Often described as the queen of body treatments, the Javanese Lulur has been practiced in the palaces of central Java since the 17th century as a purifying ritual before marriage. This voyage begins with a hand and foot ritual adorned with an organic herbal foot soak to ground and relax you.
An herbal steam opens up and detoxifies the body, followed by an exotic Lulur scrub that bestows a natural glow. A warming and moisturizing herbal body mask is then applied while the body is enveloped into a warm and secure cocoon. The ritual ends with a warm shower followed by an hour-long traditional Balinese massage that is infused with aromatic oils.
