Unfortunately our stay was short but we were so delighted with our recent experience. This property has an excellent location. The suite we had was beyond our expectations. Beautifully appointed, outstanding views, and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more welcoming or hospitable. We ate every meal at the hotel as the food was delicious. The pool and fitness gym are lovely. We will visit again !! Thanks to the entire staff for our best hotel experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by webrob Visited during political unrest period - great stay still
The staff from the restaurants and bars to the front desk and butler service were all extremely attentive and as accommodating as could be. This was my first trip to Thailand and this is a great starting off point because it is connected directly to the SkyTrain or the City's main public transit system. We even took the SkyTrain from the airport into the hotel but used a taxi on the way out because of all the extra luggage we created while shopping in Bangkok.
The facility is located in an area where there is not as much to see/do in the immediate walking area (unless working with nearby Embassies) but it is an excellent location with a great address that we had no trouble using as a base of our stay in the city.
Great times and would easily come back again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JNA1 Top marks for this hotel
This property is well located in a relatively tranquil bit of Bangkok, near Lumpini Park a refreshing spot of greenery amongst the urban sprawl. With the first few steps into the building there was a warm and genuine welcome from the guest relations and reception team.
SPG recognition was excellent with an upgrade to a metropolitan suite with views to the Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
The butler service was efficient as ever, the free-of-charge laundry and free-flowing coffee appreciated.
The quality of the food and drink (cocktails) in the bar were excellent. I was surprised by the generous size of the portions and unable to complete the courses, despite a valiant attempt.
Tip 1: There is an outside terrace at the bar, so look out for it. If night-time, take along a torch, the lack of illumination will otherwise impede your view of the menu.
Tip 2: Watch out for the sliding doors in some of the bathrooms. The recessed handles are positioned in such a way to catch your fingers against the frame when closing the door!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sadao Too Bad Staff for my room's electoric key trouble
Check-in excellent, concirje excellent, room service excellent, restaulant excellent, bell staffs excellent , pool bar staff excellent. All are very nice without one staff. My room's key broke just before check out time (Gold member can extend by 4pm). I called staff , but he said me " Why you stay here? Somebody stay in your room? You must check your room out by 12pm".... Must ? Somebody stay? Unbelievable his toooo bad communication and action for me. I never stay here in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VeryGoodPointsStacey I Love St Regis Bangkok
I recently completed my third stay at the St Regis Bangkok. I love the hotel, it's that simple. I would highly recommend that you book the St Regis during low season - when prices are reasonable - so that you can enjoy luxury.
The restaurants are all amazing - but very expensive. Worth a treat for sure. I really loved Zuma.
The spa is potentially the highest priced spa I've ever been to in Bangkok and I would recommend that you visit another local spa based on price and service.
The pool is really amazing. High atop the city you can lounge and relax while being pampered. I loved the couches - they were a great place to relax and read.
I will surely be back to the St Regis and I highly recommend it.

I hate hotels where I have to go 2 steps to reach my room . This hotel has the reception on floor 12 so you have to go first to floor 12 then take another left for the room.
TV is not HD while the world turned to HD. since years and the tv stations are poorly selected
The whole lobby floor smell cooking as restsurants are there and it looks ventilation in poor
I sent for laundry my free 5 pcs the morning of the day before departure and when I returned in the afternoon I found it returned with a note saying I must fill the form and of course I was leaving next day so nothing good be done , too late . I felt it was silly excuse .

Rated 4 out of 5 by Guan Hotel is good but laundary service lets you down.
1.Very good location, near shopping mall and four face buddha.
4.Suite upgrade for Platinum elite.
1.Express Laundary serivce return my clothes delay for 25 minutes and it causes us nearly can not catch plane.
2.Post incorrect starpoints, My room rate is 5900++ Bath, it equal to 182 USD, I should receive 364 basic starpoints but they only posted to me 322 points.
3.TV is not HD.
4.Hotel's TAXI do not use meter, if you want go to airport, they will ask you for 500 Bath with additional toll fee.
