I have stayed at this hotel many times a year for many years. Most recent stay was disappointing as I could see the front edge of decay setting in. Mold on tiles and grout in shower, TV remotes not working. Pathetically slow wifi. Televevision signal weak and some stations highly picsalated. Need to stop these early signs of decay before it becomes more common.

I would like to thank all of the staff and the General Manager for making our stay the best it could have been. Our stay was for a very big occasion of getting engaged and they did everything possible to make our stay perfect. We look forward to staying at the Sheraton again in the future possibly even on our wedding night.

Always a great experience at the Sheraton Eau Claire in Calgary. This visit was made particularly nice as the maid was keen to recognize my needs providing those little extras based on what she saw of how I was using both the room and the things in the room. Nice touch!!

I recently stayed in central Calgary for the first time. The hotel location was perfect. All my meetings were within walking distance and there are many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. The staff was friendly and very helpful when requested. Unfortunately Starwood points are no longer credited when using a third party booking service as I usually do.

Wow. What an enjoyable place to stay
And we happened to be there during the summers taste of Calgary festival right in eau Claire. For anyone thinking of coming to visit and try Calgary. What a great experience
Food and drinks from all the local hot spots
Best pint of beer I've ever tried before. 'original 16' made in sask. it was a fantastic get away

I have always stayed at the Wetin (around the corner) but decided to stay at the Sheraton this trip. From check-in to check-out the hotel met or exceeded my expecttions and has now become my go to hotel when I travel to Calgary. (as a complete aside I also discovered the River Cafe on Prince's Island a short walk from the hotel and well worth it).

I have stayed in the property for the last 12 years. In the last 2-3 years it has taken a signficiant downward step. Different Leadership perhaps?? Rooms; carpets, faciliites are not being maintained well and it is becoming "long in the tooth". Ownership is not concerned about being the best anymore. They are a nice but average hotel for Calgary.

I stay here almost weekly and have been doing so for the last year. Its consistently excellent, and the newly refurbished rooms are great. Friendly, helpful staff, clean quiet rooms, a good location winter or summer, the Eau Claire is my first choice every time I come to Calgary - and I have tried the others.

from the late check-in (room not ready until almost 7 pm) to the extremely slow service in Barclay's cafe to the 'we can't find your keys' for our valet departure, we experienced so many glitches that it put a damper on our weekend. Staff were friendly but didn't deliver. A lovely property and great location but poor customer service.

Excellent SPG benefits, Club lounge is lovely (patio in the summer is EPIC actually), great food but what puts this property over the edge... incredible staff. Warm, professional, remember your name, truly treat you like a guest visiting their home. Very surprising to achieve this at such a large property. Consistently Impresses!

The hotel staff made a big difference to our stay and our event. I could not believe how friendly the staff was. This included valet, check in, banquet, AV, housekeeping, sales, greeters, you name it! Not to mention the meeting rooms were perfect for my event. I will be back, and have recommended the Sheraton to all my coworkers.

I stayed one night ( to accommodate doctor's appointments) with our son who had a workplace accident and was confined to his room. Ashley from guest services sent him a wonderful platter - really brought a smile!! It was unexpected, thoughtful and greatly appreciated. The room and facilities are wonderful too! Love staying here!

I arrived at the hotel about 12:30pm and there where no rooms available. I had calls to make so the the person at the front desk held my bag and gave me access to the Lounge. Around 2pm my room was available and they delivered my bag to the room.

The hotel had great rooms and meeting facilities, but I found the decor to be somewhat dated. If in Calgary again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire, but if you are looking for a hip, trendy hotel, this is not the place for you. The staff were great - very friendly, efficient and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and will be back again. The only complaint was the 45 minutes it took valet to get our car when we were ready to leave.

We have stayed here many times, however, this time there seemed to by several "new" staff. From check-in to bellman to maintenance we consistently heard "I am just new here". In many cases they were unable to help as they did not know how? We felt bad that the new employees were put on the floor without adequate training.

Room wasn't ready. Told I would be called when ready and luggage placed into room. Finally checked back at 5:30: room ready but no call and luggage not in room.
Toilet paper holder was loose and fell apart the first time I used it. Called to have fixed, which it was when I returned from dinner, but no toilet paper on it.

The last time I stayed at the hotel, we relized I had an allergy to the bed linen (perhaps the detergent used to clean). When I checked in this time, they were sure to ensure that my linen was changed to the non-allergy linen which was most appreciated.

Very nice property, well situated and nice rooms.
Quite disappointed that there is no 'green choice' program and there is no electronic receipt capability as in other SPG properties.
I would encourage management to at least implement a green choice program.

I booked in here for my honeymoon. I was not offered free valet parking. On top of that when I received my bill, there was a $40 charge for a cell phone charger that I never received. I have called for over a week and left messages but have yet to have it resolved. I thiink this is very poor customer service.

From the time I arrived at the hotel until I checked out, I was impressed with the staff and service. When I first arrived I was met by the Valet attendant who informed me about the services of the hotel and made me feel very welcome and assured security of vehicle. The room and the food were excellent.

Two areas for improvement. 1 - stop charing for in-room wifi. These days that is like charging for cable tv. And if you are going to charge $15 a day, make it for all devices. $15 a day per device does not mesh with how people work these days. 2 - the desk needs a better / higher chair for working.

Calgary has amongst the highest parking costs in the country, but fear not - your only Sheraton Eau Claire option to park rationally is by Valet, and lucky that at $38 plus taxes per night, you get the bonus of not paying anything more than what you will be forced to pay for street parking.

We recently stayed at the Sheraton for our wedding night. The staff was helpful and welcoming. They even went as far as sending up a bottle of champagne for us when they noticed our arrival back at the hotel after the ceremony.
They truly helped make the day as special as it was.

we were very touched when we entered our room and saw a puppy pillow and 2 bowls for our puppy. We had instantly wished we had brought him with us.

High quality hotel in downtown Calgary. Best experience was the fantastic service, lots of eye contact and goe out of their way to smile at you. Hard to come by service like this elsewhere.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location, staff is friendly and the rooms are very nice and very clean. Well equipped fitness center and pool.
I am greatly disappointed that there is an additional fee for Internet access, which in today's world is a basic amenity.

It was our second stay at this hotel and the experience confirmed our decision to stay again. Staff in particular were very helpful. Good location with easy access for parking . Second restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay which limited options for eating.
