Rated 3 out of 5 Gave me a key to an occupied room!
The first room they gave us was on the first floor, the farthest possible from check-in. And unfortuntaley after winding our way there, my 13 year old daughter inserted her key to find the room occupied with men's clothes and shoes lying around in the hall. She screamed and jumped back, letting the door close. Thank goodness there wasn't a man there at the time! So of course they gave us a different room on the third floor this time that wasn't occupied. It was a good room, no view of course. But I always like the beds. My only other complaint is there was hair in the bathtub, which is a pet peeve of mine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Loulou Great location
The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we were disappointed with small things that grew to bother us. Our beds were short-sheeted for 2 of our 5 night stay. The front desk had never heard of that and I had to draw her a picture of a mattress with the bottom sheet that was a foot too short. It was finally fixed on the 3rd night. One of the shuttle bus drivers was very controlling, making people line up at Disneyland. So, while we had arrived at the pick up first, we ended up missing the first shuttle and had to wait an additional 20 min. Location is good, but they need more shuttles on busy days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cy222 Nice, comfortable room, but a couple of glitches
We stayed only 2 nights, but there were issues we noticed on the first night, namely that the toilet seat would not stay up when lifted, and the shower would barely drain. We informed hotel staff the next morning, who said that they would fix the issues. When we returned, the problems persisted. We don't know if somebody tried to fix the issues or not. Again, not huge issues, since we were only there 2 nights, but these were issues that should have been dealt with a little bit better. You would think that the maid/cleaning service would have easily noticed both problems long before we checked in?

Rated 3 out of 5 by jdarc800 Close to Disneyland
This hotel is very close to Disneyland so if you have children it is worth the short shuttle ride. Unfortunately the hotel is only partially renovated. The hallways smelled moldy and our room looked nothing like the rooms on the website. It was very old and outdated. The rooms were clean but nothing special. I honestly didn't feel like I was staying at a Sheraton.
Keep in mind that due to its proximity to Disneyland that during the fireworks show, the noise in the hotel was very loud.

We use come to this hotel for the pet friendly service, but this visit was bad. We arrived a little after 4 pm. Our room was not ready and had to wait an hour, and was told by out check in host, that she would call us to let us know when the room was ready, which she did not. We ask several times for bell man, no one came, we had to get our own luggage cart and take our luggage to our room, which smelled like cat pee. The worst part was when Carol at the front desk check us in and never told me that they take money off your debit card with out notifying you. $300 was taken off my card the day after we check in. The place is run down and needs a lot of improving, for the price they are asking.

