The parking was secure and reasonably priced, compared to any other location within such close proximity to LaGuardia Airport, and NYC. The restaurant was decent and reasonably priced. Rated 5 out of 5 by First Stay Wow! Wow! Wow! What a hotel. It was peaceful, calming, beautiful. The Executive Club actually had a menu with linguini, meatballs, cucumber sandwiches, etc. I was blown away. The staff on point. It was excellent....just wish my stay had been for several nights, rather than the 1 night stay; no issues with transportation back to the airport. I am beliver again. June 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by My Stay The hotel staff was friendly. The property was just not my vibe. I would have preferred another option for dining than the offered restaurant. It was dated and dark. The lobby bar was too small. I loved the unique decor of the hotel room. I was disappointed, however, that for over a 24 hour period, other guest's dining trash was left outside their room and no hotel staff took care of it. April 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Feels like home Irene and Fanny are very pleasant, friendly and polite. Whenever my family stays at the hotel, they always greet us with a welcoming smile. Both of them accommodate to our every need and do it both promptly and happily. Irene and Fanny create an atmosphere that makes us feel at home. Sheraton LaGuardia East is our favorite hotel because of the warm hospitality we receive every time we visit. July 31, 2012

I really like coming back..the warmth and the hospiality is great and wonderful,not to mention the comfort of the rooms. Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has great features We always stay at this hotel, if we come to Flushing. While we stayed on July 19th, we tried to get the ice. I walked from 16 fl to 12 fl, none of the ice make machine working. Finally I got ice from restaurant. It took me 45 minutes to get the ice. Even that, I still like to stay here. August 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience This hotel catered to all of our needs. We arrived early and they made sure our room was ready. Junie the maid got our 2nd room ready ASAP. She was great. The girls at the desk remembered our names the next morning. We forgot one of our bags in the garage and Terry located it and sent it back home to us. Told everyone how friendly this place was! Rated 3 out of 5 by Been Better I have stayed at LGA East before and found the rooms getting a little tired. The carpeting in at the entrance was in dire need of a cleaning and after maintenance tried three different remote controls - I found banging the remote on the night stand allowed the channels to change. The volume controls never worked. I will be back on Dec 3 - please do not put me in room 1417. November 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible Customer Service This is only SPG hotel that I've stayed in as a Gold SPG member who upgraded me upon check in. And they upgraded me to the Concierge level, which I've never had a SPG hotel do this in 15 years. In fact, all the SPG hotels tell me that upgrading to the Concierge Level is not available to Gold Members. I'm starting to believe that the Gold Standard is meaningless with SPG. October 31, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by very disappointing WIFI connectivity had lots of work to get done, and from my room could not get good WIFI connectivity... had to sit in chair right at the room door to only get '1 bar' of signal... would not stay connected and as a result took hours to get the job done... very poor if you are traveling on business and expect to do any work. Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel review The hotel staff was excellent. Rooms were very nice. I wish food choices in the hotel restaurant were more American . Meeting facilities were great. We were not happy about no pool. We were assuming there was a pool and that was our fault, but I would not stay again because of that. Everything else was okay. Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Place To Be! We stayed three nights at this hotel during the hurricane. We were absolutely overwhelmed with the helpfulness of the staff during this time. Everyone was so positive and friendly! Our room was great, the location was full of shops and restaurants and the fitness room was well organized with modern equipment. Rated 1 out of 5 by Sheraton-Deluge dinner experience I had a horrible experience after having dinner at Sheraton's Deluge restaurant with my parents and sister. At the end of the meal, my mother noticed a transparent paper like tissue material with a hair strand on the inner side of the glass in which water was served. Due to the lighting, my mother noticed this almost at the last sip. Distraught, we brought it to the attention of the waiter and then spoke to Susan. Susan initially said "I don't think there was anything in the glass". She then apologized and asked us what she could do to take care of the matter. We asked her what's the best she could offer us. She gave us a 20% off. Considering the lack of professionalism by initially stating that somehow it wasn't there and the lack of sanitation. I don't understand how Sheraton has permitted a such a restaurant to exist in it's hotel. I contacted Sheraton's email address with no response and I intend on taking this matter to the NYC health department. April 28, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice hotel - questionable area... The hotel itself was fine; nothing spectacular. The staff was friendly. However, the neighborhood was predominantly Chinese and for the most part did not take kindly to "outsiders". We were not greeted nor did we feel welcome at the local establishments. Had I known that this was "Queens China town", I would have booked a room elsewhere. November 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Above & Beyond The staff went out of their way to accommodate every request; nice SPG upgrade to enjoy the lounge, fixed a shower issue immediately, sent me up a toothpaste kit when I realized I forgot mine..and when the private car didnt show up on time to pick me up, they picked up the cost to get me to the airport. I really enjoyed my layover stay. August 4, 2012

