Rated 4 out of 5 by Nemesis Great Hotel location for shoppers
This is a great hotel for shoppers going to Woodbury.
It meets all my expectations of a Sheraton with the exception of the internet service. I stayed two nights and I wasn't able to connect to it via cellphone or laptop.
The Technicians never showed up to help me and the front desk help was useless.
Even that, probably I'll get there the next black friday. I hope that Internet issues will be solved by that date...

We had an event at this hotel in November this year and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. Our special thanks to the event manager and the two assistant managers. They were very honest, responsible, helpful, planners, doers and make everything go smooth approach persons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hardrock04Actual First time stay, but I will be back
Business trip, arrived really late, and check out really early. Everyone was very friendly, kept the bar open a few extra minutes so I could grab a quick drink. They recognized my Platinum status and upgraded me to a bigger room. I will stay with them again in future trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rebecca2015 Excellent Customer Service
I have stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Mahwah multiple times over the last year and been pleased each time with the quality and level of service provided. However, I wanted to mention that on my last stay, I was blown away by the hospitality provided. In particular, Courtney (the agent at the front desk) went out of her way to make sure that I felt welcome and special during my stay. Seemingly small gestures can make a big difference to the weary road warriors. A big thank you to the staff at Sheraton Mahwah and especially to Courtney!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shimmer13 Beautiful Hotel but beds are small
Our room had full size beds, which is cramped for two people. I feel that a high end hotel such as this should have queen sized beds to accommodate two people. For me the primary reason to stay at any hotel is to have a comfortable place to sleep. The rest is just icing, and I never eat cake for the icing.
Prices at the restaurant, especially for the breakfast buffet were jaw dropping. Eighteen dollars for some eggs and sausage??? That might be warranted if you are serving breakfast to a football team. I can barely eat one egg and a piece of toast and I am done. Eighteen dollars? Really? I can buy the ingredients of what I ate for less than 50 cents. I understand that someone has to wash the dishes and clear the table....but...eighteen dollars?
There were four of us. so that amounts to 64 dollars for breakfast. How much do the bus people get paid to get that table ready for the next group?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rodger Amazing Hospitality
Chelsea was extremely helpful well before check in. Her extraordinary hospitality continued when I called the hotel shortly after landing at Newark rather early on the day of check in. Chelsea made it possible for me to check in early and went a step further by ensuring that I was able to make the most of my first trip to NJ/NYC. Thanks to Chelsea's directions and travel advice I was able to see all of Manhattan in two days without any issues. Based solely on her hospitality, I will definitely stay at this property the next time I am in the area.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SJ11 Very disappointed.
I've been to this hotel on several occasions. Sad to say, but It appears that the quality of the stay has been declining with each visit.
The rooms have a musty smell to them. You will not get a good night's rest if you have neighbors -- you will hear everything, every sound made!
I brought this to the manager's attention, who made very little effort in attempting to remedy the situation. That night was a huge waste of money.
The dirty, musty rooms combined with the noise make this place unbearable. Keep yourself away from this place and you'll thank me later.