There is a hidden parking fee that you are not told about until you check in and the explanation I got about this fee was completely unacceptable. There is ample parking at this hotel unlike some of the other hotels closer to Disneyland.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jon213 Solid Disneyland Hotel stay
I knew full well going into the stay that the hotel had some mixed reviews. Rooms were huge - we had adjoining rooms which was great. Rooms were a bit on the tired side. Nothing glaring - just need new carpet ect. But for the price and location was a good option. Didn't go in the pool. Buffet in the morning was fine. Shuttle to Disney was great and timely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kenza55 One Step Below a Westin but Good
Although the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly, there were little things that showed the age of the hotel. For instance, it still has the popcorn acoustic ceilings, shower curtains, bathroom door painted over many times, old windows, tiny pool and spa area and the roof of the building is falling apart. The light stand lamp shade was broken . We had the breakfast buffee which was marginal and would not try that again but would look for another place nearby. We stayed here since we had points to use and it was close to Angel Stadium where we watched the Angels play.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Zed2020 Refurbish
The hotel is generally very 'inviting,' but probably needs some refurbishing in selected areas. One of the rooms we stayed in had some old, tacky and very smelly furniture. We moved. A little more attention to cleaning and maintenance details would go a long way. It appears they are constantly working on these issues.
The spg continental breakfast was all carbs and sugar ... not real healthy ... zero protein. The coffee and creamers were awful! The machine-coffee in the Deli was exceptionally undrinkable. I threw it away after a sip. The artificial creamer (actually 'plastic milk') there is probably dangerous. Great salads though!
On the bright-side: the staff, to a person, is outstandingly excellent ... very friendly and accommodating! They corrected a couple of obvious problems ... IMMEDIATELY. Because of the great staff, my family and I would stay at the Sheraton Anaheim again!
BTW/OMG ... Terrific shuttle service to Disneyland!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Disney5 Good Features Convenient to Disney, but Lacking
Let's be honest, this hotel is all about catering to guests going to Disney. In that regard, service was outstanding! Really couldn't have been better. Hotel staff always bent over backwards for my family of five.
For the ugly, when I called in advance for a crib, staff was unwilling to guarantee it. I had to call SPG to intervene because that was a "no go" item. On check-in, no mention of my preferred status. The bed wasn't the heavenly bed you expect with SPG. Didn't think it would be a game breaker until we failed to get adequate sleep each night due to discomfort and springs popping under us. We laughed it off a few times, but it's not exactly what you expect in a Starwood brand hotel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by awapuhilani exceeded my expectations.
was;nt expecting it to be as nice as it was. the picture of this hotel that i saw in a brochure, showed it no justice. it was pleasantly nice and so was the staff. the starward preferred room i had was large(except the bathroom).it worked but could of been roomier.the room had a backdoor that opened out to a courtyard(we were on the bottom floor)per request, and very close to the lobby. whenever we go back, and we will,i will request that area again.it was great to just walk out and jump on the shuttle( that's a plus). stayed out another sister hotel in june but, will come back to this one instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by jh4good Nice hotel but getting stingier by the day
I have been staying at Sheratons for about 10 years now and have never had one that would not allow me to take my food/drinks from the club lounge to my room. Most will comp me and my family breakfast and/or the club lounge, this one I had to pay $30 a day for, and then I couldn't take my food back to my room! This is an absurd policy and made things very inconvenient. The room was clean but poorly laid out - no outlets by a usable mirror, and the one big mirror near an outlet was behind the TV. I don't think I'll stay here again. I'll try the one that charges less money/points up the street.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Aziz112 Very bad staff and management. Need training in politeness
The reception staff were rude. The reception line supervisor was also rude and needed training on how to treat hotel guests. The hotel manager was so ignorant of his staff behavior and refused to meet with me on several requests and told his staff to say he was walking around hotel. I left my number and never got a call back. Bathroom is so tiny only one person can fit in it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pam407 Good location, needs renovation
The hotel was conveniently located and met our needs. The room was very large, but the bathroom was so small that two people could not fit in it at the same time. It needed to be improved a lot. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the best! The pullout couch was great for our daughter but there were stains all over the cushions. The overall space was not used well and was oddly furnished.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Addisongreen Should Not be Classified as "Sheraton" level
Of all the Sheratons that we have stayed at around the world this would have to be the most disappointing. Of the standard level of "Sheraton" service, this hotel seems to be lacking in most, if it was reclassified to a lower level SPG brand it would not be as disappointing.
The hotel really needs an upgrade. Whilst the pool areas is fine and good for families, the rest of the hotel is not in great repair and it has a mouldy smell. If you are staying in an Executive Club Room you have to pay for beverages in the lounge. The rooms are serviceable, the breakfast area is good for kids. There is a bus that takes people every half hour to Disneyland. This hotel is away from the "strip".
Ok, the good - the hotel is possibly a good place for families to stay when going to Disneyland. Would we stay here again if returning to the area - no.

Rated 3 out of 5 by EX3A Fair...nothing to get too excited about!
Cons: Arrived at check in time and room was not available forcing alternate dinner plans since we needed to setup the room for the kids. Toilet didn't flush and the carpets need to be replaced. Club Lounge didn't have a nearby facility, needed to go down the hall, down the elevator and to the lobby to take my little one to the potty. Very close to freeway and you hear the car noise (and we were furthest away) . Club lounge strict policies on taking out food,...tough to eat on the go.
Pros: SPG Gift was nice, button to celebrate daughters bday was fun. Grounds were clean. Beds nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lien Overall good except restaurant
Quite a good place to stay. Font desk staff able to provide guest needs, there minor charges accidentally which was corrected promptly upon brought up to attention. Shuttle is quite a plus compared to the other sheraton, concerning to proximity. Room upgrade not available unfortunately. Restaurant and its polcy is quite ridiculous. Breakfast is ok, mediocre compared to other spg hotels. Beware of your baby just sitting on the breakfast buffet, got a cup of milk or just plain cup of water and got charged full charge on the bill of $8.95 plus tax and tips. Just known that this breakfast restaurant implement any charge for kids 3 and under at full price regardless they are eating anything or not which is quite amazing.

