Travel Information for Punta Mita
Please note that the Punta Mita region is not included in the US State Department Mexico Travel Warning. The resort area is very safe and is located inside a gated, secure and exclusive compound. Transfers to and from the airport and other locations are via a private luxury transfer service. Please contact the resort for additional information.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to reserve and check-in to a room.

Connecting rooms are available but cannot be guaranteed. Please note the following:
2 Deluxe Superior rooms do not connect

Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaways and child rollaways are available for a fee. Deluxe rooms with one king bed can accommodate one rollaway bed only. A rollaway bed cannot be placed in Deluxe rooms with two queen beds. Suites can accommodate a maximum of two rollaway beds.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult, maximum 2 children allowed. For larger families, please reserve 2 connecting rooms or a suite connected to an additional room.
Travel Insurance Policy
The resort will not waive late cancellations or no-show fees due to medical or health issues, weather conditions or expired travel documents. It is recommended that guests purchase travel insurance prior to their stay.

Early Arrival Policy
Early arrivals are subject to availability. To confirm an early arrival, the night prior should be reserved.
Early Departure Policy
Please be advised that a fee equal to the remaining stay plus taxes will apply to all early departures.
Please present a valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, valid ID card) upon check-in.
Late Checkout Policy
Complimentary late checkouts until 2pm are subject to availability. A fee equal to 50% of the nightly room rate applies for late checkouts between 2pm and 6pm. After 6pm, the full nightly room rate applies.
We are pleased to serve alcoholic beverages to guests over age 18.
Child Care & Children's Club Policy
We are pleased to offer professional child care services.
Children ages 5-12 have access to the children's club. We ask that parents remain in the resort while children are enrolled in any of the programs.
Currency Exchange Policy
As per the Mexican law, the property is subject to restrictions on foreign currency exchange. This includes the United State Dollar to the Mexican Peso and the Mexican Peso to the United State Dollar. The resort recommends that guests conduct currency exchange transactions at the airport or in a bank.
We are delighted to welcome pets to our resort. We permit one dog or cat (18 lbs/8 kg or less) per room and provide an array of amenities for their comfort (bed, scoop, toy).
The pet fee is a non-refundable 65 USD per day. We ask that guests sign an agreement to pay any additional cleaning bills or repairs that may arise as a consequence of keeping a pet in the guests' room.
We kindly ask that guests observe the following regulations when traveling with their pets:
Please use the "Dog/Cat in Room" door hanger at all times.
Keep dog/cat on a leash when outside the room.
Please note that we do not permit pets in the resort's restaurants and bars, Remède Spa, Children's Club, the exercise room or the meeting rooms.
Health & Well-Being Policies
Smoking is not permitted inside any guest room or suite. All accommodations include a balcony or terrace where smoking is permitted.
The resort is pleased to accept Traveler's Checks. We regret that personal checks are not accepted as a method of payment.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
