Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice stay at Sheraton Cavalier Four night stay to see Calgary and drive up to Banff & Lake Louise. Nice Club Lounge with hot food. Marie was great in the Club Lounge. Free parking and hotel/airport shuttle. Front desk staff and evening manager, R.G., very responsive, professional, and warm & friendly. Hotel close to many places to eat, Costco, and Sunridge mall. Easy drive to downtown on weekends - not sure of traffic during the week. Nice indoor waterpark if you have a family. Good starting and return location for trips to Canadian Rockies. October 15, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel Pool Facilities Very disappointed with this hotel's pool facilities. There were people consuming alcohol in both hot tubs and the swimming pool. There was a large number of unsupervised kids running around like it was a madhouse and even though there were 6 staff members poolside, none were engaged enough to enforce any rules. Even when I questioned one of them, all they had to offer was a shrug of their shoulders. Very poor showing, especially for a Sheraton! July 17, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Overall excellent, but... All good but one BIG surprise - we arrived from the airport for a 10 hour 'airline connection' with 5 pieces of luggage. The shuttle pickup service was quite slow and SURPRISE, there was no concierge service to help us move our bags off the curb and to our room. It's quite a big hotel - help with luggage should be standard service. The (grey haired) night porter did it all - picked up luggage at 3 am from our room and drove the shuttle to the airport (excellent!). April 9, 2015

Rated 3 out of 5 by Room Location I stay with your hotel on a regular basis. I have always been happy with the room in past. I this stay I was located across from the elevator on the 2nd floor. This is also near the pool entrance. I was very unhappy with the noise level I encountered on my stay. November 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Another great SPG property I haven't stayed at this property for a couple of years and was pleased with the upgrades especially the new Fitness room. Staff is very friendly and the property is well maintained. It would have been nice to have been offered an upgraded room or a better location based upon Gold status but I was told the property was sold out. This seems to be a recurring theme at SPG properties which is a little disappointing. November 14, 2014

It's a rare full service Sheraton that does not charge for parking. The Club Lounge could have better vegetarian fare, but this is a minor quibble for an otherwise excellent hotel with very good amenities October 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a great hotel It has been years since I stayed at the Sheraton Cavalier. We came often with our young son, to enjoy the water park. I had a funeral to attend and stayed at the Sheraton as it was very close to where the funeral was. I am so happy I did. The look has changed, since I was there years ago. A wonderful surprise. The lobby is beautiful and friendly, the rooms are amazing, and the beds are wonderful. The staff are so accommodating and quick to respond to your needs. I have and I will continue to recommend this wonderful hotel to friends and family. It is a must stay for your next holiday or just a quick stop. October 19, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bitterly disappointed We have stayed at the Cavalier many, many times and received really fantastic treatment, even during Stampede week. So our hopes were high when we booked this week-long stay commencing Sept 8, 2014. However, none of the service we are accustomed to receiving was forthcoming from the get go. The room we were allocated was filthy - we complained and were moved to another room; no apology, no move on the part of management to ease our discomfort. The new room was marginally better. The new bathroom actually had hair and other filth in it - the room itself had ring marks on the table surfaces and dust abounded. A housekeeper looked in, agreed with us and had staff clean up a bit - just a lick and promise! Furthermore, we have ALWAYS been upgraded to the Club Floor, but were not, this time around, even though there were rooms available. We were told we would have to pay $45/night if we wanted access to the Lounge. We wanted to pay in points == we have nearly a million in our account, but the day manager on Sept 8 refused! This whole experience was just so off the charts bad we just could not believe it. The night manager (Chris) a few days days later was super nice, though, and helped us through a difficult time when our license plate was stolen. Has the management changed? The last time we stayed at the Cavalier (2012) our experience was 100% better. Because of our pleasant stays over the years we return to this particular hotel time and time again. Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable full service hotel I stay frequently at this hotel and it's one of the better full service hotels near the airport. I've stayed at this hotel for the past 10 years so it's not a new property but it has been recently renovated so it looks new on the inside. The bed and bedding are very comfortable for a nice sleep and I'm particularly impressed with how clean the cleaning staff keep the washrooms (no hard water stains in the shower and the faucets). The service is excellent and prompt and the hotel does NOT charge for parking (or internet for platinum guests) so don't get discouraged by the higher nightly rates. September 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great rooms, service needs work This hotel has great rooms for business travelers. Desk with multiple power outlets, seating area with coffee table, and comfy beds. The bathroom is also well designed with plenty of storage space and a nice shower. However, the food service is anything but great. I stay at this hotel frequently and have consistently had problems. This trip, I ordered room service twice and both orders were made incorrectly. August 25, 2014

The staff and management are very professional, polite and most of all greet you throughout your stay with a very warm and positive manner. The hotel is well kept and best of all a great value. Rated 3 out of 5 by sleep We were initially placed in a room beside the slides and across from the elevator. After being ask to move due to the noise we were moved just 4 rooms down. This room was very noisy as well. They also decided to do construction at 8am, when my toddler couldn't go to sleep until after the pool shut down at 10pm. Disappointing night. August 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Hotel. I have stayed at the Sheraton before on business, couple of times. My wife and I decided to have a few days away. A couple of days in Calgary and then Banff. Having enjoyed the hotel when stayed on business, it was my only choice for our getaway. We were not disappointed, appreciate the upgrade and the staff looked after us in the club room.