I was told that a copy would be sent via email, however, our corporate office requires us to get a copy of our bill upon check out. I don't see what it would hurt to give the guest a copy of the bill even if a third party is paying via credid card. August 26, 2013

I checked the website and nothing was available, I called customer care and they transferred me to the property we were trying to stay at. They were able to get a room and I have to say we received the best service. Thank you so much Sheraton. November 14, 2012

Main disappointment was lack of wine/ beer in club lounge should be included at least for 2 hours, like many other airport locations. Better than JFK Hotel options but needs better transportation links. February 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by First stay and more to come This was my first stay at this hotel. The hotel staff was great. Parking is underground valet, but they were very quick to get car in and out, no waiting. Room had older furniture and not to the usual SPG standards I've seen, but it was okay. Very good TV and the view from my room was fantastic. I could see from the Empire State Building all the way around to CT! Great at night. The hotel resteraunt was one of the best I've been to and the price was very reasonable. The food was served very hot, well presented, and was delicious. Drinks were a bit expensive. Only issue is location. It is smack dab in the middle of the "Chinatown" of Queens. Most all of the resturaunts in the area did not have menus in English and did not take credit cards. Since the hotel restaraunt was so good, it wasn't an issue for us. The rooms were very quiet from outside noise, but could hear people in hall and other rooms a little bit. Will always stay here when I'm in the area. Thanks!! September 26, 2012

Front desk recognized my Gold status with SPG. We were given access to the lounge. I would stay at this hotel on future visits to NYC. July 3, 2014

Additionally, the hotel has friendly staff to assist you. Especially, for one from Asia, this is a wonderful hotel with great location for you. Overall, I very enjoyed my stay there. June 25, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel for Non-Business Traveler This hotel deserves highest marks in everything that counts with me for a personal trip: comfortable room/beds, great very responsive staff, quiet rooms and very Starwood Elite friendly. My wife loves the Asian décor. It also is surprisingly convenient to Manhattan via subway (about half a block down the street, and about a 30- 45 minute ride which costs only $2.25 each way – or half this if you are senior). Compared to the $35-40 cab fare from LaGuardia to a Manhattan hotel this is a great bargain. Also if you use points & dollars room is very economical. There are a few minor things that may bother a business traveler, however: the in -room high speed WI-FI is erratic and undependable (got notices to try later system was at capacity etc.). Only one visible plug in bedroom…and that was on desk lamp that was plugged into an outlet with a lot of other things. The concierge lounge is small (two families seem to fill it) and there was no decaf coffee while we were there. June 17, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best of the Best Over the past 2 years coming to this hotel, it never amazes me how they continue providing the best services, staff and rooms. There are other hotels in the area, but I would trade off this hotel. Starwood is very fortunate to have this hotel and staff in their organization. Keep up the great work. May 5, 2012

Each one, to include the wonderful men in the valet garage, made me feel comfortable and welcome. The front desk staff were also most attentive. May 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by don't bring a dog Though this hotel billled itself as pet-friendly, one should absolutely not bring a dog. The doors to ALL the room slam shut very loudly, which prompts many, if not most, dogs to bark loudly. This happened with our dog and kept us up all night. Nicer hotels' doors close gently, slowly and quietly. October 21, 2013
