Rated 4 out of 5 by Best SPG Hotel in Shenzhen This is my preferred Hotel when in Shenzhen and is over the top Chinese Luxury at its finest. Great views of the city and easy access to shopping, subway and boarder. Italian restaurant is not great- even for China, especially at the price. Decent buffet and good room service options. Decent bar but drinks are expensive as you are paying for the views. Plenty of food options in KK Mall or Mix C mall both are very close. Excellent gym and pool is long enough for lap swimming. There are a few key persons in mgmt that are European and Melanesian which help the operations run smoothly and can assist with lost in translation issues. March 27, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not for extended stay Good view and the marble bathroom is beautiful. I am very pleased with the butler service as they checked in with me via email on any requests that I may have, and provided the flowers and pillows that I'd asked for. However... When I checked into the hotel, I saw a bunch of receptionists standing up gossiping and reading the newspaper. I was thinking, what is this, an SOE? Also when I went to breakfast this morning and was waiting to be seated, the harried maitre d' didn't bother acknowledging me and after five minutes, I had to chase him down to get a table. It was like, are you serious? Am I at St. Regis or some three star motel? So... In conclusion, stay for a night or two is fine for the breathtaking view, but anything longer, I'd go somewhere else as service can be very spotty. February 26, 2013

Moreover I am really appreciate Amy Ma.She is always warmhearted,kindhearted to me.She is doing so well for her work and surprise me since I cannot believe she is still a student intern. Rated 4 out of 5 by I am disappointed on this hotel's service 1-> 1St night , I just slept 2 hours from 2:30am to 4:30am , the room is at the corner . I can't find space in Cabinet to put my clothes , it is full of kinds of things . No obvious instruction on how to log on internet , need call . No free fruit , only nuts which nobody knows how long it has been put in the bottles . 2->2nd night , I requested to change a room not at the corner , but the room smell bad , I requested to change again , but I waited for a log time . I was tired after whole day trip , it is not a good experience . 3->The breakfast is so bad . Can't compare with other hotels . Even I can't say delicious . Not impressive . June 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Room for improvement When we checked into the room it was clear that there were still some teething problems. The room was not as clean as we expected. There were footprints by the window and in the shower unit and glue stains on the wood finishing. The butler was eager to please but did not understand my request for a selection of fruit teas to be left in the room. Overall we had a nice stay but expected more in terms of the cleanliness of the room. March 25, 2012

Regis signature Butler is one service u won't get in anywhere in e world simply 6star service. The Italian restaurant Elba is another place that serve e best candlelight dinner . I would like to use this chance thanks Miss Loo (director of rooms) for her awesome service during my stay.. May 31, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice hotel. I was really excited about staying at this hotel 'cause it's located at the top of 8th highest building in the world. But that excitement turned into a bit of disappointment right away after facing that all of duplex suites are only located on the 76th floor which is literally bottom floor of the whole hotel. It was still amazingly high to stay several nights though. so, I got over it soon. My butler (I can' remember his name) was very attentive to my needs to see more of other rooms. And every staff being so caring and adequate to the 5-stars hotel's attitudes. However, rooms looked aged far more than It had actually been with blurrs, steins and scratches here and there. Also, turn-down service and room cleaning lacked some consistency and seemed to need more improvement to be more st reigs standard. I think I enjoyed staying here though and staying at this kind of a high building was a great experience. September 27, 2013

