Rated 5 out of 5 by Catherine44 Best family holiday - EVER!
After holidaying with you in 2010 as a couple we decided that we would return bringing our 3 children - ages 16;10 and 9. Although the resort facilities have always been amazing, this time around what has improved immensely is the service. Under Michael's management the resort can now truly hold its own with the best.
The way the staff looked after us and our family was fantastic - from organizing activities to meals and generally acknowledging and caring for us. We did lots
of activites with the highlight being the lagoon tour with Jack - thank you Marion for organizing this!
There is no doubt it is our new favorite place and we will definitely be back!

Wow, where do I start. There is so much to tell. First let me say the St Regis Bora Bora is a first class resort and they work very hard to assure your stay is enjoyable. When you arrive at the airport they meet you, take your bags, escort you to their boat for the trip to the St Regis, and check you in while on the boat ride. Once you arrive they have your butler escort you to your room and give you a tour of the facilities. A first class start to your stay. Once there you can relax and enjoy the beautiful water and views that Bora Bora offers. We were very lucky as we were upgraded to a two bed room overwater bungalow with a pool. A fabulous room with about 1,800 square feet and another 1,000 square feet of deck. We found it hard to leave our pool and deck to utilize other areas of the resort. Breakfast was a buffet and was included in our package. It was very good with plenty of choices like 4-6 types of juices, pancakes, waffles, omelets, numerous breads, bacon, 6-8 types of fruit, meats, cheeses, etc. Our favorite breakfast item was the banana bread. We normally took a couple pieces back to the room to snack on later in the day. They have a beach that you can sit on and there are sail boats, paddle boards, paddle boats, kayaks, etc for your use. We had two massages at the Spa and they were great. We really enjoyed the couples massage. They also have a lagoon you can snorkel in that has lots of friendly fish.
I do have these suggestions to help the vacation go better
They have bikes you can use while you are there. They do help you get around this spread out property. They do pick them up at night, as they do not want someone to wreck trying to ride at night. Get another bike the next morning when you go to breakfast.
Food is very expensive all across Bora Bora and the St Regis is no exception. Two burgers and a couple beers approaches $80. An option is to take the complementary boat to town that St Regis provides each day. They go across the lagoon and then have a van meet you to take you to the town of Vaitape. Vaitape has souvenir shops, black pearl shops, and a grocery store. My wife and I bought some bread, cheese, chips, wine, and luncheon meats so we could eat some lunches in our room at a more reasonable cost. There is a small refrigerator in the room.
You need to go off the property and eat a few dinners on Bora Bora. St Regis provides a boat service at 6:00 each evening that takes you to the island. If you book through the concierge the restaurant will have free vans waiting to take you to the restaurant. After dinner the van takes you back to the dock and the St Regis boat brings you home. We did this 4 times and it is very easy.
The Lagoon restaurant at the St Regis is excellent and you need to try it at least once.
On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 10:30 they have a fish feeding at the lagoon. It is worth attending.
Our favorite restaurants were La Villa Mahana (make reservations early), Restaurant St James, and the Lagoon restaurant. Bloody Mary’s is Ok but probably a better lunch place.
Language is normally not a problem for English speaking guests. Most of the staff you interact with is proficient with English
If you do not want to walk, call and they will send a golf cart to pick you up and take you anywhere on the property. Just give them about 20 minutes to arrive.
About 2/3 or the guests are on their honeymoon. I was married 28 years before I got to Bora Bora. I just kept asking the guys what are you going to do to top this on your first, fifth, or any anniversary. They are really setting the bar high.
Overall this was one of our best vacations ever. We are already trying to determine when we can return

