Exterior Enhancements Until October 31, 2016
Until approximately October 31, 2016, please note that there are exterior enhancement works in progress for the resort. During this time, all of the resort’s amenities and services remain open and unaffected. Guests can expect the potential for intermittent noise in outdoor areas of the resort. Every effort is being made to minimize interruptions to the guest experience during this time. Please visit www.stregisbalharbour.com/newlook for imagery as well as a timeline of the enhancements.
The hotel is compliant with federal government regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act. Room amenities include TDD, close-captioned TV, handrails in bathroom by the bathtub and toilet, lowered toilet seats, roll-in showers, lower door peepholes and handicap parking. Please contact our concierge for TDD equipment set-up.
We are pleased to serve alcoholic beverages to guests over 21 years old.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests of the resort must be 21 years old to register. We request that minors be accompanied by an adult.
Babysitting/Child Care Policy
We are pleased to facilitate professional babysitting and child care services. The concierge will provide guests with a list of options.
EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy
Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel. If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN.
We regret that checks are not accepted as method of payment.
Check cashing services are available with a maximum limit of $100 per day for Gold SPG Members and $300 for Platinum SPG Members. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms are available and there is one pair per floor. Deluxe Ocean View Rooms and Grand Luxe Ocean Front Rooms offer connecting rooms (king to queen/queen room). In addition, Grand Luxe Studio Suites connect to Grand Luxe Ocean Front Suites which create a two-bedroom suite experience.

Early Departure Policy
We are pleased to accommodate early departures upon request. However, additional fees may apply. For departures one-day prior to the scheduled date, guests incur a charge equivalent to a half night's room rate. Guests departing more than one day ahead of their scheduled date will incur a fee equal to a full night's stay.
Early Arrival Policy
While we are unable to guarantee early check-in, we will do our best to accommodate requests based on availability.
Extra Bedding Policy
It is our pleasure to offer rollaway beds upon request for $25 per stay, while cribs are complimentary. Please note that rollaway beds are only permitted in king bedrooms and only one crib is permitted per room.
Gift Certificate Policy
Reservations using valid Gift Certificates must be made using the method stated on the Gift Certificate and can only be reserved directly with the resort. All Gift Certificate reservation requests are based upon availability and blackout dates apply. The Gift Certificate must be presented at check-in.
ID Requirement Policy
The hotel will accept any government-issued photo ID as identification.
Late Checkout Policy
We are pleased to accommodate late checkouts based upon availablity. In the case of a late checkout before 4pm, an additional fee, based on room type, will apply. For checkouts after 4pm, a full night's room rate plus tax will apply.
Package Handling Policy
We are happy to accept, hold and ship packages on behalf of hotel guests. There is a $10 handling fee, per package for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact our concierge for more information on surcharges.
The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is delighted to welcome pets. We permit one dog (25lbs or less) per room and provide the following amenities for their comfort: a dog bowl, bed and mat, and Pet Welcome Kit. Guests are required to sign a liability waiver at check-in and a non-refundable $125 deposit plus a daily $25 cleaning fee per room, per stay will apply.
We kindly ask that guests observe the following regulations when traveling with their pets:
- To utilize the 'Dog in Room' door hanger at all time.
- To keep all dogs are kept on a leash when outside the room. Please note that we do not permit pets in the hotel's meeting rooms or restaurants.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an additional $250 per day to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms and internal public areas. A cleaning fee of at least 500 USD per incident will be added to a guest’s bill if evidence of smoking is found in a guest room. If further attention to the room is required, additional fees may apply. Fees will be assessed at management’s discretion.
