Amid the architectural splendor and lush grounds of The St. Regis Monarch Beach, Spa Gaucin provides a sanctuary of sensuality and wellness. Expert aestheticians and therapists stand ready to transport guests with a tempting menu of signature or customized treatments. Many of the spa's treatments draw on the naturally beneficial pleasures of Mediterranean and California treasures, such as wine, grapeseed, olives, rosemary and figs.
Individuals, couples or small parties are invited to begin each visit with a traditional coin toss into the Spa Gaucin Well of Desires, symbolically beginning their celebration of love, life and wellness. Then, guests retreat to one of 25 treatment rooms, four romantic couples’ suites, a tranquility lounge, eucalyptus steam room and sauna, or Spa Gaucin's superbly equipped fitness center and movement studio, perhaps for private yoga or pilates sessions. Or, they may glide through the three-lane lap pool or lounge in a whirlpool under a three-story, cascading waterfall. Spa Gaucin also offers a full-service salon and a professional medical wellness center. Think of it as the ultimate place to stress less and live more.
In order to make the most of a spa visit, please arrive 30 minutes prior to service allow a leisurely check-in and time to slip into a comfortable spa robe and slippers. Then, simply relax in one of the spa's peaceful lounge areas.
Resort guests are invited to linger and enjoy all spa facilities with a booked spa treatment. Without a treatment, the spa facility is available to resort guests for a $25 fee. Use of Spa Gaucin's fully equipped fitness center is complimentary to all resort guests.
Spa Gaucin provides a delightful setting for corporate groups, bridal parties, or private gatherings. Please contact the spa group coordinator at (949) 234-3367 for a customized itinerary and group pricing.
Cancellation Policy
The spa staff appreciates the courtesy of 24-hour advance notice should guests have to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 100% charge per guest. Calls made within 24 hours will incur a $40 rescheduling fee.
Spa Rituals
Spa Gaucin therapists are thoroughly trained, highly professional males and females. Unless guests state a preference, bookings are scheduled with the first available therapist. To maintain the benefits of tranquility for all, we ask that cell phones be turned off. The spa includes a 20 percent service charge on all treatments, but guests may adjust this gratuity at their discretion.
