Transportation to the resort from Velana International Airport (MLE) is by seaplane. This is an additional charge which will be paid directly to the resort on arrival. Guests are kindly advised that seaplane schedules are determined one day prior to arrival or departure and that flights take place only during daylight hours. For this reason, reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. The resort is not responsible for supplementary charges incurred as a result of cancelations by Trans Maldivian Airways. Mandatory Dinner Supplements: December 24 & 31, 2018
On December 24 and December 31, 2018, please note that there are mandatory gala dinner supplements for all guests. The Christmas Eve dinner is 395 USD per person and the New Year's Eve Dinner is 895 USD per person. Children 11 years of age and under receive a 50% discount. Prices are subject to tax and service charge. Please contact the resort for more information.
Age Requirement Policy
All guests of the resort must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room. We request that minors be accompanied by an adult.
Extra Bedding Policy
It is our pleasure to offer rollaway beds and cribs upon request. Adult and child rollaway beds for children up to 12 years of age are subject to a supplementary fee. Cribs are complimentary.
Family Plan Policy
We recommend that families reserve a Family Villa with beach access. Children who are 11 years old or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room with a paying adult.Overwater Villas, Sunset Overwater Villas, and St. Regis Suites cannot accommodate guests younger than 8 years old; a legal guardian must sign a waiver for 8- to 12-year-olds. Children of any age must not be left unsupervised.It is our pleasure to offer rollaway beds and cribs upon request. Cribs are complimentary while rollaway beds are subject to a supplementary fee which is already included in the rate. Check-In & Checkout Policies
Early Arrival Policy
Standard check-in time is 3pm. An early check-in may be requested, but cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability. To guarantee an early check-in, your reservation should include the night prior to your arrival. Please contact the resort for further information.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee may be imposed on guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date. Fees may be up to 100% of their confirmed length of stay. Please contact the resort for further information.
ID Requirement Policy
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and proof-of-age card. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation.
Late Checkout Policy
We are pleased to accommodate late checkouts based upon availability. An additional fee equivalent to one night's room rate will apply. Please contact the Front Desk staff for further information.
We are pleased to serve alcoholic beverages to guests over 18 years with valid photo identification.
Please be advised that we strictly prohibit guests from using drones within the premises of the resort as our guests’ privacy is of our utmost concern. Any promotional videos or photos taken using drones that the resort uses were done before the resort was opened for guests and by a hired professional. Occasionally guests do use drones within the premises of the resort without our acknowledgement and such acts are brought to an immediate halt as soon as it is brought to our attention.
While we greatly appreciate our guests' four-legged companions, the resort does not accept pets.
SPG Participation Disclaimer
All accommodations are villas and suites; therefore, Starpoint Award reservations must be booked at a higher Starpoint rate through your local customer contact center. Also, since all accommodations are either suites or villas, upgrades for Starwood Preferred Guest members do not apply.
Health & Well-Being Policies
Smoking is not permitted inside any accommodation. A fee of 500 USD will be charged to any guest who smokes inside a villa or suite. Smoking is permitted on the outdoor terrace of a villa or suite, and in designated public areas within the resort.
Check Cashing Policy
We regret that the resort does not offer check cashing services.
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
The resort accepts cash payments in U.S. dollars and euros only. Due to rules established by Maldivian banks, the resort is not able to accept USD notes from the 1990s or any note that is damaged (e.g., torn, dirty, pen marks). The resort does not accept traveler’s checks.