Absolutely one of the most beautiful hotels that I will likely ever stay in. From the moment we got off the plane and were greeted by a concierge, we knew we were in for something special. The check-in process started on the boat ride to the hotel and we were greeted at the dock with fresh iced tea and towels. We were able to check in early and spent the rest of the day exploring the resort. This place is enormous and it's great that they offer bikes to ride around the resort. My husband and I were there on our honeymoon and we were welcomed by the incredibly warm & friendly staff. Service was top notch and having the ability to go back and forth to the main island was great. Our overwater bungalow was huge and we would wake up every morning to see the sun rise and take it all in. Breakfast was included and was a nice spread of food from various cuisines. Take advantage of the lagoonarium and the shark feedings at Lagoon. We ate at all of the restaurants at the resort and food was great. Highly recommend reserving a table at sunset at Lagoon, view is to die for. We also had dinner on the beach that was included and was was a nice way to end our honeymoon. Everything about this place is magical and we're already trying to figure out when we can go back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stevie12 My Partner and I Will Share Many Memories Of This Beautiful Place
Get to know the staff as best you can, they are some of the most mazing people we have ever met!!! With a little kindness on your part, they will go out of there way to make your stay everything you want it to be. The best customer service and hotel experience i have ever had, and we have been to many 5 star resorts.
The staff are very well trained and from the moment you arrive, by boat no less, there are several staff members waiting to greet you. After a brief tour on a golf cart, of the 44 acre resort, they than escort you inside your villa, which is AMAZING and get you familiar with everything your villa has to offer. I wont spoil the many surprises awaiting you in your villa by telling you!
The golf cart tour was not private and we had 2 other couples on the cart as they dropped us off at our villa's. This was a bit awkward, but worked out fine since I was able to chat with a fun and cute straight couple from Australia whom I later shared drinks with at the bar and wish i had gotten their email or facebook info. Perfect opportunity to meet someone new on this adventure!!
The resort is very large and the property is beautifully maintained. I walked the resort on many evenings and found something new each night to remember. The weather with the exception of the first day, was unbelievably beautiful everyday day of the next week.
Transportation around the resort is just a mere phone call away or you can utilize the many bikes scattered throughout the resort. Although i recommend walking, otherwise, you will miss many beautiful moments strolling the property and it's many surprises!!
The food options are good, there are several choices including room service and the service here too was 5 star worthy. The food is on the expensive side, but remember, you are on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and if you did your research beforehand, than this should not be a surprise to anyone.
My partner and i stayed at this resort for 5 nights and all i can say is, I wish we had stayed an
additional 50 nights!! Yes it was really, that NICE. I cannot wait to go back and can only hope that the resort can top this last stay in September. As now, the bar has been set high!!!
Another great amenity was the option to take a quick boat ride across the lagoon the main island and experience some of the local culture and its offerings. We did this one day and it was a fun adventure, i met some great local people and we were also able to visit a local grocery store and purchase some snacks and liquor to enjoy in our room.
As for Bora Bora the island, it's crystal clear, warm waters are sure to catch your eyes. It is unbelievably beautiful and romantic. The island has many surprises that await, if you just stop and look around. The air is crisp and clean, the breezes are cool and refreshing and you will for sure have many memories to share from this special place on earth.
As for the St Regis Hotel Villa, i can only say that the pictures online are not the same as being there, but they are close. You will not be disappointed when your arrive!! We did not really leave the room much as there is not really any reason to, yes they are that nice.
The hotel does offer a white sand beach and beach activities should you wish to explore. But, when you can just lay out on your private patio, on a cushy lounge chair and jump into the beautiful ocean off your private patio landing, at any moment, why would you want to leave!!
Ok now i am saying too much. All i can say at this point is, if you ever have the opportunity, go to Bora Bora and stay at the St. Regis Hotel. My partner and I have many amazing memories of this beautiful resort and it's amazing staff members for many years to come. Thank you to all the St. Regis staff members whom made this a PERFECT vacation!!!

The hotel completely exceeded expectations. It was my wife's and I first time in Bora Bora, and the accomodations were incredible. The overwater bungalows were very spacious, and the service provided was out of this world. You definitely get what you pay for with this hotel. A must stay if you visit Bora Bora for more than a day or two. You will not be disappointed.

Words cannot accurately describe the beauty and serenity of this resort. A truly amazing place. The best service from all of the staff, beyond beautiful accommodations and facilities. But of course, the highlight was the picturesque turquoise waters and the view of the mountainous region. Peaceful, quiet and serene. Perfect scenery all around the resort, dreaming of going back in the future

Rated 4 out of 5 everything good but very weak service
hotel is good, better than four seasons bora bora, but when we arrive at 12pm, they just left us in the club room for 3 hours without telling us anything. We clearly know check in time is 3pm but at least can tell us to have a lunch first! when we arrive hotel the staff just us to wait in there so we waste our time!
I was in your hotel st regis bora bora from 11th Feb 2013 to 16th Feb 2013 for 5 nights, take the two bedrooms over water villa, they gave me 50 euro cash back voucher to use when check out but because their mistake, they add 50 euro more on my final bill to make me pay 100 euro extra for that trip. But until now, i sent 3 emails to bora bora st regis but they didn't reply at all. I really want to complaint the weak service!
