The bathroom in particular did not meet any standard. The ceiling plaster was open and falling, the wall was damaged by water and the plaster was expanded from water damage, the wall paper was peeling, there was mold in the grout in the tub, the water faucet leaked. Only one digital device could operate at one time on the wireless. The carpet and upholstered chairs were dirty and worn. The lobby was a bit shabby.

This hotel was perfectly located for our visit to Monmouth Beach and the surrounding area. We found the staff very hospitable and helpful. I was disappointed however in the condition of the hotel...I am sure it is just routine wear and tear, but has reached the point where it needs to be refurbished.

Wanted to get away for a few days to the shore & were happy to find Sheraton Eatontown conveniently located about 12 min to the shore with a complimentary shuttle a plus so you don't have to look for a parking place..the rooms are clean and comfortable , the staff very nice & accommodative ..
Will be coming back again soon..

There are things about the hotel we like, the bar/restaurant are very nice, the staff is very friendly. Things that need to be improved is the rooms in general feel very tired/in need of renov, the breakfast buffet was decent but how do you do that without providing any meats at all (bacon, sausage etc.), that's very bad. TNT channel doesn't come in on a playoff game? That's bad. Pool and whirlpool very good!

I have stayed at much nicer Sheraton's in the past. The decor is very dated and service very average. The restaurant staff was very pleasant however. Would probably choose a newer hotel if returning to the area to stay. While they do have nice bedding on top of you, the actual mattress was typical bad hotel mattress so not very comfortable. Overall, the hotel was just average. Nothing exceeding expectations.

This hotel has great staff and we LOVE the restaurant staff (and food) at JR's in particular. the club level floor is beautifully redone for the lounge but the rooms are still disappointing. rooms and bathrooms are outdated and the A/C and Heating system are really noisy. We stay here because we love our starwood points but we are contemplating a change for the next visit unless the rooms get a makeover soon

I ordered 2 turkey club sandwiches via room service as I have done in the past with very pleasant results. This time the turkey was horrible. It was pressed turkey like you would find in the pre-prepared cold cut section in a super market. The was even a gel like substance around edges. I'm disappointed in my self that I didn't send both club sandwiches back. The meal was far below the Starwood standard.

My friends and I loved our stay at this hotel! It met all of our expectations. Our mattress and pillows were probably the most comfortable that I have slept in! Clean rooms and friendly staff! I would highly recommend this hotel to others. We will be back!

Ability to determine what type of "discounts" are available difficult and in effect during a planned stay, not clearly identified for potential customers. Information on the shifting location of lunch and dinner service between 2 areas not well published in the rooms for customers.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider using the Sheraton in Eatontown again, if the occasion arose.

I'm a business woman who travels frequently. I arrived for check-in at night and there was no valet and very poor lighting in the parking lot - didn't feel safe.
Staff either never said anything when I came and left or no one was at the front desk. Housekeeping was atrocious: several used glasses left in the hall across from my room for 2 days. Hallways hot & elevator took forever. Won't go back.

I am a platinum member and own a spg vacation home. The front dest people the day of check in were rude arrogant and she not work for spg. Not onmy were they gonna charge me over $200 for the room when my confirm said $92, they would not upgrade me. The worse part is that I asked for a manager and she kept me waiting for 20 minutes. I will be complaining to platinum services on Monday. Horrific!

I have been going to this hotel for about 15 years. Upon entering my room, I noticed stains on the carpet and chairs. Dust in all corners of room and when I dropped a clothing item I looked under the bed which was a disgusting mess. Upon opening the curtains I found the windows to be covered in dirt (outside).Chairs in restaurant food stained. This hotel needs to be re-done before I will return.

We needed a hotel for several family & friends because of a death in our family. Although we had attended functions here before, we had never stayed there. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The staff was so kind & helpful, left us a tray of cookies with a sympathy note. Continental breakfast was convenient and had everything you could want. Location was great close to everything we needed.

The room was neat and clean with ample amount of space. Every staff member that we spoke with was kind & informative. The pool was perfect for my children, as they could swim from the indoor section to the outdoor section to practice their swim team strokes. The fitness center had plenty of equipment to suit the needs of a thorough workout. Easy to get to from the parkway with ample parking.

