Rated 4 out of 5 by PeterHJ Clarification and improvement of Club entitelments required
Excellent location close to the river and park - great for long outdoor runs along the river.
Staff are noticeably attentive and well trained.
Good rooms, good value for money.
The "Club Floor" package is a bit poor and not well explained e.g. on check I was told that "breakfast was included". I eventually found that it was included ONLY if I had the rather limited breakfast on offer up on the 15th floor. I had been looking forward to an inclusive full breakfast in the main restaurant - not possible. What would have been acceptable was a, say, CAD$25 credit against a full breakfast, but even that isn't on. If you want a decent proper breakfast you have to pay for it in full. Not good.
Breakfast on the Club floor needs improving - its very limited and not that good e.g scrambled eggs solid as a rock, poor quality OJ, no orange marmalade
... but, a good hotel in Calgary nevertheless!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimberly777 Weekend with my Daughter
My stay was very positive at this Hotel last Saturday. From arrival to departure the staff and facilities were excellent. I would like to recognize the front desk representative "Trevor" for coming to my Daughter's rescue by loaning her his Iphone Charger as she had forgotten hers at home!
As well the reception was extremely friendly as well as room quality and cleanliness. The only addition I would request would be to have a complimentary Breakfast menu item for guests.

There is not a hotel that I enjoy more than this Sheraton. From the moment you arrive until the time you leave you feel totally relaxed. From the staff (They are simply outstanding) to the food it is everything that my family and I enjoy. I have stayed in each season, lower levels to top levels of this hotel, enjoyed the gym plus pool and then the room service. All I have left to say is thank you for making each time special. Get the limo from the airport as it's only an extra $10.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pezzzzz Technology fail ...Hair in eggs... Valet parking??
Apart from a few issues - our stay was fantastic. Probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. Housekeeping was incredible. Timely and efficient. The housekeepers are likely the hotels best asset. Valet parking attendants leave a bit to be desired.
Simple phone service to obtain your car, order room service etc was near impossible.
I believe the main phone in the suite did not work. If it did, then the Sheraton service is deplorable. Over three days, I tried to call valet parking, concierge and guest services over and over. Each time ringing and ringing until the call cut off. One two occasion I tried calling the above three auto dial preprogrammed extensions over and over with not one call being amswered until I switched to the bedroom phone where the call was answered after 2-3 rings. I informed guest services that I thought the main phone was working but got no response beyond "sorry"... No one came to check the phone and the issue continued until I left.
The only other concern was the valet parking attendants. Valet parking wasn't inexpensive but both on arrival and departure the attendant didn't even offer to help us remove our bags from the trunk. And I'm not young. Despite this I tipped $5 every time I requested my car or dropped it off. There was barely a thank you. Perhaps I'm out of date but thought a tip would at least ensure someone helped w loading and unloading luggage.
And to top it off, Sunday morning Club Lounge breakfast included a long hair well mixed in to the scrambled eggs. Which they removed as soon as I mentioned it. I would have expected the Sheraton public health standards included wearing hair nets in the kitchen. Totally gross.
It's a good hotel even though one of the restaurants was closed and we had the above issues.
I hope someone addresses the phone issue. And suggests that $29/night valet parking should entitle the customer to some assistance. And buys the cooks some hairnets.

Rated 2 out of 5 by G7272 A Hotel in Decline!
The current management is running this place into the ground! They took a great lounge (Barclays) and killed off its business before turning it into a breakfast lounge. The service in the Irish Pub is awful. Not sure what the hotel management's mission is, but a once-great place to meet and socialize/eat/drink has been decimated. Pathetic!

Very pleased with this hotel.
Food availability is a little disappointing being limited to an irish bar downstairs and that is it!
Great location by the river.
Overall very pleased with this hotel and would happily book again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Roface Excellent service, accommodations and location. Can I move here?
Upon evacuating Fort McMurray, due to the forest fires, I arrived at Sheraton Suites after a 14-hr drive from Fort McMurray. I was treated very well upon my arrival. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed.
I suffered an allergy attack during my stay (had almonds that were purchased from an outside store .... must have had a high MSG content .... MSG is horrible!!) - Sheraton staff were on top of their game. They got me the medical attention I needed, swiftly. Thank you!
In-room dining is exquisite. Love the tomato soup! Prices are on the steeper side, but that is to be expected from an establishment of this calibre.
Location - right across the cobbled streets from Eau Claire Market and a few feet away from the beautiful island.
Excellent service, excellent suites, excellent location. This place goes down in the books for me.
