forge. Staff was attentive and responsive to need missed by housekeeping. The historic White Horse restaurant is closed for dinner now - needs to reopen. Still, very good Sheraton.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MikeO73 A Little Like Coming Home
This was our third stay at Sheraton Great Valley. It offered the helpful staff we remembered, as well as the excellent breakfast food and service. Central location gave us access to the home and university campus we visited, a favored ice cream parlor, great scenery, and easy drives to the Wyatt Museum and Valley Forge.

Rated 2 out of 5 by driptide not good for hockey teams
When you book 50 -60 rooms with a hockey organization, you have to give the 70 to 80 hockey players and their parents a place to meet and hang out.. It's rough getting that many people into a single hotel room.Every hotel we have ever stayed in gave us a conference room to assemble. it s very hard to get people to just stay in their rooms.we were told we could use the patio outside to assemble and have pizza. this was great until the lightning got a little too close and it started to rain. We asked for a conference room and were told the GM said absolutely not. We ate our pizza in the front lobby and waited for the rain to stop so we could at least go back outside. if Sheraton has a policy about us using a conference room they should not book rooms to a hockey organization. this is the most expensive hotel we have stayed in an it was the least accommodating. The hot breakfast buffet that was included was terrible. We were given disgusting inedible breakfast sandwiches in the lobby of the hotel. no where to sit just here's a sandwich .most people took a bite and threw them away. Me being in the food service industry would be embarrassed to serve a breakfast like that..

The hotel staff was excellent. They took care of all my needs. The hotel is good but I recommend that some improvements be made. More lighting in the rooms. They were not bright enough. The prices at the resturant is way too pricey. The elevators need some improving. When you press the floor button the wall shakes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RichandTonya Disgusting and broken
We were upgraded to a "suite" as platinum members on the 3rd floor. If this was an upgrade, I cannot imagine a regular room. It had a beautiful parking lot view. The room was filthy. The carpet looked, smelled and felt like it hadn't been cleaned in a decade. The air in the room smelled like the last guest had never heard of deodorant. There were hairs of prior guests everywhere. Stains on doors and walls that I don't want to know the origin. To top off this lovely experience, the water in the sink and shower could only be adjusted to ice cold or scalding, no in between. We couldn't shower in the room, we had to go to another room to shower. When informing the front desk staff of our inconvenience, NOTHING was done to make up for it. We are platinum members but no one should have to deal with this. I'm not sure we will ever stay at another Sheraton after this experience.

The bathroom did not have a working vent- the sink and wash area was small- One of the elevators was not working leading to long waits going up or down to the room-(as compensation the hotel offered free internet) this is not acceptable--they should have offered free drink at the bar and/or discounted breakfast- Breakfast buffett was very expensive and not quality-they should offer free continental breakfast-

Rated 3 out of 5 by SPG224 Average Sheraton in Suburban Pennsylvania
I found this hotel to be just average. There were no clear amenities for being an SPG member, and the facilities were so-so. Soundproofing to the hallway was just terrible. You could hear people opening and closing their doors, which woke me up all night. Staff was friendly enough, but not overly accommodating. Overall, this Sheraton mostly met my purposes, but I would not go out of my way to stay here again.

Rated 5 out of 5 Great experience!
My husband and I stayed at this Sheraton while attending a wedding nearby. The staff was pleasant, the room comfortable and clean, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable, best hotel bed I can remember!! In the morning, the parents of the bride hosted a breakfast in a downstairs room and it complimented and completed this great experience. If I were in the area again I would most definitely stay there!!

I travel frequently on business, and have never seen this quality of staff in any other business hotel.
From the front desk service, to George in the Club Lounge, I always feel like I'm being greeted by friends. They take an interest in my business and in helping to make my trip a success in any way possible.
I have also noticed that the quality of food in the Club Lounge has greatly improved! Nice job!

The hotel had a rundown feel, the room was ~1/3 drop ceiling (at about 7' height)including the bathroom. The shower was lowered to accommodate the ceiling and the shower head reached about eye level. The carpets were dingy looking with large stained areas. The only good thing about the room was the bed which is why I generally stay at Sheraton family hotels.

I have stayed at the Sheraton Great Valley for the past 5 years. They are like my second family. This past week I celebrated a big birthday and it did not go un-noticed by the staff. I received lots of birthday wishes and a yummy cake. I was so touched. Also - my compliments to the entire staff and Chefs at the Sheraton. Awesome customer service and delicious food. thanks everyone! See you soon!

Rated 3 out of 5 by IBAN2013 Why charge for Internet
The reason I won't stay at this hotel again is because it charges for Internet and does not provide complimentary breakfast. This hotel is already too expensive for its quality and location, so why charge again for Internet and breakfast. Even the cheapest motels in America provide those for free.
This hotel just uses the Sheraton name but it is by no stretch of imagination a Sheraton Hotel.

we decided to stay at this location after visiting Longwood Gardens, not familiar with the area, this location came up in an spg search. upon arrival we were upgraded as members and we were very surprised, this has never happened before. this hotel is a hidden treasure, there are many local area attractions we hope to be back to visit and will definitely book this location again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NotsoSatisfied Only as Last resort
This hotel was not the worst i have stayed in, but i would look for other accomadations before i wasted money on the overpriced rooms at this hotel again. The hotel looked "cheap" with the old ceiling tiles in the room and hollow residential doors. I never recieved my requested extra towels and was charged for a bottle of water even though i am an SPG member. Not the best experience.
