TV, coffee and a hair dryer is about the only thing you'll be provided as part of the room fee. You'll have to pay for WiFi, and if you drink more than 2 cups of coffee, you'll have to pay for that also. It's not the money as much as it is this; even the lesser chains provide more as a show of appreciation of your business for quite a bit less per night. Yes there is also a pool and exercise area, but those too are at the lesser chains.
I really expected more from the Sheraton. By the way, their staff there is excellent!

Nothing about this stay at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport was acceptable - will never stay there again!
Checked in after midnight, no platinum upgrade (no club floor rooms available) - got assigned a low floor room in the middle of a room block for a fraternity convention which was occurring on-property. Walls were paper thin and this group was partying and slamming doors all night long - I slept horribly to say the least.
Club lounge breakfast offering was abysmal (one of the WORST Sheraton offerings I've ever seen) -- cold oatmeal, lukewarm coffee, pitcher of watery OJ, depressing tray of pastries, plate of apples / bananas, and they ran out of yogurt. The lounge attendant had a poor attitude and was nasty to add insult to injury.
Stay away from the Sheraton Charlotte Airport!

My wife and I enjoyed our visit. The Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel has accommodations for pets, which is nice. It is clean, with a very nice interior design aesthetic. The restaurant does its best, but likely doesn't generate enough income to provide an outstanding level of service. Although our meal took quite a while, it was delivered perfectly hot and it was good. The only complaint I have about the Sheraton is the Wi-Fi charge which seems so out-of-date in today's wired world.

We stayed at this location again as we have been to it several times before. As usual, it met our expectations and then some. We are Gold members and were upgraded without even having to ask. We had two rooms and the front desk staff worked to make sure we had connecting rooms, even though one room had a king bed and the other two queen beds. Outstanding staff and service in the SPG reception area on the 8th floor. We will definately stay at this hotel again in the near future.

Again, excellent experience at this hotel. We were recognized as Gold members and upgraded. The upgrade was not exactly what we needed so the staff quickly accommodated with a roll-away which was one of the best we have ever seen in any of our stays. When the bed was brought to the room (we were not there), the staff person made up the roll-away and had it ready to use! Quite impressive. The lady in the Club Lounge was great and we wish her all the best on her trip for her 25th wedding anniversary!

My room was hot , so I called the desk after a long work day, to ask how to get the air conditioner to work. The lady at the desk was very rude and told me to open a window! I could not believe it.. The room was hot and stuffy and I was having a problem with the room airconditioner, that I might add, a person has to get up and stand on a chair to reach due to the fact that it is a window unit. Unacceptable!!! Thank you . I was very dissappointed in the hotel.

Look no further when seeking a hotel by Charlotte Airport. Always assured of a great night's sleep in the genuine comfort of Sheraton beds and feather pillows - much like sleeping at home. The room was spacious and quiet unlike many other airport hotels. Dining room offered lots of variety - dinner and breakfast - with excellent service. A lovely renovated lobby area, including a lovely pool, althought didn't have time to enjoy it. A-plus!

shuttle was slow to pick up at airport and you must be aware that it runs on the half-hour SHARP on the return back to airport .
with spg goldmembership you get free upgrades if available but it was not offered at this hotel. I was told upgraded rooms were available but i would have to pay $50 extra.
if you need a cab to local restaurants or locales, the hotel has its preferred vendor- universal taxi and called them for us. on our return back from a local restaurant, we called a different cab company and it was cheaper by $5. the cab driver dwayne from universal had taken a longer route to yield a higher fare. we informed the hotel upon return but they seemed not to care...don't use the hotel recommended taxi company universal, call someone else or eat at cracker barrel a few blocks away (only restaurant that the hotel provides free shuttle to).

