Rated 4 out of 5 by St Regis Houston Great location, very attentive staff, smelt amazing from fresh cut flowers. One item, garbage, trash lying on floor in hallway 4th floor. Saw this for 3 days and waas going to pick it up but wanted to see how long this went on . Housekeeping not up to par for this property. Shame. July 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay at a classic luxury hotel Amazing hotel close to the galleria, yet far enough away that you don't feel like you're in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. FYI, valet parking only, and it's priced for the level of the property so be sure to factor that into the overall cost. They have a great secluded driveway for pick-up and drop-off. There's no real grand lobby at this hotel, and it may seem a little small compared to some of the other St. Regis out there (St. Regis Atlanta is truly amazing). However, check-in staff is quick, efficient, and friendly, and there's a decent size sitting room that you can use to work or relax. Rooms are well-appointed, and they definitely give SPG platinum members the recognition they deserve. I was upgraded to a suite, complete with a 5 feature bathroom, great views, and upgraded sound system. The furniture was well-kept and fully functional, and there were power outlets where you need them which is always important at a hotel. Had a late night dinner at the bar, food was decent, although I felt the flat-bread was inferior to domino's pizza. Also, the waiter was fairly slow, but it was a slow night and we were working so we weren't in a hurry so we didn't mind as much, but others may. Overall, would definitely come back and stay at this property, except for the relatively high price point. If you do stay, be prepared for a wonderful experience. July 16, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent River Oaks / Galleria Option Hidden SPG Gem in Houston that is off the beaten path, tucked between a neighborhood and the bustle of River Oaks. My preferred property for when family and friends come into town due to the ease of access. The hotel is well maintained and only in a few details of the room does it show its true age. Great skyline views from the rooms as well, the hotel does a great job of recognizing status as well. July 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warmest, homiest St. Regis I've stayed at to date! What a great hotel! I was very happy with my stay at this property. The staff was attentive and helpful, and I would be stretching to find any improvements to recommend. I've stayed at other St. Regis hotels in the past and have felt somewhat out of place; not so with this one! The reception, corridors, and rooms were luxe yet very warm and inviting. June 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Service!! Stayed here last weekend for my 2nd year wedding anniversary and the staff was great! The concierge service was amazing in helping me set up a the room to surprise my wife. They took us to dinner in a sick black Mercedes! Room was big and bed very comfortable In the morning we could not find our car keys and panicked. While tearing through our luggage and calling a locksmith, a young guy working the front desk ran to our room after over hearing us - next thing we heard keys shacking behind us. Rated 4 out of 5 by Very nice St Regis Stayed in this hotel several times and I am always pleasantly surprised how this aged property is maintained perfectly up to date. Despite its age, I think it should best be described as Classic Luxury, with generally outstanding service standards. Slightly disappointed that one of my shirts came back from laundry with a missing button. I would have thought such a thing could be checked and quickly repaired, but apparently slipped through the cracks. It happens, but this hotel is usually so outstanding that I grew to assume it is always perfect. Bar is fantastic, but one particular barman/server is negligent and has a very difficult-to-understand English accent. He is more than compensated by two other servers, one well built gentleman and one lady. Overall a great experience, but not the usual perfect. May 28, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by The St. Regis is exceptional The fragrant flowers in the the lobby and the wonderful staff at check-in were our first impressions of the St. Regis. They were followed by the beautiful room, the thoughtful birthday strawberries and wine, and the fantastic breakfast topped off our stay. A fantastic hotel. April 18, 2016
