Rated 5 out of 5 by FLORENCE PERFECTION This is the best hotel in all of Florence. The service is flawless from doorman, to concierge, to front office, room service, butlers, restaurant and the bar manager. This was for a special occasion and every detail and request was perfect. The room was luxurious, beautiful and spotlessly clean with a wonderful view. The Winter Garden was lavish and the bar manager was the best bartender we have ever had. The Michelin starred restaurant was a delight and well worth the trip. January 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Probably the best Starwood Hotel i have ever stayed at. Everything about this grand hotel is exceptional. From the great front desk staff, to the butler, to the breakfast staff, and doorman. I have never had such top notch service. The room was beyond beautiful with original frescos, and updated tv's. There was even a tv built into the bathroom mirror that isn't visible until its turned on. Bed was ultra comfortable, A/C was updated and strong. Breakfast was unbelievable. Also, the best breakfast of all the starwood properties i stayed at in Italy which included the St. Regis in rome, the Westin Excelsior in Rome, and Westin in Venice. This St. Regis Florence is the ultimate in service and comfort. Highly recommended! August 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Will only stay at the St Regis in Florence My girlfriend and I just returned from a wine and dine visit though Italy and our most memorable stay was at the St Regis Florence. The Butler service started with a call from Ombretta a couple days before we arrived asking what we needed upon arrival and what we wanted to do while in Florence as it was our first trip tjhere together and we wanted it to be romantic. We were made aware of the impending taxi strike and provided options for transportation from the train station. Although we arrived a bit early, upon arrival we were taken to our room which was richly appointed, very clean, and warm. Our floor Butler Elisa spent a few minutes with us telling us about the city and some great places to dine and enjoy wine. We followed her recommendations for lunch and dinner and were never let down as well as some pointers for enjoying the city. Per Elisa and now us - try Gillys in Republic square for hot chocolate and try La Busola for pizza (great sauce), Dinner's you'll have to ask Elisa yourself. Try the bar for a night cap as it is luxurious and has a piano player and give the Negroni a try too as it was made just right. The St Regis rooms are great, the service perfect, and a suberb overall hotel. We will be back. February 7, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by i WISH THERE WERE A 10 STAR RATING After completing my memory book I now want to write my review!! From the time we pulled in front of the hotel this was like living a dream vacation. This being a Christmas present from my son it was not only a gift but memories made for a life time. There was not a person we met or spoke to that made this beyond a 5 star expierence. I wish I had space to name each person that served us but I have to say that Andrea, one of our butlers, was amazing. The upgrade to the suite, the food, the surprises in our room, the kind words on the notes in our room, the great bath products, the personal attention to detail etc. the concern and focus on both of us was beyond perfect. Thank you again for allowing us to make memories. August 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous in Florence My husband and I visited this hotel in May before the hotel was completely opened. The staff from beginning at the reception to the butler coffee service was amazing. They made you feel as if you were staying in your own home. We spent five days there and look forward to returning for a longer stay when we can. The rooms are luxurious and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel! November 4, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Get ready for ultimate luxury! We travel often and well, but never have we experienced the degree of luxury to which we were exposed at the St. Regis Hotel in Florence. Our ooms were absolutely beautiful, featuring wonderful view of the Arno, a sumptuous bathroom with separate bath and shower! We even had our own butler!! The entire staff seemed to know us by name and anticipate our every request. The Garden Restaurant and bar is absolutely gorgeous and Giuseppe, the pianist, is a virtuoso. Do yourself a great favor and indulge in a vacation here! January 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding property and service to match Just returned home from our visit to Rome and Florence. The St. Regis was a definite high point of a wonderful trip. Prior to arrival, the concierge staff arranged museum tickets and dinner reservations. Upon arrival, we were graciously greeted by Marcello who went above and beyond throughout our stay. We were upgraded to the Michaelangelo Suite overlooking the Arno with a balcony accessed by the living area and bedroom. The renovation was masterfully done blending old world charm with contemporary style. The butler service was efficient and the cappuccino and coffee in the morning delivered to our room was a very nice way to start the day. We did not eat at the hotel, however the menu looked inspiring and prices relatively reasonable by Florence standards. Definitely one of Starwood's best in-city hotels. February 22, 2012
