Hotel was good but the service was very slow for lunch at Barclay's Restaurant. It took 40 min just to get our food and not very efficient

This is one of the hotels thay I stay in Calkgary.
The staff at front desk and club lounge are always professional, welcoming and courteous. They remember me by my name when I step into the hotel.
I got corner suite upgrade for this stay, which was a wonderful way to unwind at a very nice hotel.
One thing continues to indicate that the hotel is losing its very fine touch: for example, the welcoming gift is now reduced to a blue plastic bottle water, and the personalized stationary is complenete gone.

Our stay could be summed up with a big WOW! This new SPG facility is gorgeous and the staff so well trained and engaged. Even the people who were "security" or "do you need directions" type staff were personable. We received the royal treatment of being upgraded to a two-room suite. This was a huge, luxurious, beautiful suite that we could not resist but had to take pictures of (our friends were impressed too). The Club Lounge privileges and dining facility was just amazing. Complete with several shiatsu calves and foot massage units in front of many comfy chairs, and a quieter enclave for use of their computers. The breakfast and early evening appetizers in the Club Lounge as well as VIP service was truly nothing we have ever seen in over a hundred hotels our family has stayed in. The kids loved the pool and we loved the extensive fitness center as well. The staff in the Club Lounge exceeded expectations on a regular basis. They took their time to explain tourist attractions, and I loved that THEY loved Macao and was proud to "show it off". Just WOW! You gotta stay here if you're visiting Macao. In fact, we would go back to Macao just to stay here! Outstanding job, Sheraton Macao!

Stayed with this hotel for more than 20 times by this stay (Nov 18, 2011).
The front desk and club lounge staff are always great and welcoming.
However, the welcoming gifts are getting smaller and smaller and less valuable. You may as well not include any welcoming gift for your plat guests at all.

I was travelling on business. I found my suite to be very comfortable and was able to complete work details very efficiently . Loved my visit to the hair salon and definitely loved my new hair style. And to cap it off, the best night's sleep that I have had in quite a while!

Our check-in was scheduled for 3pm. My husband and I arrived after 5pm with 3 children (ages 5-9mth) and were told our room was not ready and needed to wait another 45min. On top of that, we were told we were only booked for 1 night and not the 2 nights we had reserved for. We drove around Calgary for 30min until the kids needed the washroom and I was fed-up! Called in to complain and we were offered a better room with a couple of perks. Aside from the initial frustrations our stay was nice but was very upset to show up after hours on the road (with children) to be told our room wasnt ready-unacceptable! We decided that we didnt want to stay the second night.

Not having stayed previously in Hong Kong in a hotel, we were prepared for a small sized room. We booked two rooms for the 4 of us. Our kids had a standard sized room and we were upgraded to a suite right beside it. We were pleasantly surprised that even the standard room was "North American sized". Both rooms were spacious and updated in style. The staff in the Club Lounge and in the restaurant where we enjoyed a daily breakfast buffet were very personable, knowing our names and very attentive to our needs. A couple of the Club Lounge staff even knew what my drink of choice would be every evening when we went there for a quick snack and drink. The buffet every morning was a highlight that we spoke highly of to all of our friends. I highly recommend this hotel if you are used to a more spacious hotel room and have high expectations of service.