Allways knew sheraton for great places to stay, but this time around it failed. Room was good, but AC was not working. When I complainted to the front desk, the staff was unable to help and we had to sleep on an 85 degree room with windows open. After a room change, we found a very old room with furniture that was old, broken apart, and with missing pieces and the Matresses needed some help. The people in the hotel a very friendly, but the hotel rooms need some work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LisaW1234 Great Customer Service
The room and facility seemed like it was lovingly worn and that many, many families had come through the facilities. I think it's time for some upgrading. Everything' was surely good enough, but compared to other Sheraton properties, this was slightly below par. On the positive side--VERY POSITIVE--was that the customer service was outstanding. We had special dietary needs that were cared for very nicely by Chef Ismael, the front desk staff was lovely, and even small needs were attended to in the best way possible. If I am in Anaheim again, I would consider this hotel again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Shar46 Don't stay here
Dark, dirty, musty and mouldy. We changed rooms twice because of all the problems we were having (plugged bathtub drain, running toilet, creepy critters and the awful smell). No one seemed to care, except for one staff person who helped us change rooms twice. Would not stay here again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cathy408 Great location
This is a nice hotel, just down the street from Disneyland. Free shuttles run every half hour. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The bistro in the hotel is very good and so was the breakfast buffet. Family friendly. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the outdated feel of the hotel. The rooms are large but the bathroom was barely big enough to get thru the door. SPG member benefits for staying here were great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NoNickname4me Staff needs training
I booked a stay at the Sheraton for my daughter and son-in-law to attend a convention in Anaheim. They were offered the amenity of free internet when checking in, which is what I expect as an SPG member. At check-out, they were billed for internet because they were not SPG members. If that is the policy, they never should have been offered that amenity at check-in. It was an ugly upsetting end to what had been a nice stay.

If Ihad a choice iI believe I should be refunded for half my stay. We were there with leukemia lymphoma society to run a marathon through anaheim. Our hotel room failed to have working air conditioning for all of the first day of our stay. I complained 3 times to the desk. Maintenance showed up waived his temp wand and said he would be back with c02. He never came back. Finally after my girlfriend went down to the desk explained we had a 5 month old baby in the room. Maintenance came back this time with a second guy. Room was 80 degrees all day.humidity outside was 85%. My daughter screamed her head off. At 1030 at night he finally came in with a second guy and co2. He hardly spoke english and was asian. I deserve a partial refund

I had stayed here bec it's closed to Disneyland but I had talked to the Manager herself and she was very rude. I had asked to be upgraded to a suite but didn't even bother to look into it. I won't stay here again. Very disappointed.

The beds at the Sheraton are so comfortable. It's like sleeping at home in your own bed. I always enjoy staying here whenever I'm in the area. We had the King bed w/a chair & love seat in the room. It was really nice.
We went to Disneyland that day and wanted to relax and have a few drinks. The bar was still open but only for 20 mins by the time we got there. It would've been nice if they would stayed open longer, see how we were the only ones looking for a drink at 11:40pm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KenB A Great Hotel, But Problems With This Stay
I stay at this property often because I am a Disney Annual Passholder and travel to Disneyland several times a year. I love it's convenient location and shuttle to the park. The rooms are huge and comfortably appointed.
On this stay, however, my room had a noticeable pet odor, which was very disappointing! Also, as I've mentioned before, the hotel's WiFi Service is really slow. I suspect most people don't try to use it, but I need to do business even during my leisure trips. It really bothers me to have to pay for internet service and then have it be substandard.

I was blown away by the great service we received at the front deck. My daughter and I arrived around 1pm and I knew we were pushing it to get an early check-in and an upgrade being a Starwood Gold Member. The front desk lady (sorry, forgot your name!) was extremely pleasant and put a rush on our room. Sure enough, I changed my mind in wanting 2 queens instead of 1 king and she was happy to accommodate us.
Room was large but did need to be upgraded. Bathroom was on the smaller side.
Shuttle to Disneyland was always on time and pleasant.
Will definitely be back!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dean71 Sheraton Anaheim
Staff was great and shuttle was awesome to get to and from Disneyland. Getting a Club Room with my points was a bit challenging but worked out in the end because of the helpful Front Desk staff. Club room was handy but it would have been nice to have extended hours like many of the other Sheratons we stayed in. There were a couple of times where the door was locked as the staff were on a break? It was closed by 7PM each night and evening snacks would have been better utilized even if they stayed open until 9PM. Great view of the fireworks from the front entrance.