I booked at this hotel because my flight out of CLT was at 6AM the next day and I could use points to get a free room. The room itself was large and comfortable. The carpet was torn and worn in places however the bed was very nice and comfortable and the room was clean. I wasn't told when I checked in that the shuttle to the airport ran only every 1/2 hour but luckily I planned enough time in advance. When I arrived back at CLT I called for a pick up and was told he was on his way. I waited 30 minutes and called back again and was told he'd been there twice. I was waiting where I was told to wait the entire time so there was no way I missed him. Especially when he did show up he parked right in front of me. So staying at the hotel was good, shuttle service is very questionable.

Both times we stayed at the club level of the hotel there were strong smells of wallpaper glue and smoke in the rooms. We needed to open the windows ( with noise of highway outside) to get any fresh air in the room.
We moved once in Dec only to have the glue smell taken over by cigarette smoke. We like this hotel for its proximity to the airport but will stay somewhere else next time due to the poor conditions.

The hotel itself is very pretty although it's starting to show its age. We chose this hotel over other SPG hotels in the area because of the 'heated' indoor/outdoor pool. We traveled in April and it was too cold for the kids to swim which was disappointing. If you're traveling in warmer months though it looks like a fun setup. There's also a huge hot tub that's covered. The staff said it's never worked, which was strange. The front desk and the staff we spoke with were very helpful and friendly. Must have been a busy weekend because we couldn't get a room on club level and even though I called ahead and made a note on my online reservation that we wanted two queens and a fridge and microwave we only got the fridge after I noticed it wasn't in the room. We squeezed two adults and two kids into two double beds. Overall, however, it met our needs, esp since we only spent 3000 pts a night.

I love the Sheraton Charlotte Airport. The meeting/banquet staff is extraordinary and guests are treated with extreme courtesy. Everything in my meeting room was perfect. My sleeping room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I'd particularly like to recognize Bonnie Oliver, Melissa Standard, and Dorsey (banquet setup) for great service.

I have stayed here for business a handful of times, and the hotel has always met my expectations. Rooms are clean, lobby is recently remodeled, and the executive lounge is above average. My only complaint is that they don't always credit the SPG points for the Make a Green Choice program.

The bed cover was beautiful. The facilities for my husband, who uses a wheelchair, were excellent. Getting into and out of the shower was made safe because of the grab bars. I enjoyed taking a shower with the shower head that was there because my husband needed it.

My wife and I travel on I- 85 every 8 to 12 weeks. We try to stop at the Sheraton as we know we will get great service and a very comfortable room. The club room staff is very good and the drink and food selections are good.

My wife and I stay here at least twice annually. Besides great staff, food and comfort, the hotel staff patrols the parking areas. Great peace of mind!

We opted for the Green option of not changing the towels or room service for our 3 day stay and were supposed to get a coupon for the option. We hung the card on the door, but didn't get the coupon with our final bill under the door on the day of departure. We had to go to the front desk and ask for it. Then we learned that you can only use it in the hotel for credit on food purchases and even more disappointing to learn that it expires on the day of departure. Pretty inconvenient to say the least and somewhat misleading language is used on the card promoting this service. It doesn't make it clear what the limitations are and you could a lot better to insure that guests know what to expect if they elect to use this service. I thought I could use the $10 in coupons for use in "other" venues, only to learn that they had to be used in the hotel on the day you depart. I did not want the other option of points for your chain as I don't usually stay at Sheratons. I doubt that I will stay at another either and thank goodness for Facebook and Twitter to make sure everyone knows about our experience and our disappointment with not being able to get any satisfaction in addressing this problem with your staff.

Didn't know the rooms were joined together our room was joined to another guest's room wtih a baby and a dog the sounds from their room were very clear, so for that reason we couldn't rest very good at night

Overall the hotel looks like it's been a while since it's last renovation. Public areas were OK but room floors and rooms look worn. I noticed water damage in the bathroom where it looked like the room above had leaked into my room. Ceiling above the shower was water damaged and looked like mold had started to grow. The carpets are getting old and the fixtures show many years of use. Not what I typically expect from a Starwood hotel. Location is not good for getting outside of the hotel unless you have a car. There are no other businesses around this location other than a gas station in walking distance.
