A lively exhibition kitchen, wood-burning fireplace and stunning views create an inviting backdrop for superb cuisine at the J&G Grill. Every aspect of this comfortable yet elegant hideaway realizes signature Jean-Georges sophistication far from home.
The refined elegance of J&G Grill is an expression of understated style with highly polished Venetian plaster walls warmed by the glow of a double-sided wood burning fireplace. Walls are clad in gray quartz stacked stone below the ceiling framed in walnut ceruse beams. Classic herringbone carpet introduces a styling motif that is repeated in the marble wall finish of the open grill.
Custom walnut furnishings reflect clean lines in the modern styling and incorporate high grade burl veneers. The colors are light and crisp. Luxurious velvet drapes frame floor to ceiling windows with magnificent slopeside views, providing the backdrop to soft off-white leather wrapping oval banquettes. Lighting fixtures are fresh and modern, the clean lines introducing an urban sensibility to the mountainside retreat.
J&G Grill combines a curated selection of Jean-George Vongerichten’s greatest appetizers, gourmet pizzas, side dishes and accompaniments from his portfolio of domestic and international restaurants around the world. Each dish is created with the highest quality meats and freshest local fish available in the market. Simply grilled preparations accompanied by bold condiments anchor the J&G Grill dining experience at The St. Regis Deer Valley.
At every opportunity, Chef de Cuisine Richard Samaniego incorporates the principles of slow food and farm-to-table cooking in the menus. Seamless service, intriguing wines, brews and specialty cocktails are all part of the Jean-Georges experience.
J&G Grill invites intimate dinners at the Chef’s Table with 14 seats in a glass-enclosed dining room overlooking the Deer Hollow ski run, or on the adjoining outdoor Chef’s terrace.
Featuring sommelier selections of global wines and home to The St. Regis Cognac Ritual, the Wine Vault surrounds guests with plush red banquettes and black leather walls, creating a wonderful sanctuary dedicated to sensory pleasures.
Two adjacent private Wine Vaults offer storage for 4,000+ bottles of wine in beautifully designed spaces dedicated to culinary enthusiasts who wish to celebrate fine wines with intimate private parties, receptions, Winemaker Dinners and exclusive St. Regis experiences. The world’s finest wines are always perfectly complimented with customized menus by our Chef de Cuisine, Richard Samaniego.
The Terrace Café is open during the winter season with operating hours subject to weather conditions. Site of the traditional St. Regis Champagne Ritual, the cafe's outdoor area, known as the Mountain Terrace, is surrounded by a dramatic "Garden of Fire." In the summer and fall months, it makes a delightful outdoor venue for receptions, ceremonies and celebrations.
The Library offers a tranquil setting, comfortable seating, and a selection of books, newspapers, and magazines for guests’ enjoyment. Stop in for an array of complimentary hot beverages, from fine coffees to superb hot chocolate, any time from 6am to 10am.
In the afternoon, guests find the Library a delightful spot to re-energize after a day exploring the scenic Wasatch Mountains while enjoying hot and cold beverages.
The St. Regis Bar offers a light menu created by Jean-Georges Culinary Concepts and a variety of specialty cocktails. Honoring a long-standing tradition, each St. Regis hotel creates its own signature Bloody Mary—a variation on the original recipe dating back to 1934 in New York. At The St. Regis Deer Valley, 7452 Mary (a nod to the resort's altitude) is an enticing blend of fine oat-distilled Vodka 7000 from local High West Distillery and a regional salt rim garnished with a Wasabi-Celery foam.
Also paying homage to St. Regis tradition, the bar is graced with a commissioned mural. The St. Regis Deer Valley Bar features a triptych reflecting Park City’s history as a silver mining town by artist Phillip Buller.
