Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic property in Rome We used SPG points for a 5 night stay booking two rooms per night. The hotel upgraded our rooms to connecting suites which were massive and absoutely gorgeous. This property is really special, over 100 years old. The staff were welcoming, and the Concierge made great recommendations for dinners. For a truly special experience, book this property. August 18, 2014

The wonderful atmosphere together with fantastic service, great food and very comfortable rooms made our stay very enjoyable. Rated 5 out of 5 by We enjoyed the fruit and afternoon tea! Everyone's already pointed out the comfort and beauty of the hotel and its fine staff. So we thought we'd add Thank You for the beautiful fruit bowls brought to each of our rooms. They were filled with a variety of fresh fruit, providing a perfect snack several times throughout our stay. We also enjoyed Afternoon Tea. It took a little bit to communicate what we wanted to the staff, so perhaps guests don't often request it. But once they understood, they responded enthusiastically with a large plate of sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and a huge tray of pastries. It was too much for two people, but we enjoyed trying to eat as much as we could; it was a full meal. July 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Hotel Conveniently Located Our stay at The St. Regis was good, not great. We were there to celebrate an anniversary in Rome. Our room (#410) was located below the fitness center and we were awakened by dropping dumbells and pulsing treadmills. The hotel should put padding down on the fitness room floor. Lastly, the breakfast service was on the slow side. August 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost everything was perfect The location is fantastic, a short walk from some very picturesque locations in Rome. Getting to the hotel from the airport at times of heavy traffic by using the train and its stop at nearby Termini is very welcome. The decor of the hotel is above reproach. The only mark against the hotel was that the hot water just wasn't that hot. Both of us staying at the St. Regis on this trip enjoy a truly hot shower, and after even 10 minutes, the water at its very hottest setting was warm enough not to be uncomfortable, but definitely nothing like hot. We asked, someone came up and made adjustments, and it was somewhat warmer afterward, still not hot. Without that hitch, the hotel would have received top marks from me. November 16, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Anniversary I want to thank the exceptional staff of The St. Regis, for making our 30th anniversary one to remember. The moment I checked in with Cecelia, (outstanding from day 1), I knew I had made the right decision to stay at The St. Regis. A bottle of wine, bread & cheese in the salon, while we were upgraded to a suite just added to the splendor. A bottle of champagne arrived from the Manager to celebrate our special evening and it served as the perfect ending after our long travels from the States. Tickets to Florence on the train, or a driver to port of Civitavecchia or a suggestion for dinner was not a problem through our Concierge...Every need, want or request for our 5 days in Rome was handled with excellence in service and graciousness, provided effortlessly and may I say sadly missing from other hotels.
