Here, amid the architectural splendor and lush grounds of The St. Regis Monarch Beach, Spa Gaucin has embraced that lifestyle approach to total body wellness. The spa encapsulates all elements of an uncompromising spa experience—from fitness and wellness treatments to fresh food, wine, and moments spent basking in the sun with friends and loved ones.
To fully experience Spa Gaucin, we recommend arriving early and setting aside an entire day to indulge in our premier facilities. Individuals, couples, and small parties are invited to begin each visit with a traditional coin toss into the Well of Desires, symbolically beginning their celebration of love, life, and wellness.
Guests may begin with a workout in the spa’s superbly equipped fitness center and movement studio—perhaps for a private yoga or Pilates session—or glide through the three-lane lap pool before lounging in the whirlpool under a cascading waterfall. One may also enjoy a relaxation session in the saunas, steam baths, and whirlpool. Warming muscles before a massage and opening pores prior to a facial, these soothing facilities are an effective introductory step in detoxifying and purifying the body.
Then, guests can retreat to one of 24 treatment rooms or five romantic couples’ suites. Expert aestheticians and therapists stand ready to transport guests with a tempting menu of completely customizable treatments. Many of the spa’s treatments draw on the naturally beneficial pleasures of California and the Mediterranean, such as Chardonnay, grape seeds, and figs. The wellness journey can be completed with a post-treatment nap in a restorative tranquility lounge and a healthy meal at our organic café.
Spa Gaucin therapists are thoroughly trained, highly professional males and females. Unless guests state a preference for one gender, bookings are scheduled with the first available therapist. To ensure tranquility for all, we ask that cell phones be turned off. A 20% service charge is included on all treatments, but guests may adjust this gratuity at their discretion.
The spa staff appreciates the courtesy of 24-hour advance notice should guests need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 100% charge per guest. Calls made within 24 hours will incur a $40 rescheduling fee.