Called frontdesk, and wait ~20 minutes before a person can come!!!! - Did not give me credit card receipt - Wrong invoice number Worst St. Regis experience I have ever had. Rated 3 out of 5 by Stay away from high floor if you are noise sensitive I stayed two nights on the 90th floor during 7-9 Aug. The air compressor system in my room was so noisy that I had to turn off the air ventilation. On Friday night I could hear music and people screaming from a high floor. Sleep deprivation for two consecutive nights when on business trip is quite terrible experience ! August 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by More glitz than service 2 of 4 days, no take away cups available for coffee. 3 of 4 days, had to ask for coffee twice to actually get it. Bought Starbucks on the first floor. Otherwise, a good election of food available on the breakfast buffet. Ask where I could go to watch the World Cup final. Was told I could watch it on CCTV5. Not exactly the answer I was looking for. Rooms adjacent to elevator lobby are noisy. Conversation near the elevators carries into nearby rooms. Gym has a nice view for 5K on the treadmill. Recommend the hotel, more for the adjacent KK Mall, than the hotel itself. July 18, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location and view Spend 1 night at the property to celebrate the b-day of my wife. We have received very warm welcome from the butler and the managers. There was also a birthday cake and a bottle of prosecco. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and we highly recommend this sr. The only flaw is that the breakfast was not as good as expected. It is ok in general, but not for st.regis. August 7, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fabulous views at ShenZhen I've stayed this hotel at first weekend of March. This hotel occupies 75~100th floor of landmark which located in the center of ShenZhen city. Having experience like check-in at 96th floor, is very awesome for the guests. Auto-control with Ipad in the room give very special feelings. Views from the room, bars and almost all kinds of facilities in this hotel were spectacular & overwhelming. Overall, I satisfied very much on this hotel. But in the meantime, there are somethings which need to be improved. 1. One bad moment --- In the midnight when I was at Library(which located 100th floor) for enjoying wine & night view, one hotel staff called to my mobile for asking me signing the bill which I had beer at 10 pm. This made my feeling bad on this hotel. Since it was over 12 o'clock and it was my first experience to receive such kind of call from hotel for asking money. What does for deposit then? 2. Staffs, Buttlers are very kind & polite. They're trying to loyal to their guests and I can see that, but sometimes it was not easy for me to communicate in English with them. 3. 96th floor was too loud because of many people. But what I can do? -- maybe a classic music will be helpful? 4. Breakfast at Social(95th floor) --- As everyone has different point of view on foods, I just tell mine. For me, breakfast was just so-so. Except views through window, nothing feels special to me in terms of foods. It looks just normal breakfast which I can see at any other normal hotels. 5. But... Once again, overall experience ath this hotel for me was nice & very good. March 8, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Frequent traveler to Regis I have spent quite a bit of time in the Shenzhen St Regis over the last year or so and it is always a pleasure. Without a doubt, the best part of my day at the St Regis is breakfast. The buffet is quite good, and the manager on staff, Ruairi Fitzgerald, takes great care of me. It is very clear that the morning breakfast session runs smoothly thanks to his management, and he is even able to keep my preferences on seating, food, and drinks in mind every time I visit. I can stress enough the level of recognition this young man deserves. He's the reason I come back to the St Regis. June 23, 2014

Butler service definitely is the reason why I would like to come back and recommend to my colleagues who will go to SZ for business trip. Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE THIS HOTEL It's a treat to stay with my family at the St. Regis Shenzhen from Jun.15 to Jun.17. Room is amazing, comfortable bed, luxury bathroom, and the city view is just awesome. Great Service from Ms. Zhang at the front desk before I even arrived helping me choose my room. The Butler service provided was excellent and beyond my expectations. Butler Ms. Ding who attended my room were courteous, polite and prompt. She handled all of my requests professionally and proficiently. The St. Regis would be my first choice for lodging if I return to Shenzhen. June 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome service The staff is very professional and friendly. The food in both restaurants the Elba and the Social offer enough variety and its delicious. Furthermore, for nice drinks and to hear good music the Decanter is excellent. The DJ is super. Plus the view of the city from here is just fantastic. If you are a cigar aficionado , they have a great selection of Cigars along with a great drink and some light food. I want to mention the Gym. Other than not having a spin bike the equipment is well maintained and enough to stay in great physical shape. May 22, 2014

It seem the quality of services and room quality have drop. 1. Few buttons are broken. 2. Toilet sit are not fix probably. 3. Dirty carpet 4. Towering over the city, the view were amazing, staff gracious and accomodating, room wonderful, food excellent, and great location. We plan on making this our home when staying in Shenzhen. Rated 5 out of 5 by A fantastic Hotel!!! Is simple, the staff that i have dealt with while I'm at the ShenZhen hotel is fantastic. It starts from the 1st floor with great service and help provide, and the great service continuous on the floors above. (Lobby, elevator staff, restaurants, Gym). I think the decor in the rooms is great. Modern, clean and the view is just awesome. I would ,however would like to see a spin bike at the gym. Hopefully, this will happen by my next visit there in Mid- January. Xie Xie December 22, 2013

It is a destination in itself! -I had never availed myself of spa facilities before, but the visit at the iridium spa at the St. Regis Shenzhen has changed my views. Spectacular surroundings and very professional treatment. -Exceptional decor at the 96th floor reception and the bar further up. I repeat, the hotel is a destination in itself! March 26, 2014
