Currency Fluctuations
For non-US hotels, rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the hotel at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within the hotel's control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card. Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.
Hotel Policies
Age Requirement Policy
To register for a room or suite, guests must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Babysitting/Child Care Policy
Babysitting services can be arranged through the Housekeeping department. A minimum of four hours is required. Nanny services are also available upon request. A fee will apply.
Cheque Policy
Personal cheques are not accepted as method of payment. Company cheques are accepted as long as they're received by the hotel at least 5 working days before check-in.
Cheque cashing service is not available.
Early Departure Policy
In the event of early departure, 48 hours notice (by 2pm local time) of the revised departure date is required to avoid the same penalty.
Extra Bedding Policy
A rollaway bed for children over 12 is 75GBP plus VAT per night. Rollaway beds can be placed in Executive rooms and suites.
Cribs are provided upon request. Hotel does not provide blankets, bumpers or pillows with the cribs. Guests must bring their own.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.
Gift Certificate Policy
Accept only gift certificates issued by The Lanesborough.
Maximum Occupancy Policy
The maximum occupancy for all room types is three persons. Please contact our hotel directly if you wish to have more than three (including children) in a room.
Pet Policy
Small, well-behaved dogs are allowed. Please notify the hotel prior to arrival. Dogs must be leashed and muzzled in public areas and when being walked by hotel staff.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Smoking Policy
Due to the United Kingdom’s smoking ban, all public areas of the hotel are non-smoking. Guests may still smoke in their designated smoking guest rooms and the Garden Room Bar is also available for Cigar smokers during specified times.
Visa/Passport Policy
Passport required for all non UK residents.
Voucher Acceptance Policy
No pre-paid vouchers accepted.