To start off the sales guy doesn't even remember working with you. I would call, email and leave messages and would get no response for weeks, than out of the blue he would call as if we were best friends. The day of checkin, my room was supposed to be ready at 2pm per contract and per a conversation from the day before. My room was not ready until after 4pm and I was late to my rehearsal.

We had a great stay, from the club level, to the pool, the lounge, and the staff. We totally recommend this location, easy to find and enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, my kids loved the big bathroom and the TV. Staff was wonderfully nice, very friendly and karaoke on Friday night was a hoot. Our food was excellent. We couldn't have asked for anything better. PS Loved the gym variety.

The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient to the GSP, Routes 18, 36, and 35.
However, the room lacked a room safe and we had to request extra towels; only 2 sets were provided.
The hotel was very accommodating, even de-feathering the room upon request due to my asthma and allergies.

I reserved a block of rooms for my upcoming wedding however the hotel released all unused rooms prior to the contracted deadline. I was offered no explanation as to why the terms of my contract were violated and no remediation was offered. They told me "sorry but there is nothing we can do."

I stayed in a king room with my husband and our 2 year old son. It was very difficult without a fridge. The shower would not stay on without the lever being held up for the first few minutes of the shower manually. And the door did not seem to shut right....
THe negative out of the way...the room was clean, the staff was VERY helpful, and would stay there again.

I stay at this hotel often when in the area for business. it is one of the best choices in that locale. The staff is great and it has a good restaurant and bar on premises. the rooms are badly in need of an update. Beds and bathroom are clean and serviceable but the decor is tired and threadbare. The property overall does not meet the standard that i expect from a SPG property.

At check in, was given key to room 542. Key did not work. Went down to lobby and got new key to room 542. Still did not work. Someone came up to open door and left. As we entered room, found it to be occupied by another guest, who was not in room at the time. Went back down to lobby. Then found out room # should have been 524! First time at Gold level status. Congratulations!

I love the hotel and the staff is always friendly and helpfull. The service at the Bar and the food is always good.
My only issue was on the second night of stay when I woke the room service did not replenish the coffee station in the room.
I have stayed here many times and will continue to stay there.

I chose the Eatontown location because of its proximity to Long Branch Beach. I was only there for the night, but it was very comfortable. The staff was engaging and friendly. My only nusance is what I have with many hotel bathrooms -- lighting. For a woman to put on make-up, you need to bring your own (smile). A small thing, but important to me and I'm sure others as well.

Room needs repairs to heat/cool as it was quite loud. Fan in bathroom did not work - kleenex holder in wall unit broken bath tub had mold which I address to the yound lady at the front desk. My husband said the pillows were dusty--room needs to be updated. . Lobby is beautiful as well as nice restaurant and bar. No FoxNews HD available in room except in bar we were told.

We have always enjoyed our stays at Sheraton Hotels but this hotel was below par. The room was filthy; we couldn't even sit on one of the chairs. The halls was run down. There was no valet so you were left to carry all your stuff in yourself. You also had to park your car yourself. Everything about this hotel was not what was usual for a Sheraton. So disappointed!

Overall, I had a good stay at the Sheraton Eatontown for the 2 nights I spent while at the BIANJ conference.
staff were friendly and courteous, check in was fast. The bed & bedding were great.
I was disappointed that the hotel breakfast was not included in the room rate this year as it definatly offered more then the conference breakfast.
Also, I think that the JR restaurant could have used some more organization. I sat down at the couches around 7:30pm on Weds, waited 10 minutes in my seat as not one staff person acknowledged me. Waitresses were walking around to their tables in the dining section and a woman with a business jacket was clearing tables. Neither of them attempted to communicate w/ me. I finally went up to the bartender and asked for service. Once i spoke w/ him, I got excellent service from that point, that was provided by him, not the waitress. I was very happy w/ my meal and service by the bartender.

When we arrived we went for lunch at the restaurant. Aldo was so funny, we had a fabulous time. Many family members joined us ( we were there for a wedding) and just had a very entertaining time. He is awesome! Front desk should lighten up a little. Maybe Aldo can give them a few Customer Service suggestions. All in all we had a great stay. Rooms were very clean .

The Cleaniness of the Towels were brought into question by the lack of "Whiteness", some of the Towels in our Room were actually closer to Yellow than White. We Needed a refrigerator for Medicine Storage and was charged additionally for what comes standard in Most "A' Standard Hotels. Should We need to stay in that area again, we will look for other Hotels First.
