There was only one downfall to this hotel and that was the front desk. The front desk staff did not seem too happy to check me in or when I had questions. Who knows maybe it is because I booked the room with points? On the other hand, the other staff at the Sheraton Suites Elk Grove are phenomenal especially Dawn and Kevin. The rooms were clean and met my expectations. The hallway wallpaper could use an upgrade though.

Overall, excellent hotel. I liked how it was far enough away from the main roads to not hear road noise, yet close enough to get to the roads to head out. Clean rooms, clean pool area. Only small thing is no towels in the pool area and I had to call to request more to dry myself and my kids off. Front desk personell were very accomidating and friendly. DEFINATELY will stay again!!

This Sheraton Suites is so pleasant and so friendy that you might just forget you're on the road -- it feels very homey and personal. The rooms was immaculate and very very comfortable. I'm already looking forward to my next trip!

Overall I would recommend this Sheraton. Each room is a suite with a separate sitting area. Very large and comfortable. I only took off one star because the Internet is not free. The first day and a half we were there the Internet was free and when they wanted to charge, I called the front desk and the employee was quite rude in telling me that I did have to pay. Not sure where the hiccup was but come one Sheraton, get with the program.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now. This stay was about as expected. There are some great benefits - free self-parking (one of the only SPG properties in Chicago that w/that benefit) a brand new concierge lounge and easy access to the airport. The hotel needs some TLC - the rooms are a little out-dated - especially if you compare them to the new lounge. The lobby is comfortable and there bar and restaurant are good options if you can't get out of the hotel.
I would stay at the hotel again especially if I had a rental car, but would love to see some updates to the guest rooms.

The heater was broken and was blaring all night, Maintaince was in our room at 2:30am, the "queen size sofa bed" was barely a double, about half of the light bulbs thoughout the whole hotel were out and hadn't been replaced, the outdoor pool was green and full of leaves...shall I continue??

Staff is great. Hotel was clean and comfortable as usual. EXCEPT, the fact that they apparently turned off the AC for the Fall/Winter seasons. Rooms and hallways were uncomfortably warm, and the only way to cool them off at all was to leave my room window open all weekend... not very energy conscious.

We have been using this hotel for a number of years and have always found it a good choice. however this time we had trouble with the air conditioning. The staff were very quick to respond and although it took 2 visits, the problem was resolved. THE HOTEL MANAGER MADE A POINT OF COMING TO OUR ROOM TO SPEAK WITH US TO MAKE SURE THAT WE WERE SATISFIED AND TO APOLOGIZE. the offers made to compensate us were beyond generous and even after we accepted and then changed our mind, he was more than gracious and generous. We were very impressed. The staff at this property are extremely warm and make your stay easy and personal.
