My wife & I stayed at this hotel on 9/29 & 9/30/09. This is a beautiful hotel that is well maintained, clean and great rooms, friendly and helpful staff. I would not only recommend this hotel but I would stay here any time I come back to Key West.--Carmen.S
we love key west, we go every year, and of all the places we have stayed the sheraton key west suites has been the best time so far.--Kevin.K
We have been Starwood members since our first visit with Sheraton in Virginia Beach 4 or 5 years ago. Since we've stayed at Sheraton in Chatanooga, Norfolk, New Orleans and most recently in Key West Florida. Our Starwood Suite was sweet! In fact all of our Sheratons stays have been in first rate world class facilities. The service has been consistently superior. As Starwood members we have earned and used several free nights. We still have a couple of free nights. We're hooked. I think Niagra Falls is next or maybe Paris, but whatever cool place we want to go, there is a Sheraton where we will definitely be staying. Good on ya Sheraton.--Andy & Teresa.W
We spent New Year's Eve at the Sheraton in Key West. Just across the street is an awesome beach, which is hard to find in the Keys. They even have a stretch just for pets. The night life for the Holiday is hard to be topped, the most entertaining I have ever seen. We loved the hotel and the location!--Barbara.B
Our Stay was fantastic at the Sheraton Suites in Key West, FL. The room was very modern and comfortable. It was pretty close to all the attractions, and the beach across the street was great! There was a small complication with our check in, and we were compensated very generously. But the best part of our stay was Shelly the cabana bartender! Not only were her drinks fantastic but we had great conversation and she helped give us directions to local attractions as well as made suggestions of beaches etc, that turned out lovely! The concierge also set up a fantastic sunset sail cruise!--Bayleigh.S
We just returned from Key West and would highly recommend one of the sunset schooners. You can't beat th few or the price. We also enjoyed renting a scooter. It's the best way to get around since you can park it just about anywhere.Enjoy!! Hope Schang and Ron Corkins--Hope.S
When you go to Key West you must participate in the activities in Mallory Square at sunset like my husband did. Great Fun!!!! Jane G.--Jane.G
When you visit Key West, you must visit the sunset festival. Each night is a major holiday with a party/carnival on the dock. Shop, party and then sit on the edge of the dock with 1000 other people and enjoy a spectacular sunset.--Dena.D
Key West's best beach is Fort Zachary Taylor. Amazing blue water & sky. It is an abosolute must.--Dena.D
When in Key West, Florida you must go to Mallory Square to see the spectacular sunset. The Celebration that happens each night consists of art, jewelry, and craft vendors, food carts, musicians, magicians, pet shows, and you might even spot a bride and a groom dancing till the sun goes down. As the sun sinks into the Gulf of Mexico that crownd goes quiet and the warm breeze off the water is undeniably tranquil. Grab a glass of champagne and your sweetheart and I rpomise, you won't be disappointed.--Tricia.K
SUNSET AT MALLORY SQUARE KEY WEST FLORIDA IS A MUST DO. THERE IS A CARNIVAL ATMOSPHERE AND BEAUTIFUL SCENERY.--Joan.D
If you ever get the chance to travel to the Florida Keys, don’t forget to charter or rent a fishing boat. It is not the size of the fish that matters but the beauty that surrounds you. We were fortunate enough to have the company of sea turtles, dolphins, birds a school of flying fish and the fishing was great too. Every time you put out a line you came up with something, even though sometimes we weren’t sure what it was? Talk about getting away! It is the perfect way to spend a day! If your catch looks good enough to eat most of the local restaurants are happy to prepare it for you any way listed on the menu and you captain or a dock hand will usually fillet them up lickety split! It is something you’ll remember for a lifetime!--Jolene.H
Key West, FL is fun to visit anytime of the year. However, it's well worth a visit for New Year's Eve. Instead of a giant ball being dropped in Times Square, a drag queen is lowered in a replica of a red satin shoe. It's great fun!--Carole.C
This is beautiful and picturesque KEY WEST, FLORIDA. They are known for their expansive beaches, endless snorkeling/diving opportunities, colorful reefs, bountiful and varied fish, and breathtaking sunsets. The food is fresh, the people are laid back, and the trip is memorable. I felt like a professional photographer taking this picture, but it was the sunset of the Florida Keys that was my muse! You can lay back in a hammock and allow the scenery to become your entertainment. Or, you can explore the sea, the varied tropical themed shops, or the nightlife that is as colorful as the coral reefs. However you choose to vacation, it will be a memory etched in your mind to relive for years to come!--Beth.M
When in Key West, spend an afternoon in the Dry Tortugas. Take an early afternoon seaplane to Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas and you will arrive just as the ferry leaves. That means you will have the entire island and fort mostly to yourself. Enjoy snorkeling around the outside of the fort. Relax on the sandy beach. Walk around the fort. Watch the bird on the nearby preserve. On the way back keep your eye out for sea turtles and shipwrecks.--Sharon.D
Fort Jefferson, off of Key WestStory: We visited Key West during the cold winter months of the North East. Key West was paradise to us and we went to Fort Jefferson for a day trip. The water was many shades of green and blue. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen--Jennifer.K
While in Key West, we visited the Hemingway House and Museum. The landscaping is lush and beautiful and the six toed cats wander the grounds.--Jennifer.K
