Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Sheraton in Tempe I chose this hotel for the club level so my husband and I could start the day with breakfast, be comfortable and stay connected to his work. We had some difficult family matters that brought us to town and at the last minute we had to make some reservation changes. Everyone was accommodating and helpful. We had some late nights before we could have dinner together and found the Fire and Spice restaurant to be delicious and convenient. Alright, surprisingly delicious. Parking wasn't a problem after we realized our room was close to the elevator and the back door. This location has great access to many parts of the valley by freeway or city streets, This is my go-to Sheraton in Tempe Arizona. May 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by EXCELLENT! This hotel is always top-notch and reasonable. My wife and I also really enjoy the SPG Club and the Club's morning and evening food and snacks. My wife said as we were leaving, "Sheraton/Starwood really does do lots of little extras." ... I guess that's why we keep coming back! May 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Overall Great The location and accommodations are fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful; particularly Mackenzie at the front desk and Sasha and Heather in the restaurant. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant and makes traveling for work a great experience instead of a burden, like it can sometimes feel. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back! Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel had many local visitors I think my disappointment was situational. The hotel lobby was overly-crowded with non-staying people. There was a Disney audition.....probably 100-150 people in the lobby with many kids. They somewhat took over and had to be walked around....distracting to the hotel experience. Also, I asked for a 315am wakeup call...yes 3:15 am...and did not receive it...good thing I had a backup. May 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Stay My company set me up in this hotel for 4 nights when I went to Phoenix for training. I didn't know what to expect & I was pleasantly surprised. It is a well maintained older property. The staff was very friendly, professional, helpful & funny! My room was average looking but the chair with ottoman was so comfy to kick back in & the bed & PILLOWS were awesome! Best sleep I have had in a long time. The only bummer about the room was no mini fridge & they need new carpet in the rooms. The pool area was really nice & welcoming with plenty of seating & lounge chairs. The pool itself was clean & the perfect temp. The restaurant / bar had delicious food & awesome drinks at reasonable prices. The wait staff was wonderful. I ordered room service 1 night & the gentleman that took care of my order & bringing it to me was awesome! It was conveniently located off the fwy & close to downtown where I had to go every morning for my training. I only wish my hubby was with me to enjoy the stay. If I need to go to Phoenix again, I would stay here again. May 3, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Public areas are nice, rooms not so much. The room quality in this hotel has been decreasing in the year that I've been traveling there. This trip was the worst. My towels were torn, the bathroom was less than clean, a less than working desk chair, only TV, etc. Sucks to be SPG gold and constantly get icky rooms. April 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great front desk staff Stuck at the border, traffic ticket, missed flight.Generally a garbage day. Pretty much had a shoulder to cry on when I got in. Very helpful front desk staff. I only reserved about an hour before I got there but I had a club room waiting. Sometimes it's just nice to have a friendly face after a rough day and these guys were great. Then I got plate of nachos in the bar and they were seriously good!! Stayed here before and always good. Rated 5 out of 5 by Enjoyed Our Stay We have been staying at the Sheraton Phoenix Airport every spring for the last several years and hope to continue this tradition. It has been an excellent location to stay while we watch baseball. The staff works hard to care for our needs. Antonio in the the Fire + Spice Lounge provided exceptional service. Ester and Gloria in the club lounge worked very hard and were a joy to be around. I visited with the Chef "John" I believe and enjoyed his input. The pool area really added to our enjoyment. This and much more makes the Sheraton Phoenix our hotel of choice when we visit Phoenix for baseball. April 16, 2013
