Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding St Regis Property in Houston I can't say enough about the St. Regis in Houston. We have stayed in hotels all over the world, but this was the first time in a St. Regis and we were blown away. The staff is beyond top notch and the most accommodating I have ever seen in any business, not just a hotel. The hotel was in pristine condition in every inch we saw from elevators to the outside where we took our dog to the restroom. A huge plus for us was that our dog was treated like a king, The bell captain immediately told us our dog would be taken care of and he wasn't kidding. When we walked into the room there was a huge dog bed and shiny bowls waiting for him. You don't get this anywhere else. I work for a very high end automotive company and service is always our biggest concern so it really stands out to me when I am on the other side. I really hope someone high up sees this and recognizes what great associates they have at the Houston St. Regis. The only problem my wife and I have now is that it will be tough to travel to other destinations if there is not a St. Regis because everywhere else will always be compared to the platinum level of service we received there. Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Weekend Getaway My family and I booked a stay over the 4th of July weekend. It was a last minute trip. We were happy with the location. It was close to shopping and medical center/ zoo etc.. Being a platinum member , I was happy to receive an upgrade to a suite on arrival. The pool was nice and enjoyable. The only issue with the pool was basically absent bar/ food service at the pool. The valet was prompt and courteous. Overall the experience was as expected for a St Regis hotel. September 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Weekend Getaway My husband and I were looking for a luxury hotel to escape to for the weekend. We chose the St. Regis in Houston. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the staff. There was a mix-up with the rate that we had been given when booking our reservations (we had been given an employee discount) and were shocked to find out that the rate was to increase by $32 per night once we arrived. The check in staff offered us $60 credit towards breakfast to make up for the misunderstanding. Breakfast was wonderful in a nice quiet setting in the hotel. The hotel provided a courtesy car and driver to drop us off at local restaurants and then returned to pick us up. This was an added bonus! Wonderful place for an escape! September 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost there, but a bit snooty Eccellent hotel in a quiet location. Used an SNA to secure a corner Astor suite, which was nice. Freezing breakfast restaurant and other common areas, easy on the AC guys! Got a certain attitude from front desk (probably not used to non-business clientele), skip the snotty attitude please. Never been charged for a rollway bed as a platinum member before, feels cheap to get charged 30 bucks when you already are paying a premium rate. Loud air vent in bathroom that was not possible to switch off. Could be bothersome for light sleepers, I used my ear plugs. Decent pool area, but can get crowded. September 7, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by River Oaks in depth We were in and out of the hotel quite a bit attending morning, afternoon and evening events every day for three days. Our room was serviced as we wished and always felt that the staff had done something extra to ensure our comfort. our particular whims were picked up on by the staff and they perfected delivery as they knew us a bit better.
